“First of all the guy making the drinks had in a very dirty top covered in splashes .that didn’t bode well with me . Second of all ,
The decaf tea was awful. Very bitter I couldn’t drink it .
And thirdly , I don’t know what they’ve done to their cheese and ham toasty as it was absolutely disgusting. The cheese looked like sick, and the so called ham looked like a plastic pice of ham . I physically couldn’t eat it . But I didn’t want to seem rude to my guest as they had paid for my meal . I ate the crusts. And left the tea after a few sips . Coming here has reminded me why I don’t like eating here .
Never again . Awful . And even the shortbread biscuits were awful .”

“If I had the option to rate this place with 0 stars then I would. Myself and another relative both had food poisoning from eating meat at Costa Coffee Stanley Green Retail Park, Cheadle Hulme, a few weeks ago (April 2023) (Vomiting, diarrhoea, body aches and headache.) I'm Type 1 Diabetic and ended up having to stay in hospital due to the fact I couldn't stop vomiting and had diarrhoea; both of which had a massive impact on my blood sugars. I had a high level of ketones in my blood (ketones are life threatening) so I was put onto 2 different drips. Numerous doctors confirmed I had food poisoning from this Costa due to the symptoms and the fact the food I'd eaten here was meat.
After a week of feeling like absolute rubbish, I finally started to feel better. My stomach was still off but I was managing to finally eat small amounts without being sick and having diarrhoea.
Myself and my family won't eat/drink at any Costa Coffee anymore as we've been completely put off from this experience”
“Got a reward saying you have a free drink popcorn Frappe in your Rewards then when you go and try to claim it they tell you need to buy it they tell you it happens to other people turning up to get the embarrassing when everyone is watching you what a joke”

“The costa attached to the next shop in Bangor Gwynedd. Me and my father with type 2 diabetic went in about 6:08 pm on 20th may. As we were taking about what we wanted the lady behind the till (early 50s) interrupted us abruptly and said "sorry you cant have hot food or cold coffee as we are closing in 30 minutes and all of our machines are off" we were both in shock and annoyed with the way she greeted us. My dad explained "well I need something as I am feeling a little faint with type 2 diabetic and 30 minutes is enough time". She then Said sorry we can't do anything for you but take away hot drinks and cold snacks... We were both disgusted with her manners. We understand they wanted to finish but come on there is a way to talk to people and at least show some empathy. She should not be in a customer facing role with this attitude.”

“Went into Costa in Rochdale today,asked if I could use the toilet while showing my medical card. Was still refused,expected me to buy a coffee before they would allow me. Will be calling head office and reporting them to where I got my card from”
“Come here many times, the stuff is always friendly and helpful, they always cleaning the tables after customers have left. The coffee and the food is good. But I don't like it when they use always the same cloth to clean the machine where they froat the milk for the drinks. That's really a bacteria breader!”

“Awful place, the staff need training in Customer Services, especially the female employee, I purchased a coffee on the 5th of May, the attitude from the female employee regarding me wanting an extra cup, because my takeaway cup was so hot, I couldn’t hold it, all I got was a dirty look and she said they are double insulated they are okay, really this is the way to treat a customer !”
“they didn’t let me use the toilet because I wasn’t buying anything, but i was literally bleeding no joke, they were very rude and we told her it’s an emergency but they still said we needed to PAY to use the TOILET?! ridiculous.”
