I can see why the reviews are so bad for Grubhub. If you are even lucky enough to get the right order it’s becoming a miracle. I ordered no contact delivery and they were supposed to leave it at my door and then contact me. They just put it on the door and left. No contacting me and didn’t even bother to ring the doorbell. I’m going to suggest to the restaurants I order from to switch to DoorDash.

A few of us hospital employees ordered from grub hub. 3 hours later we were told our order was canceled. The driver did not want to come in the lobby and did not contact us to meet him outside. We did not eat lunch because our lunch breaks were over and everything was closed. If they don't want to deliver to hospitals and told us that we would have ordered somewhere else. Despicable!

Ordered from GrubHub at Saltgrass Steak House in Parker,Co. I got text that I would receive order soon. I received 3 phone calls from an out-of-state number which I didnt recognize and didnt answer. When I realized it was them. I tried to return call with no answer. Voicemail was full. Never received order. But tracking said it was delivered. Never got the food. Had to yell at customer service when they offered me a 50% discount on my next order. They finally cancelled my order and refunded my money to my credit card. Happy Birthday to me! Enjoyed a hot dog!

These drivers don't even check the order. It's pretty annoying to order food, wait an hour and then it's delivered wrong. I guess it's the price we pay for convenience...if you want the food you order to be right when it gets home, pick it up yourself.

I am appalled by the behavior of the delivery driver. The address of delivery was missed typed by 1 number some time ago and the system won't delete it. So instead of the driver calling and confirming the address, the driver figured out the address and delivered it. She yelled throughout the apartment, "did you order a delivery? You ordered a delivery? You have got to be kidding." When I opened the door she yelled at me about the delivery. Didn't take the tip. That was fine because she didn't deserve the larger tip I had for her in cash. She never called me. Never talked to me. She chose to yell and at like ghetto trash. Horrible customer service! And when I called to complain about the behavior (not the late delivery) all They did was throw discounts at me. Grub Hub is horrible with customer service! Either because the company is threatening their staff over on time deliveries or they don't care who they hire. Sick and sad!

Every time I order there is a problem. They do not have a range for certain drivers so most of the times drivers are coming from crazy areas and do not know where to go. They constantly are delaying times and are not consistent. Horrible service I’ve order multiple times and always try to give them a second chance but it’s not worth it. I’d rather use seamless, door dash or Uber eats.

Grub Hub USED to be pretty decent. I'd get my food in a timely manner. The food was as i wanted it to be. Hardly any complaints... But last night they single handily(?) managed to completely mess up my order, and when my sister called customer support/service they came off as rude. I guess we got a refund, but like... would've been nice to know what exactly happened to my food. We received another person's (some guy named Sean) order, after having the delivery delayed for who know what. We only realized when we saw food we didn't order, and the other receipt in the bag WITH my receipt. Only part of MY order we got were the drinks basically. Couldn't contact the person who delivered the food, because maybe for some reason he was delivering two people's orders at the same time?? idek. but like probably the Taco Bell I ordered from's fault too, for whoever was the clown that put my receipt in Sean's bag with his food. i only ordered like 2 entrees (one with some add ons), 2 cinnamon twists and two drinks. How you gonna mess that up with the seven items that definitely costed more on Sean's order?? also ALSO there was no way for me to apply the free delivery option for making an order of over $15 dollars while using grubhub. I mean unless they stopped free delivery, but if so... maybe change your freaking ad?? such a stressful experience. never using grubhub again. Probably not gonna order from that specific taco bell either. smh

I have made the mistake of ordering from Grub Hub more than once trying to give them the opportunity to improve each time I've found myself disappointed. It is nothing but mistake after mistake and excuses after excuse. This time the driver marked my food delivered as she was still in another town. Grub Hub reaches out to me for a survey thinking the food was delivered and when they found out it wasn't instantly offered me a refund that I have to wait 5 days for and didn't bother doing anything with the order or replacing the food. DO NOT ORDER from GRUB HUB. Great concept horribly run business and customer service!

NEVER use grub hub. i waitied over 2 hours for a stupid whopper meal from 1 mile from my house and never came. I was watching on their real time delivery update website the time getting longer and longer. i ended up calling and canceling my order. It will take 3-5 business days to get my refund. If you really want to eat in a timely fashion use a different delivery company

We ordered with Grubhub from a local restaurant that they had on their site. About 15 minutes before our order was to be delivered we received a text that the order had been cancelled. There was no explanation or reason. When we called the restaurant, osteria, they told us they did not have a contract for delivery with Grubhub. Grubhub charged our credit card and now say they will refund the money within 5 days. Unacceptable!! We got sucked in by Grubhub offering a $10 discount. Extremely frustrating as we then had to start over and go pick up our food for the evening.

