I had called a delivery from a bagel place but realized after the fact that it was on its way that i had an old address in. I called my driver and told him about the issue and we agreed that he could deliver it to my new address which was just a 2 minute drive away. After hanging up i sent my new address but then it said my food had been delivered on the app which is was not to neither my address or my old address where my parents live. I called customer service and explained my issue to which they were very unhelpful, rude, and not understanding at all. The person i was speaking to kept repeating the same thing over and over again, i had asked to speak to a supervisor or possibly anyone else that would be more understanding and he refused. He was incredibly rude and said that if i wanted to speak to someone else i will have to hang up and dial again because he didn’t want to transfer me to anyone else. Thank god my driver ended up delivering my meal but only after 30 minutes of me trying to resolve the issue. The customer service is extremely unprofessional and not qualified at all.

I have been extremely disappointed in UberEATS lately. Missing items, cold food, or the quality of the food is just terrible. They have just added more restaurants in my area and I tried a few of them. The delivery fee was high and the food was cold. I used to be a huge supporter because they were definitely on point when I started using them, but now I feel that the accuracy of my orders have declined. Drivers should be required to check orders, make sure everything is there before leaving. A driver told me that they don’t even get a list of what they are supposed to pick up. That’s ridiculous. You should know what you are getting before you leave. Lastly if I have missing or incorrect items I need my money back. Not a general email that states “ we adjusted your account in the past so we can’t do it again”. If I didn’t get it I shouldn’t be charged for it. I try not to be the person to complain but it’s sad how these companies start off a certain way and then slowly decline in the service they provide. Customer service should ALWAYS be on point no matter how big or small your company is. *** These observations are coming from a person that rarely does reviews and has worked in customer service for years. On a good note: Most the people that have delivered to me are nice.

We have ordered from UberEats several times over the last two months or so, with mixed outcomes. We ordered from them the last time this morning. Sunday morning, at 9:43 we ordered a small meal (5 things total) from McDonald's, every few minutes the delivery time would get pushed back - now this could McDonald's fault at this point. 45 minutes later the app shows McDonald's is still preparing our food and we are starving so we choose to cancel the order and go get food ourselves. When you click 'cancel order' it gives you two options - one to continue with your order and one to call support, we called support. The customer service woman was completely unapologetic and rushed through the conversation, she said we wouldn't get a refund if we cancel and that the driver was at the restaurant so please just wait. So we did...we finally got our food nearly one hour after we ordered it. We had no recourse unless we wanted to loose out on $20+. We have now deleted the app and won't be using them again, it just isn't worth the gamble.

The customer service representative would not let me get a word in edgewise and was very insistent and nasty. She told me that I had placed 3 orders when in actuality I had only placed 2...the first one being cancelled because of an incorrect price for the order and then I ordered a second time and they charged me the correct price. I highly suggest that you stick to American employees. Outsourcing is hurting the people of the United States by taking away jobs.
