Absolutely appalling after-sales service. I'd arranged for a collection of a table I'd ordered from Argos, took time off work, but they didn't show, and I didn't get a call before or after to say why or to re-arrange an alternative time. I subsequently called their support line, twice, each time being held on the line for over an hour and each time not receiving an answer! Argos should be made an example on, on national TV alongside their current national Ads! The irony of it all, is that while you're waiting on their service line, the automated voice intermittently says, "We do value your custom". What a laugh! I'll never order anything from Argos ever again.

Used fast track service for the first time. Received emails and text message over space of 5days confirming order had been delivered to local branch. Got a lift there went to counter was ignored at fast track for ten minutes! Advised I had quite a few orders all had same collection code , gave first one with code than second and was told all the order comes up on the system. Eventually he came back with 4items,mad used i ordered more not just four items, so I had to go back home to check each code under what item I was still kissing, all said they were at the branch. Went back few hours later advised situation, one order was done moved to next one and only one ticket came out nothing for the second took four people to get involved and none understood what had happened and couldn't give me the item without their printed ticket! Moved to next one and on the last one told it wasn't in, showed them text and was told the text and email was wrong. I asked what I was supposed to do or would I automatically get another email or text was told she didn't know and walked off. Found staff rude and unhelpful meanwhile I had stood for twenty minutes. Ended up asking for manager who again went back to trying to figure out why the ticket hasn't printed, was then told it wasn't in! She said they had some in stock in store but couldn't give it to me, after debating as to why over another five mins told to call fast track get them to refund and rebut in store, didn't have card on me anyway if I'd wanted to do this. They end up getting one from their stock and after waiting over half an hour told to wait and see another four days for the item that apparently has not been delivered to see if I get a email or text if not to go back again to see what they can do as they have none in stock I can have. Waste of time and certainly not fast took longer then going in store and doing from scratch, not customer focused at all don't use this service at all stay clear- I was told nothing but issues with this service on daily basis , then stop the service until it's sorted and stop wasting peoples time!

Argos, drakehouse,Sheffield. Just lost over an hour of my life I'll never get back. Ordered my product, queued in long queue with purchasers, people returning things and others with general queries, eventually got served then stood again for ages with others. Really think this new system doesn't work very well, to think this new way has come from intelligent people on good salaries at argos hq, it's a joke, will be a nightmare in December,bring back the pencils,returns/query desk, and clear out the numpties at hq.

I placed my order on sat and was given a fast track delivery slot of 7pm&10pm that evening but the items never arrived so spent all morning trying to get in touch with customer service by phone and email and was eventually told it was an IT issue and was promised my goods would be delivered between 2pm&6pm today and yet again the items have not been delivered this was supposed to be a surprise gift for my Mum but the surprise has been ruined as I had to tell her to wait for her delivery slot today which was a waste of time for her. Very disappointed by this new fast track delivery. Shame on you Argos.

Ordered 3 items for there same day free delivery to save me going up to the store as I'm disabled.My delivery was between 1900-2200 it's now 23.10 and nothing guess they couldn't be bothered and don't bother to text phone or email to say what's not happening.Wont bother again

Rubbish company from the MD's pa, the directors office, customer service and their managers. Do not use this company if you value customer service and do not have an unlimited amount of time to waste waiting for deliveries. Plus the £25 voucher that they promise you never arrive and you are told a pack of lies when you ask where they are.

Purchased a cam corder online. Delivery was between 7-10 pm sameday. Received an email at 8pm that it had been cancelled. Called them to rebook advisor booked it in for the following day between 7-10 pm. Delivery did not turn up nor did I receive an email. So 3rd day on I'm calling to rebook and I've been on hold for 45 mins so far and still haven't spoken to any one! Argos I'm appalled!

Absolutely dreadful service. Waited for delivery in vain hope Argos might just do ONE order as promised. Still waiting for delivery and more chance of winning national lottery than getting through to customer service. Not the first time they've failed to deliver an order but for me it'll be the last.

I was foolish enough to believe the advertised 'same day delivery'. What a great service I thought. My watch was off for repair so I used the great idea of 'order by 6pm and deliver by 10pm'. On a Thursday at 4pm I scheduled a new watch for delivery between 7pm and 10pm that day at the cost of just £3.95 for the guaranteed time slot. I sat back with a glass of wine and waited. And waited. And waited. At 11pm I went to bed grumpy. 3 days later (Sunday) the item arrived. Still trusting a well known brand I complained to Argos. Did they sort my issue? Did they provide an explanation? No, they emailed after another week to let me know that 'as a goodwill gesture' they would refund the £3.95. I would say that calling a refund of the money for same day delivery (not achieved) a goodwill gesture is disingenuous, insulting and probably legally questionable. The moral of this story. Argos are not capable of delivering same day, Argos don't care about their customers, Argos will fob you off with whatever bullsh1t they can if you complain. After seeing the 'same day service' advertised I though pt I'd do my Christmas shopping with Argos. Now I've seen their new service in reality.... I'll be shopping at Amazon.

