I placed an order and the location was still set for a different state after I went on a trip. I placed an order and cancelled it within 30 seconds after it was placed when I realized the location was incorrect. UberEATS charged me for the full amount of the order and is refusing to provide me with a refund because they are saying the order was received and the status was "preparing". There is no way they were preparing the food within 30 seconds of receiving the order. The chatbot was useless and the customer service workers were rude and not helpful. These people are essentially stealing from me for food that never even started being prepared. I even offered to pay a cancellation fee, but they just kept telling me there is nothing they can do for me. I am deleting this app and they are never getting another penny from me. Terrible customer service.

I ordered kfc tonight from uber eats modbury. The driver asked me to sms him the code which i did he never showed up i checked with neighbours and around my garden no food. Tried calling he never answered . I contacted uber support and was told it wasn't there problem . I tried the app it said because I texted him the code I have my food and case is closed i don't know who else to contact. And didn't get my food and out of money .will never use uber eats again and will never recommend it to anyone unless they want to be out of money and no food order

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Uber Eats. Not only was my order canceled without proper explanation, but I was also unfairly charged. When I tried to get help, the support was unhelpful and dismissive. It felt like no one cared about customer service. Honestly, I’m disappointed and will think twice before using this app again.

I closed my account on May 17 2025. Uber eats charged my account for $44.25 May 20, 2025. They won’t acknowledge the email I shared where I cancelled membership. They won’t refund my money.

The delivery man left the meal in the street instead of "my door" and marked it as "delivered".. I couldn't find it, but he sent a picture of it in my street as if it's a proof that it was delivered!! I lost the money for nothing.. unprofessional service, bad contact with customers.. I will definitely uninstall the app!

I was double charged for my order. When I contacted customer service she told me she needed the first 6 numbers, the last 4 numbers and the exp date of my card to do a search. This was after she requested a screenshot of the doublecharge and told me it wouldn't load in system. I responded with you cab do ant search with just the last 4 digits and what a miracle she did just that. Ill go use DoorDash again before I EVER use UberEats

Terrible Experience – Overcharged and Treated Like I Don’t Matter Absolutely awful experience with Uber Eats. I was overcharged for my order and when I contacted customer service, I was met with automated responses and representatives who clearly had no clue what they were doing—or simply didn’t care. It’s like talking to a wall. Instead of resolving the issue or even offering a basic apology, they just kept deflecting and repeating the same nonsense. It’s shocking how a company this big can have such a useless support team. They need serious training on how to handle customers with respect and basic competence. I’ll be taking my orders elsewhere and I strongly suggest others do the same. Uber Eats clearly doesn’t value its customers.

Terrible first experience. My order was sent to the wrong address, and nothing was done to correct their mistake. I never received my food, got zero support from customer service, and was still charged. This was my first and last time using Uber Eats. I cancelled my Uber One trial on day one. Completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

Uber Eats is very difficult to reach, which is frustrating. As a loyal customer, this experience has made me understand why some people may choose not to use your service again. Today, I placed an order and the restaurant forgot to include utensils and napkins. I called the restaurant directly to inform them of the oversight. I was setting up an event at a warehouse that does not have a kitchen and couldn't leave because I was waiting for vendors all day. I had already paid a premium for my order through Uber Eats, and it was outrageous that I couldn’t eat my salmon and rice because I didn’t have a fork. Additionally, I am a diabetic and was beginning to feel unwell. This situation was entirely unnecessary, and the restaurant informed me that only Uber Eats could issue a refund for this mistake.

Uber Eats does not even deserve a single star rating and needs to be held accountable. This comment is in response to my second time using Uber Eats and I did so to be sure my mother and aunt received Mother's Day meals while I was at work. UE did not honor a two-for-one deal and as I was unable to follow up on the issue within two days they refuse to take responsibility and provide a refund. Where most businesses allow at least a 7-day period for follow-up when a customer is dissatisfied, UE only allots 48 hours, which is insufficient. It is also appalling that they do not have a call line for customer service, and furthering their cowardice, it lacks a conscience to be humane enough to create space for human-to-human interfacing. EU only provides a chat line with representatives that copy and paste the same responses. Uber Eats falls inexcusably short on customer service and lacks integrity and a general sense of humanity. The lesson learned is to never engage with faceless businesses.

I cancelled an order for the first time after being a customer that orders often. Got charge 41$ full price. Spoke with customer support and saw that it was a complete joke. NO SUPERVISORS and just a bunch of robot employees. I will NEVER order from uber eats again. I hope your policy was worth losing a loyal customer.