Honestly I don’t know why I continue to use this service. Some of these drivers leave the food at your front door and don’t even knock to let you know when it’s there. My biggest irritante is that my soda is almost ALWAYS missing. This last order....they left the soda right in front of the door so that when I open the door the soda spills. AND TGIS IS NOT THE FORST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED!!!! Ow stupid can you possibly be? This is the last time! Because you can’t even call or send a suggestion or complaint. I had to find this website. I swear to God fix your issues or their will be a ban on your stupid half ass service.

I have yet to have a good experience from this food delivery service. I’ve had nothing but cold food and wrong orders left and right. The drive was 10 minutes. I’m paying you to deliver my food. I had to text my driver because the order was ready 40 minutes before he picked it up.

I'd give zero if possible. Ordered a pizza at 5:15 it was suupsed to arrive at 6:05, then 6:15, 6:30, 6:40 7pm, 7:30, 7:45... finally called the restaurant, the driver had left without our order, when I called they said the order had been cancelled, not by us..... YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grub Hub is HORRIBLE! If you look at the Grub Hub app, it states that your delivery time is between 45 minutes to 55 minutes (most of the time for us), Problem is, when you place your order, the restaurant you are ordering from receives your order the moment you pay Grub Hub & they begin to cook it. Problem is... The food SITS under a warmer (if your lucky) until Grub Hub arrives to pick it up. Who wants a taco from Taco Bell that has been sitting around for 35 minutes (giving grub hub 10-20 minutes to deliver). We received taco's that where so soggy & cold, that we ended up throwing it away. Called Taco Bell & they took my name & offered free replacement of our order next time we wanted Taco Bell (this time we'll pick it up). Thank you Taco Bell, shame on you Grub Hub. Every time we have ordered from grub hub our food is delivered cold. Their delivery drivers drag their feet in picking up your meal. Don't believe me? I wish I could give 0 stars for some of the service we received. Twice our food says it has been delivered only to find it has not. When you call or text the driver they do not reply or were surly. Customer service is not helpful either, you may get a refund down the line but you have been inconvenienced by something that you pay extra for. Not cool Grub Hub!!

I order for 1st time, several time time of delivery time changed. 90 mins later got email that my order was delivered. I called the driver went to voice mail. I text the driver said that she delivered it where Grubhub sent her per there app. I told her she delivered it to wrong place. She replied to my text to "stop harassing her." Then a few mins later she texted "Some people have no food at all be greatful" This driver does not know me how dare she treat a customer this way. I contacted customer service they refunded me my money. But still I had no food.

Grubhub is horrible. I wish there was a way to give 0 Stars. We ordered our meal from KFC at 7:13 p.m. on Mother's Day. The confirmation email said it would be delivered at 8:19 p.m. then we got another email that said it would be delivered at 8:24 p.m. at 8:50 p.m. I called KFC to find out that it had not even been picked up yet. I called GrubHub and after three people finally got a manager to talk to me about my order. He said that the driver had picked it up at 8:52 p.m. at which I told him about the other emails. Then I thought to have him hold and I called the manager KFC by this time it's 9:15 p.m. and she confirmed that the driver had not picked it up yet. At this point there is nothing that the GrubHub manager could say or do he obviously has drivers that cannot be counted on and drivers that lie. Now after reading the other reviews I understand why GrubHub has two stars. I will never use them again and neither should you. On the upside KFC manager made sure that we had a warm meal. Did not charge us for it. Kudos to KFC

Second time using grub hub. First time they cancelled order for no reason. Restaurant said grub hub was doing that all day. We had to go pick up our order at perkasie Pizza and pasta in Perkasie pa. Just ordered this evening for Mother’s Day and didn’t get it til well over an hour and one entree was missing. The most expensive item... crab cake... $18.99. I called the restaurant and they said it was sent electronically but grub hub didn’t send the crab cake. But yet we were charged for it. We are still waiting for it and I ordered at 5:30 pm and called at 7 pm. They said the crab cake would be here in an hour and it’s still not here. Totally

GrubHub is more of a problem with the drivers than platform. With the COVID-19 pandemic, it's hard to get in touch with someone who can help you when things go wrong (which 50% of my orders have). Had multiple orders either canceled after an hour and a half, stolen, or never delivered. The last time this happened (no delivery), I contacted support. After asking for an order cancellation, they lied and told me it would take 15 minutes for my order to come yet they told me the order was READY for pickup. It takes more than 15 minutes for the driver to travel from the place to my apartment let alone to get to the place and pickup the order. I pointed this out to them and asked once again for a cancellation which prompted them to cancel and refund me for the order.