Ordered a couple of small items (rechargeable batteries) and booked a 2-6 sa e day delivery slot. Called customer service at 7pm as the goods had not arrived and was told they were on the delivery van and would be with me shortly. Now it is 10.00am the following day, and still no sign of the delivery. Called customer service again and they offered to rebook it today, i declined and cancelled. No point offering this service if you can' deliver (no pun intended....)

I would like to give my feedback regarding my order. I was very disappointed with the delivery I received a tex saying it would be here by half 12 however I didn't get a call until 3 pm saying the delivery guys were lost down the road this wasn't a problem I gave directions were to go . 10 minutes later I got a call from the guys saying I had made them half an hour late and they was cancelling my order . I replied by saying how I had made them late when they was already 3 hours late with the order . the delivery guy replied "that's not my problem were late , blame Argos " I asked if they could just bring the order anyway they said no I will have to contact Argos he was extremely rude so I asked him his name to make a complaint and he put the phone down on me. Next minute I get a knock on the door I awnserd and asked the guy who he thought he was talking to iv paid for a service and I'm getting abuse he then replied "I no your not talking to me like that " I said "my partner was coming back " as I was a little frightened because they were abusive and I am a pregnant woman alone at home . Next Argos call me and I explained and told them my partner would come through the property and take the order at the lift the lady was very nice to me so I thought I would let it go . Next my partner went to meet them to get the order he expressed he didn't think it was fair the way they had spoke to me my partner said one of the guys started being abit nicer but the other one kept repeating " your lucky your lucky " in a threatening tone . Now what is he lucky for exactly lucky the delivery guy didn't physically attack him . I am disgusted that this has happened were calm people and I was extremely understanding that they were originally 3 hours late but then I was blamed for this from them it was very intimidation we paid for this service and get treated like that I would like to no what Argos are going to do about this and wether I should carry on shopping with them after the threat to my partner I don't think an apology is enough from Argos .

Ordered a present for a three year old's birthday a week before the big day. delivery was specifically promised on a particular day. Of course Argos didn't keep their promise and the gift never arrived so I had one very upset wee girl. When i complained, Argos couldn't give a damn and tried to fob me off with excuses blaming everyone bar themselves. They are pathetic and should be ashamed to be trading as a quality company. Avoid Argos like the plague.

Incompetent and piddle poor service. Clearly unmanned help lines set up just to take 10p a minute from their disgruntled customers. They are a shower of shizzle, Home delivery failed on two attempts.........

item never arrived in the 10am-2pm time slot so I rang Argos. And they said it would arrive by 9pm. Well this was bad enough but it didn't end there. Then at 4pm I received a call telling me that it wasn't going to arrive today at all. The next available time slot was 6 days away. I couldn't do this day so I now have to wait 8 days for my delivery on top of the two weeks I have already waited. If it dosen't arrive on time I will be straight on the phone to cancel and get a refund.

Only giving 1 star as it wont let me leave 0. Shocking company. They don't contact you re deliveries, don't reply to emails and don't pick up their telephones. Getting house renovated and everything else is running smoothly, order a washing machine from Argos and stress levels are through roof and its holding builders up!!! Don't use ARGOS online!!

Quite simply the worst customer service of any company anywhere in the world .... It is ridiculous that a company as big and successful as Argos could have such appauling service It takes over 30 minutes to get through to anyone on a good day and when you do Their advisors are uninterested, rude and generally useless. They immediately either put you on hold for a further 30 minutes minimum I have been on hold for over an hour and 30 minutes or they simply hang up on you after telling you there's nothing they can do. The managers are even worse and it seems that in order to be promoted to manager you have to be the rudest, laziest and most ignorant person in the office. The term customer service is completely wrong for what Argos do in fact it shouldn't be aloud to use this term under the trades description act !!! ARGOS YOU SUCK !!!!

Placed a order for delivery. Order didn't arrive at all. When I phoned to ask were my delivery was. I was told I will have to rearrange for a different day. I found that really bad because I wasn't even made aware that I was not going to have my delivery, despite me leaving them my phone and email details. Really bad service will definitely not use Argos again.
