Worst services ever i have seen about Argos in last three years allways had a problem. payed money instantly and deliver date after three week. Do not bother to call that i am not going to get after waiting all day. call customer service and come to know that Item is not available and try to send alternative product that even after another three week. Argos must close down. Order no: 211608548 Date 21/10/2015, delivery date 14/11/2015 between 7 to 12pm.

Shocking customer service. Requested a delivery of a fridge to my work address but the confirmation e mail said it was to be delivered to my home address. I sent an e mail to change this but nothing. Rang them to change the address and after a very frustrating 15 minute call they say I have to refuse the delivery, then ring back up to re-arrange a new delivery. I have decided to ring back up and cancel. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Nov 13,2015 I placed a order for a 15 tog goose feather & down kingsize duvet by downland and paided for next day/saturday delivery. Was then sent a text saying my item would be delivered on saturday between 7am-6pm. Come saturday at 10am I'm sent other text saying sorry your item will now be delivered monday! I went to try and email them via the contact us page and clicked on the link that would normally open my email to send a email but this time it did not it just kept refreshing the contact us page! I had to look around the net for 30 mins-1 hr to find their email address (which is order. enquiries at argos .co.uk for those that need it just make sure there are periods between order and enquiries). Was then sent this morning a automated response to my email this time I had a link for live chat,Which I clicked on to hopefully talk to someone and at lest be refunded the shipping for the item failing to be delivered on the stated day. Only to find out from Charlie on argos live chat that it's not even in stock in their warehouse for at home delivery! they also said they don't know why their system even allowed people to buy it for home delivery! They then went on to say sorry & if you want you can wait til we get it in stock for home delivery and we will send it out asap or we could refund you. Well needless to say I was furious at that point and demanded my money be returned in full. SHAME on argos for not checking their systems! SHAME on argos for selling a item not in stock! They took my money for a item they did not have in to sell now I have to wait 5-7 days to get my money back when it took them maybe a day for them to take my money for a item they did not have to sell to start with! I will only use argos as a last resort now and I will NOT ever order for something to be home delivered EVER EVER AGAIN

Ordered store collection of a computer for my mother in Uk , I paid by visa from Australia.Argos locked in the money but gave no order number. First time got through customer service who just said tuff you better get bank authorisation code and talk to our finance team. Then he put phone down not even giving number for finance team I call my bank who give me authorisation code Argos got to take the money from my account. Phoned back customer service was on the line for 46 minutes with that message we all know .Every ten minutes send I complaint detailing issues and giving update a no answer from customer services. If no response by Monday Bank will take action on my behalf to get my money back. What Company can I pay to supply my mother in N Yorkshire a laptop as a birthday present. Robert Handley

Shame i cant give a minus star,Argos customer service is the most appalling thing i have ever come across.I ordered 2 seperate items on different days both costing over £100 each..I never received my vouchers,First phone call i waited over an hour only to be fobbed off with "we will send them in the post" Never received them so rang again..An hour later i got through and was told i would receive them via a link to my email, got no links,Rang again this time they appologised and promised me i would definitely get them via link but it would take 24-48 hours, still never got them, rang twice more after that and waited an hour, auto cut off after the hour is up so got to speak to nobody, sent 3 emails they never replied to any..managed to get through to live chat, she gave me the voucher code links..as soon as i go to basket to check out the chat dissappears and the vouchers didn't work, same the second time round.. I am losing my patience with Argos, they need to clean up their customer services and maybe employ more staff. What is going to happen on Black fridays if they can't cope now?? Glad i got that off my chest.

Complete garbage. Ordered an item for same day delivery, waited in till 10 on a Friday night, literally by the door, got an automated text at 22:06 saying "your delivery has been attempted blah blah call us to arrange redelivery", tried to call, conveniently call centre closes at 2200 on the dot. As I say complete garbage, don't bother, get John Lewis to price match or order same day from Amazon, no need to use Argos whether you need it cheap or soon.

Already wrote a review, but here we go again, bought my daughter a washing machine, needed urgently has a family, ordered on Saturday 07/11/2015. Earliest could be delivered is between 7am / 12pm. Received call would arrive between those times, Never Did, she called them at 6-30pm, on phone for over 30 mins, to be told, van had too much on it took hers off not coming till next week, she asked why not tomorrow or weekend, because other people had orders to be delivered she would have to wait., have you ever heard anything like it, this company is going down hill big time and they are making a fortune by keeping you on hold for over 30 mins at a time. Think I will start shopping elsewhere, service absolutely appalling.

What a bloody joke!!!!! 12 times over the past 3 days have I tried to speak to someone in customer services. Every time you get the same crappy message and every time I ended up on hold waiting for someone to speak to me. After waiting on hold for 10 mins every time I have given up. My delivery still hasn't turned up..... I am surprised that this company still exists let alone has any customers. Needless to say I won't be shopping with Argos anymore. I even went into my local Argos store and the young man in charge there was about as much use as a chocolate fire guard...... Jo Camridgeshire

Went on line shopping with Argos, purchased a Sony TV and paid by PayPal. Found it strange I never got a email with my details or a order number but left it that night hoping I would get a email in the morning. Morning came and no email, so I rang the number provided and was put on hold,47 minutes later still on hold so I hung up. I emailed them again only to get a reply saying we need your order number which they had not sent. Went back on there web site only to find the TV was now a extra £70 from the night before, so I still have no TV , plus if I did want it now it would cost me more. I have now opened a case on PayPal against them, so Argos will not be getting any further custom from myself or family. N McFarlane Ellon

