So last night my mother had payed for a bike and a clock for my two nephews. She made sure the bike and clock where in stock before she had paid for them online and even paid for fast track! She went to the store today to collect and Argos had the cheek to say SHE CANCELLED THE ORDER! She had not cancelled the order. She had emails and a bank statement saying she had brought these two items. The Argos store had sold the bike she brought and put on the system she cancelled the order! But when she asked if she could still have the clock they said no! They refused to give her an item she had paid for, So after leaving the store very unhappy, she rang customer services , they told her the Argos store had sold the item and put on the system she cancelled it. My mum asked for a refund so she could buy from another store tomorrow and was told she couldn't until the end of next week! Thanks Argos, now my two young, nephews won't be getting something they asked Santa for!

I ordered an item on the 2nd December. Got 3 texts to say coming on the 8 th of Dec. Still no parcel went into Argos to enquire only to be told to track parcel myself Tried tracking parcel no relevant information that lets me know when it will be delivered. It is now 23rd of December I am really angry and disappointed will not use Argos again

Trying to call Argos is like using a dinner folk to empty the ocean. The worse phone service I have ever experienced since I could use a telephone. Disappointed vaguely express how I feel. All I wanted was just to find out if an item was out of stock in the closest store to me, could I reserve it in another store which is the second closest and then they send it to the store closest to me for pick up. For three days I called three different Argos stores and no one answered. I just wish I could get the item from somewhere else. I know losing one customer would not hurt you Argos but you just lost one anyway.

Used a gift card to pay online, They took the money off the card but didn't give me an order number. There Customer service was shocking being lied to twice and then a woman on the phone telling me to just wait and see what happens. 1 month on still waiting for the money back. Use Amazon so much better and an amazing customer service in my history with them

I purchased a surprise £400 Christmas present from Argos about 2 weeks ago for my son, due to its size this item was home delivery only. Great service, it arrived nice and early on the specified day (today) which was brilliant. However...printed all over the box was photographs of what's inside. My son now knows what he's got for Christmas and the whole special present has been ruined. I spoke to 2 members of staff today, Jenny and Shirley. Both were very apologetic but told me that nothing could be done and that the deliveries are sent out that way. I explained that most large home delivery items are double boxed for protection and privacy, but was told that this is not how Argos send out their parcels. No offer of any goodwill gesture or compensation for ruining my family's Christmas. I am massively disappointed and upset.

Ordered a washer dryer and paid for installation and removal of old machine. Company phoned and said they did not have time to instal the new machine. OK - we can do that. Arrived with new machine, dumped it in the middle of my flat, walked past the old one which was ready to go and left the building. I chased them down the road and was told sorry love we are not taking it as we cannot park anywhere. ??? In that case how did they manage to bring the new machine in? What they did not want to do was carry the old one down the stairs. If they walked past it to their van then they could have taken it with them. I now have two washing machines in a very small flat. After contacting Customer Services I was told the delivery men said the roads were shut which is a complete lie. If the roads were shut how did they get to me in the first place. I then tried to book another visit for removal of the machine, but lost the slot as they could not reach me within ten minutes of being telephoned. Never, ever again will I buy anything from Argos - disgusting service and a total joke. The new machine will be returned so they can come and collect that.

A horrible company to do business with. This was my first and LAST ever purchase with them. Notebook I purchased was very inferior in performance. Whitechapel store manager refused to hinge 30 days money back guarantee because the outer packaging tape seal has been opened. He was a total jerk. I talked to someone in customer service who was a worst jerk than the mgr. I am taking legal action

ORPINGTON SPRINGVALE STORE, VERY RUDE STAFF, KEPT ME AND OTHER CUSTOMERS WAITING IN LINE WHILST ONE OF THE STAFF (LOUISE) ON THE TILL HAD A CHAT WITH A COLLEAGUE. VERY ABRUPT UNFRIENDLY MANNER. NEEDS RETRAINING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.

Placed an order which "guaranteed" it would be ready for collection on 20th December. Got a text the next day (16th) which said it was ready for collection. Great I thought so double checked on my account and this said it wouldn't be ready until the 27th! I was given some excuse about software and stock issues (make your mind up). I then checked just to see and the item I ordered was apparently available for "immediate collection"! What a joke, unreliable, shocking service. Avoid at all costs. I will be returning to John Lewis and Amazon in futures.

