“Our plans were unavoidably changed, and we did not get to use the service we'd paid for in advance. Our fault, not theirs. I'm confident the service would have been very good. Just wish we hadn't had to pay in advance.”

“The woman who « welcomed » us was very unpleasant, we almost thought we were bothering her! This is the only negative point, the service is really convenient for the price!”

“I was able to drop off my bags and pick them up in the middle of Manhattan and am very grateful for that. However, I felt a bit uneasy leaving all my belongings behind at a souvenir shop after being snapped at by one of the owners. At least the other person told me that anyone with a photo of the tags would be able to retrieve the bags.”

“Dropped the bags at 1:30am, were not told to record our numbers. Almost were not given back the bags because we did not have the numbers.”

“Vertoe is really great when flights at night. But when I booked in Santa Monica the night before my booking, the shop closed down. Maybe someone didn't update the system of that. When I chatted with the customer care, I told I had to take uber coz it was further from Santa Monica Pier. The only compensation was 20%. That was the only downer.”

“The idea is great, but the customer service we got upon arrival at our pre-booked spot was dismal. The clerk tapped our plastic bagged car-seats with his foot and said, we don't take that - maybe you are in the wrong place. Which is really frustrating when you have children and bags in hand. We bagged the car-seats differently and they accepted our luggage, with an additional comment of 'next time bring your car', which makes absolutely no sense to say to a traveling family...the same clerk was very polite when we returned and our bags were in fine condition, but the initial interaction was really bad.”

“Service was excellent but their policy is awful. Same price for any size bag is ridiculous and the company should rethink about this policy.”

“I attempted to make the reservation using the app, but it was slow and got double booked accidentally. Fortunately, I was able to cancel the double booking but it could have been avoided if the app functioned a little more smoothly. Applying the first-time user's discount code was also impossible because the app was being so slow.”

“It was great to have this option however the particular store we stored our luggage at did not have the little blue tags to attach to our luggage. The email I received showed little blue tags that essentially served as identification and a lock but that is not what was used. The gentleman at this store simply wrote a number on scratch paper and stapled it to our luggage. We did not like this method at all and did not feel our luggage was particularly safe.”

“Good concept but luggage drop of place used wasn't what I was expecting (Ramen shop) and was disappointing and didn’t satisfy my expectations.”

“The Nightstar location is a bit sketchy. The guy at the front seemed friendly, but it doesn't seem professional or secure when your bags are stored by the front counter and you are not given any type of ticket to acknowledge that you have handed your belongings over to someone.”

“This was the most ghetto set up I ever encountered. I was really scared to leave my luggage there being that the store owner was just threatened 2 mins before. Luckily everything was returned back to me in one piece but it was a ghetto situation”

“The place was convenient to where I was staying and spending time in NY but I was not impressed with the process of picking up my luggage. There was no checking my number to the luggage to make sure that I had taken the correct luggage. Also, I had paid for 2 pieces of luggage as my daughter was scheduled to arrive after I checked my luggage. Her luggage ended up being delayed and so was unable to check in her luggage. According to the Vertoe website, you can't get a refund after the time of your reservation. While it's not much of a charge, it's annoying that I can't get a refund for the luggage that was not checked in.”

“As a first time user, I was pleased with the location, however, the shop staff had no idea what I was on about until I persisted in asking for the person named on app. Then once the boss had confirmed that the luggage was to be stored I was given no receipt and no tamper seal was placed on the baggage. Apart from that it was great!”

“The store appeared scratchy at first and the guy behind the counter was not very welcoming. All he said was, tie these around each suitcase and take a picture in a very solum voice”

“The actual experience with my luggage was positive — scheduled online, bag was stored as advertised, drop off & pick up was easy. Vertoe website was the problem, reservations didn’t always work properly on a smartphone or tablet. And when I emailed a question, received no answer. 4 days later, trip long over, but still no response from customer service!”

“Honestly very convenient. I'm just confused because our 2 luggages cost when we booked is 11.49 as far as I can remember, but since we have 3 extra hand carry ( backpack, baby bag and tote bag) we decided to leave it, but the charged is already 18.00. Why the price is different?”
