Asda delivered missed items, and substitutes that were handed back to the driver as unsuitable. The Refunds team refused to refund , even though I have cctv footage of the delivery guy taking back the returned substitutes -- 8 calls - no joy. Pathetic customer service and they taking my money

Almost impossible to get in touch with Customer Service for the Rewards app (which doesn't work). Block off half a day if you want to call them.

So I use to buy my groceries at ASDA (store and online) I normally would ask for delivery at home, and sometimes would actually go to the shop. After 1.5 years of ordering online, today I moved to Tesco. The service to deliver at home wasn't perfect (they failed 4 times before) but last weekend, they not only failed to deliver, but also the driver said it was "delivered" on the system. Right away I called the customer service and they said "sorry sorry"...but nevertheless my account was charged 80 pounds. 2 days later I called, same thing, "sorry sorry", and after 3 days I had to call AGAIN, saying the money wasn't on my account and only then they confirmed that all was clear and the money would be transferred. Missing a delivery, saying it was delivered, charging me, making me make 3 phone calls asking for my money.....tell me, is this a company who value their clients? Oh of course they didn't give any compensation or anything. just a big "bugger off", so I understand and today was my first day doing the monthly groceries with Tesco. You treat your customers like this and I hope you will lose them

After 4 years of not using Asda groceries I though I will give it a go. What a terrible mistake. Almost all of fresh veg was broken, dry, mouldy...you name it. All unusable and hit the bin the minute it arrived. Customer service refunded 1/3 of it but 2/3 have been given as e-vouchers. 4x calling regarding this issue and every time different story. Today I spoke to Neil from contact centre....totally rude, unhelpful refusing to let me talk to a manager.... 22 minutes on a call and I am still waiting... Asda obviously have TONS OF COMPLAINTS to deal with. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE. AVOID

1 star is generous.... ASDA Delivery should in fact be illegal. Certainly from the driver we had.... Turned up over 2 hours late after we paid for 'express delivery'. I was quite shocked to see when they finally arrived, they turned up in a car. It is beyond food and higene standards and is not allowed in the UK. To sell frozen and refrigerated food which hasnt been kept in a cold temperature, I.e. a car. the food is likely to go off and give food poisoning. Not only this, the driver chucked the food out of his car and left it OUTSIDE IN THE POURING RAIN. Disgraceful. Obviously we complained and ASDA said this is OK as it wasnt their driver. Then after hours of arguing on the phone they finally admitted it was their fault and would give us a full refund. Great I thought... until the refund didnt come. Now they are lying and saying it didn't happen. I am raising awareness everywhere I can and rest assured ASDA- you have been reporting to trading standards. I ask everyone to do the same and shut this shambles of a service down until they learn how to run a delivery business.

Placed my order for home delivery, I'm disabled, but today got a text to say cancelled. But at my allotted time slot the Driver arrived, I said cancelled by Asda, he checked his van and nothing for me. So why was my order cancelled, driver was not happy either.

Ordered food to be delivered from Asda in brynmawr over 2 weeks ago that never showed up, got in contact with them and they said one of our neighbors must have taken it in and said we would have a full refund in 5-7 working days. Thought that’s was appalling considering our shopping came to almost £100 and we had to wait. So then the money never went in called last week and they said the refund was still going through and they would chase it up. Only to have an email today to say we won’t be receiving a refund because the shopping was delivered to someone even though it wasn’t to our house. So basically they are saying we can’t have a refund even though we never received our shopping just they can’t prove we received it only that it was delivered in our area🤔🤬🤬

3years housebound and self isolating with all shopping done via Asda delivery. Ordered two types of bread none came although substitutes allowed so any type of bread would do. Asda has no bread available as substitutes according to customer services. This is a lie. No huge supermarket has no bread available. Was told to order some on next delivery- so we have no bread this week. Their customer services department sucks.

Asda Superstore, Redditch. Unless you're a tech genius don't bother with this store. Almost all the manned checkouts have been replaced by self-service that require you to scan some stupid code with your smart phone - no explanation - just notices telling you to do it. Almost everyone trying to check out was struggling and needed help. If you don't have a smart phone or, like me, you have no idea how to scan the stupid code you'll have to join a mile long queue for a checkout operated by a person. I often use the self-service checkouts at Morrisons without the need to scan a stupid code. Asda - you don't get to tell me what I must or must not do with my phone - it's not yours it's mine - so you can just do one and I'll do my shopping elsewhere.

Disgraceful Store .Wont ever be shopping at any Asda store ever again . Unfortunateley picked up a £40 parking fine here at the Burnley Store 24/10 22 after parking for 40 minutes . Had to return 2 hours later as forgot some item of shopping so parked @10 mins The cameras picked up the car and mistakenly said wed been there for 2 hours 45 mins . It would appear that the technology is flawed . Please other shoppers be warned Asda are allowing Shoppers to be ripped off by their car park Management company .

ASDA KINGSWOOD HULL had no operator tills working 3 weeks ago at 08.30, was told they would not be working until 09.15. We had to use self- serve with a trolley full. We are both pensioners and my wife has severe arthritis of both knees and walks with sticks. Every 2nd. item the scanner stopped, the assistant ended up putting it all through (kept stopping for her), items were falling on the floor DISGUSTING! Complained with 2 e-mails and by letter, not response.

Ordered online delivery, time due 4pm-5pm yesterday (2/11/22). At 6pm I range customer services, after 45 minutes on hold the operative (based in South Africa - I asked where they were) told me there was a delay but to expect the delivery by 8pm. The online website tracker stated it was on its way until 10pm when it changed to - It is unlikely we’ll get your order to you now. Someone should have been in touch. If not, you can contact us here. No-one had contacted me and I wasn’t going to ring customer services again The order must be coming from South Africa ……. What appalling customer service Asda, all you needed to do was contact me and let me know what was happening rather than let me wait all night -especially after being given a total misrepresentation by your staff stating that it was still on its way. I have sympathy for the Customer Sevices and drivers, however the management at Asda are clearly not up to the job if this is how they treat customers.

Since removing the use by dates on fresh food to 'reduce waste' we have been sent mouldy fruit on 2 occasions, with that and the price of everything sky rocketing and the endless subs/not available it may be time I start shopping elsewhere

Went in to buy a birthday cake from the bakery during my lunch hour. I arrived at 12:10pm. The bakery was unstaffed so I approached several Asda “colleagues” and the response was “sorry, not my department” every time. I walked to Customer Service who promised to put a call out over the PA. She did not! I stood outside the bakery until 13:00 when someone arrived to start their shift. By this time my lunch break was over. I decided to wait for the cake and got back to work late, still not having eaten my lunch. When I enquired about the cake I told them I would be popping in at lunchtime and no one told me that staff would be absent. Why was there no sign stating “out to lunch” or “closed”?