Ordered folding guest bed for Xmas guest. Waited in all day from 7am to 9th - no sign of delivery. Phoned their call centre - Dean could t help and gave me 0345 no. To phone tomorrow. Last time I will use Argos delivery. Got Amazon delivery yesterday for a floor cleaner no problem. Argos service is the worst.

I didn't even want to award them with one star! I went to the store to return my mobile phone as it had a crack in the screen, which was not my fault. The lady took my phone to have a look and handled it very clumsily (she dropped it), this caused more cracks on the screen. I said that it still had warranty and she automatically said that I dropped it and so can not gain a refund or exchange, she damaged my phone even more by dropping it! I don't understand why I can't return my phone because of that! I asked if there were any other alternatives, she said that 'there was nothing to do about it'. They can't even offer alternatives or advice on what I could do next, it just seems to me like they don't even know their own products and recruit members for the heck of it. The woman was very rude and very assertive. There was also another person in front of me who was being served by someone else. She told me that she was never going to shop at Argos. Ever. I can see why now. I'm going to take her advice and never shop here ever again. I could find products that are sold more cheaper in other stores. Don't expect me to come back to buy from you lot.

Had to wait 2 bloody months for a freaking refund for goodness sake on top you mislead people with the refund policy which has been noted to trading standards. a reminder: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods should be of a satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. My rights have been breached because the item you sold me is faulty. I would like a refund/repair/replacement."

I ordered a large toy giraffe for my daughter through Fasttrack on 2 December. I was given a delivery in store of 7th-12th December. After 3 weeks, a visit to the store and several 20 minute calls later (17 of which I was queued listening to piped music), I was none the wiser where it was or when it would turn up, The last adviser told me it would arrive and was "At the hub and would be delivered shortly" and he cut me off. 7 hours later my bank informed me Argos had refunded the £76. No explanation and I was stuck without the gift my daughter wanted. Fortunately I found it on Amazon for £10 less and a next day delivery. Argos = ????. Amazon = ????????????????????... I won't use Argos again

My Order ID: 1153194961 I recently ordered SAMSUNG 55KU6100 UHD SMART CURVED LED TV, and they have delivered damage TV out of the time they promised delivered. When I asked replacement they informed me that product is out of stock and will refund the total amount. Then when I asked to return it, the collection vehicle came several time out of the time that we schedule with Argos. Throughout this process, I had to call Argos more than 10 times to arrange collection and get my refund. Finally they agreed to offer me £30 compensation along with full refund. But unfortunately I did not receive neither refund or £30 compensation yet. Their customer service is really poor that no one can accept such poor customer service. CSR staff do not keep records properly and they do not communicate this record with delivery department and finance department. As per my experience Argos is the worst big retail company in the UK. Their price cheap, and also product and service are also very very cheap!!! Rubbish company that you need to decide wisely before purchase anything from Argos!!!!1.

I ordered a now tv box with same day delivery 7pm to 10pm but not got my parcel yet or a text or email to let me know what's going on. Been sitting at home waiting in for nothing i'm very disappointed with Argos. I ordered this now tv box with sky movie passes for a great price but been let down. I'm out all day tomorrow so i wont be in that's why i had the same day delivery. Not Happy.

Rubbish service. Ordered two tablets for delivery today between 7 and 10pm. Contacted them as the parcel never arrived to be told "it appears to be stuck in a certain state, sorry. Please try and contact us tomorrow" Won't be using again

Absolutely disguisted with the customer service. Ordered a Chest Freezer with an estimated delivery of 5 days... On the confirmation email it stated that Argos will contact an hour before delivery. On the day of delivery they sent me an email about trying to attempt delivery without even contacting me. When I rang customer services to try and sort the order out, they tried to tell me that they attempted to call me on my phone (which clearly didn't). Now apparently they have to ring me back tomorrow as they cannot sort out another delivery date as of yet. Absolutely disguisted with the service, and its approaching christmas also!!!!! Expected a hell of a lot more from Argos... Not ordering online from them again!

My wife ordered a product online and collected today. She showed on her smartphone that it was cheaper elsewhere today to take advantage of the price match; Argos would not accept this as being evidence and would not price match. I went on live chat and that was equally useless. This is an example of false advertising, incompetence and exceptionally poor service.
