Terrible customer service, won't accept returns at all even when it's the law. Can't escalate anything as it's down to store staff to make decisions.

Order arrived on the day agreed. Got constant emails a few days before telling me my order was due. Also received messages 2 days before the delivery saying I would get 2 hour delivery window the day before the scheduled delivery which I never received, however at 7.30am on delivery day received a phone call informing me my delivery would be with me around an hours time. Also received a message saying the driver was approximately 16 minutes away and sure enough received my item 20 minutes later. The delivery person's were very helpful with my request of where to put the bulky item where it made it easier for me to manoeuvre. All in all a satisfying experience. Only scored down for the message not received 24 hours earlier stating an expected delivery window but that's being ultra picky.

I found out that the blender wasn't what I expected. Return was rejected. And the item was useless to me

Their customer support is possibly the worst I've experienced online. Not only does their 'Chat bot' repeat the same questions (how many times do I need to tell them my name, email address and order number?!), their human support doesn't do what they say will. I requested a change of delivery and was told that the change had been processed. Later that day I get an email saying that they had attempted delivery at the previous time and that the order was now refunded as it couldn't be delivered. Completely useless.

Bought a Habitat Odeon sofa bed in grey. Got it half price for just under £150. Delighted with it. Easy to assemble, just screw in 5 legs and then click clack the bed to make a sofa or down to make a bed. The bed is ideal for 1 person and I will use a topper on it for comfort.. Thank you Argos, delighted with it ...

I just bought a bike with price of £160, but today I found the price dropped to £128, I spoke to customer service on the phone, also chatted with customer service agent on the online chat, both confirmed that I had the right to get the price difference, I only needed to go to Argos shop to get this refunded. I then went to Argos Ringwood shop at 24 Meeting House Ln, Ringwood BH24 1EY explained the case but the man in the counter told me I had to bring the bike to him! I said to him the bike is assembled already, and I also spoke to the customer service on the phone and online chat, both occasions no one told me I need to bring the assembled bike to the shop! I also tried to show him the online chat record, he simply did not bother, just insisted on “you have to bring the bike here” to prove you have bought it!” What a non-sense! He can check the record from his computer, why I need to bring the bike to him? What if I bought a fridge-freezer? should I bring it back as well? Is that Argos policy or his policy? Was he just making things difficult?! I told him what the customer service on the phone and the online chat agent told me that no need to bring the bike to the store, but he simply said “They can say whatever they wanted, but I won’t listen to that, you need to bring the bike here, otherwise you may go to other shops to get the price difference again!” ----this is so ridiculous! How could Argos’s customer service counter say this to a customer in such a nasty way? How could a customer go to different store to get price difference just because they don’t bring the bike? Argos system is right there to check if the customer claimed the price difference already, once claimed they won’t be able to claim again, how could that counter man said this to a customer?! This is disrespectful and insult! I have all the right to get the price difference! But I don’t deserve to be treated like a cheater! So disgusting! Argos need to train your staff to behave and respect, not treat customers like thief!

Poor customer service the call centre is based in China advisor's keep disconnecting calls l received a faulty item and it had truly been a stressful experience l was not able to speak to a manager or escalate my complaint each time requested to speak to a manager the same advisor was on the phone pretending to be a manager in the end l had it to write to them and get trading standards involved it was a long stressful process argos l would never recommend not reliable

I watched my life savings vanish in three months because of this platform. Every penny I had worked for was gone. Hope faded with each passing day. I felt trapped and had no way out. Ordered a storage unit for garden tools. Box looked to have been re-sealed - I suspect having been returned by another customer. Plastic frame is twisted, screws not in box - still just about useable, but poor quality.

Three times now I've ordered on click and collect, travelled into town to collect my order only to be told they don't have it yet. How is that click n collect? Now I have to wait up to 5 days for a refund. It's fraud

Atrocious delivery service, contemptuous customer service. I would urge anyone reading this to avoid Argos delivery of large kitchen items. Their drivers are rude, have a very short time window and fail to deliver the services they were paid to do. Customer service procedures are not followed, getting any level of refund or compensation for inconvenience is unacceptably complicated and slow. I was misinformed on multiple occasions in the process, and in the end told that I had no further rights as a consumer. Me having to contact the Consumer Rights Ombudsman for services not rendered is evidence of the contempt with which Argos holds its customers. Avoid.