Ordered a shed in July, didn't get it until October because of numerous delays. They promised me some cash back once it got delivered... I called them on Sunday and was in a queue for 35 minutes before giving up - I thought: Sunday, ah well. I call them Monday morning at 8:30am and wait for 10 minutes before having to go into work... ah well, its first thing, they're probably busy. I call them Monday lunch time and I'm in a queue for FIFTY FIVE MINUTES, before having to go back into work... pretty angry now I call them again when I get home, since they're open until 8, 35 minutes more queueing before having to go out. Grand total of time: 2 hours and 15 minutes. OK, so I send them an email, no response for 3 days, so I try their web chat. I get through to someone, who takes my complaint and passes me through to someone else, who takes forever to respond to any of my messages, then cuts me off at 20:01, a minute after they close and its impossible to get back onto the web chat. Not shopping with Argos again. I'd recommend that you don't either.

Argos at Tunstall is an absolute joke, too many chiefs not enough indians. The waiting time for your purchases is terrible. They should take a leaf out of Argos Crewe they are customer friendly.

I had a query regarding an order - first attempt to call left me hanging on the phone for over half an hour before I gave up. I then spoke to an online representative who told me she could not deal with my query and would need to transfer me to a colleague - she 'left' the conversation and I never heard from her colleague. I emailed customer services but did not receive a reply so I called again the next day..............hung on for about 10 minutes but I had work to do and had to ring off. I called back later and hung on for another 20 minutes with no answer....................I give up - DOES ARGOS EVER ANSWER THIER PHONES OR ARE THESE CALLS A WAY OF GENERATING REVENUE? I WILL NOT USE THE ONLINE SERVICE WITH ARGOS EVER AGAIN. Appalling Customer Service!!!!

Ordered a fridge freezer a month ago and it only came today after initially next day been told 7 days. My product was passed onto 2 different courier. I rang the customer service line continuously and was in the call que for over an hour on all occasions. They just don't care. i had two advisor put me on hold and just drop my call, after me explaining to them. All i wanted to do was find out when the delivery was coming, i took a day off work after being told it was coming 2 weeks ago. I went to my local Argos when it didn't arrive and i was told definitely the next day before 7 pm, boyfriend took that off work, still didn't come . I will never buy from this company ever again, they are a joke and i expected alot more from a large company like this. advisers also talked over me. Quite frankly i dont think that they dererve the 600 pound i spent, they weren't worth it.

Awful online service......never again. Don't deliver on date arranged and trying to get through to customer service is the worst experience ever. Queuing for nearly an hour then cut off and have to start all over again. Shame they spent more on ad campaign promising same day delivery on national tvrather than spend money employing staff to answer phone. Will never use again.

Absolutely appalling after-sales service. I'd arranged for a collection of a table I'd ordered from Argos, took time off work, but they didn't show, and I didn't get a call before or after to say why or to re-arrange an alternative time. I subsequently called their support line, twice, each time being held on the line for over an hour and each time not receiving an answer! Argos should be made an example on, on national TV alongside their current national Ads! The irony of it all, is that while you're waiting on their service line, the automated voice intermittently says, "We do value your custom". What a laugh! I'll never order anything from Argos ever again.

Used fast track service for the first time. Received emails and text message over space of 5days confirming order had been delivered to local branch. Got a lift there went to counter was ignored at fast track for ten minutes! Advised I had quite a few orders all had same collection code , gave first one with code than second and was told all the order comes up on the system. Eventually he came back with 4items,mad used i ordered more not just four items, so I had to go back home to check each code under what item I was still kissing, all said they were at the branch. Went back few hours later advised situation, one order was done moved to next one and only one ticket came out nothing for the second took four people to get involved and none understood what had happened and couldn't give me the item without their printed ticket! Moved to next one and on the last one told it wasn't in, showed them text and was told the text and email was wrong. I asked what I was supposed to do or would I automatically get another email or text was told she didn't know and walked off. Found staff rude and unhelpful meanwhile I had stood for twenty minutes. Ended up asking for manager who again went back to trying to figure out why the ticket hasn't printed, was then told it wasn't in! She said they had some in stock in store but couldn't give it to me, after debating as to why over another five mins told to call fast track get them to refund and rebut in store, didn't have card on me anyway if I'd wanted to do this. They end up getting one from their stock and after waiting over half an hour told to wait and see another four days for the item that apparently has not been delivered to see if I get a email or text if not to go back again to see what they can do as they have none in stock I can have. Waste of time and certainly not fast took longer then going in store and doing from scratch, not customer focused at all don't use this service at all stay clear- I was told nothing but issues with this service on daily basis , then stop the service until it's sorted and stop wasting peoples time!

Argos, drakehouse,Sheffield. Just lost over an hour of my life I'll never get back. Ordered my product, queued in long queue with purchasers, people returning things and others with general queries, eventually got served then stood again for ages with others. Really think this new system doesn't work very well, to think this new way has come from intelligent people on good salaries at argos hq, it's a joke, will be a nightmare in December, bring back the pencils,returns/query desk, and clear out the numpties at hq.
