“Updating my initial one-star review as the first issue of Daphne's diary 2026 finally showed up last week, along with the second issue. There were issues with delayed delivery due to lack of stock, and one promised delivery date passed with no magazine, but after posting my initial review I was contacted by a human being with a genuine apology and a compensation offer of an additional issue which is good customer service.”

Thank you for your message, and I am sorry for the continued frustration this delay has caused you.
As previously explained, we did have stock of this issue; however, we did not receive the full quantity we ordered from the publisher. Deliveries arrived with us in staggered shipments rather than all at once, which meant we were unable to fulfil every order immediately upon release.
Because of this, we have had to dispatch copies on a first-come, first-served basis, while also prioritising customers with long-standing subscriptions who have been receiving the magazine from us regularly for over a year.
I completely understand that seeing the issue available elsewhere and on social media makes this even more disappointing, and I appreciate your patience.
The good news is that we have now received the remaining copies from our supplier. Your order will be dispatched today from our warehouse, and you will receive an email confirmation shortly once this has been processed.

“The purchasing experience itself is very convenient and efficient, the variety is wide and rich and the prices are very fair. I was a little annoyed that the package itself arrived when the original plastic bags of the magazines were all gone, apparently opened by customs upon entry into Israel? The Lego packages, for example, in Lego magazines, were glued to the magazine itself with regular adhesive tape, which damages the cover when the adhesive is removed. If they had at least put the plastic back in place after inspection, it would have been fine.”

We’re very sorry to hear about the condition of the packaging on arrival. Unfortunately, international parcels can occasionally be opened by customs on entry, and in these cases the original packaging (including plastic sleeves) is not always replaced by the inspecting authority before the parcel continues in transit. We understand how frustrating this is and we apologise for any disappointment caused.
With regard to the LEGO magazine packaging, we would also like to clarify that the gift items are supplied to us by the publisher already attached to the magazine using adhesive tape. As these arrive pre-packaged in this way, it is not something we are able to change or alter.

“Not good. Was delighted with the double seasonal issue. But have not received issue 12. I remained patient till last Saturday though Christmas is over. No excuses for slow post.”

“I have the TAKE A BREAK magazine sent every week for a number of years. Due to the postal service one cannot be certain exactly which day of the week one will get it. It has only gone completely wrong a couple of times and that could also have been due the postal service.”
