Lidl at first was not to bad, was able to talk to staff in swansea store, but during the last few month their store has been a pain to shop at, due to a member of staff having personal issues while I shop there, I made complaint to Lidl to how their staff treated me and now every visit can be on edge, they look, watch and talk to each other through their microphone, leting everyone know you made a complaint about one of their staff members so customer service has gone down hill when I shop there now, they are now rude towards me, but seem fine to others, this shows that they dont respect me shopping there.

been cheated and overcharged yet again. went to kelso store yesterday and bought 4 items . including some milk which was set at a reduced price. after arriving home from a 10-mile bus trip, I noticed on my receipt I had been charged full price for the milk, I normally check my receipt before leaving shops but was in a hurry for the bus. this has happened at this store before and they don seem to take the inconvenience of having to return to the store for a refund seriously enough, and put it down as a little mistake, but because they're not taking the care at the till to scan the correct bar code, id say its more like reckless carelessness, cheating and misleading customers, and against trading Standards legislation. will be keeping the unused milk that clearly shows the reduced price and the receipt as proof . im fed up of getting cheated at this store. beware and always make sure they give you a receipt and check it before you leave, or Report to Trading Standards. any overcharging is classed as misleading and against trading Standards legislation.

Bought a toaster 1st September 2019 in Lidl. On 25th August 2020 when just under a year old it was faulty and not working. It had a 3 year warranty. Have e mailed many times with no response, then when I did get a reply they wanted my receipt which I sent a copy but still heard nothing. Phoned customer service and after holding on phone for 25 mins to speak to someone they said they would send me a letter to take with toaster to the shop to get a refund. Letter never came. Have e mailed many more times but am getting nowhere. I have even sent a letter to head office by signed delivery but they have not answered. LIDL ON PRICE , LIDL ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. What more can I do to get refund! Will not be purchasing anything else from them.

I bought a silvercrest vacuum cleaner in September 2019 with a 3year warranty the power brush stopped working after 1 year 1 month went to Lidl in kelso was told more than a year old would have to contact consumers services they put me through to manufacture how said the power brush was not part of vacuum cleaner and was not covered by warranty so 3 year warranty is only one year and I do not understand how the power brush is not part of the vacuum have you tried vacuuming the floor with out the brush.lidls 3 year warranty is rubbish

New App waste of time! I’ve experienced the same as others have said .. I’ve not had one offer applied by using the app . £1 scratch card win ,20% discount nuts, Pizza discount. It encourages you to buy the products then you don’t get the discount. Causes a faff with the speed of the tills for no benefit. I’m deleting mine ! Wish you would get back to your core values you are not M&S!

New Lidl store on Rope Walk, Bedford. Staff at till pulling mask down under chin whilst serving customers. Customers walking round store with masks under nose and actually pulling mask right down on occasion. Surely this is against the law with the Covid restrictions. Come on Lidl managers, supervise your staff and pull customers up for not abiding by the law.

Wont be shopping with Lidl again Wont be shopping with Lidl again, i went last week to get a bottle of Voka where i sore some one i new, him and his girlfriend were also looking at the drink when they went to get served they were refused because they did not have their id, i was also at the check out, where i was also refused to be served even though i told them that what i was buying was for me not them, i am 59 so its a good chance it was not because i did not have id. This same sales person i had had annoyed me a few weeks before, i had gone to the self service with a £9.99 bottle of vodka where i found i had not got my debit card in my pocket ( self service is card only ) so i asked could i pay cash at the check out where this sales person turned around and said have you got the money to pay for it. no i dont look like i dont have two pennies to rub together. SO MORAL IS DONT TALK TO ANY BODY YOU KNOW IN LIDL OR YOU MIGHT GET REFUSED TO BE SERVED. i put a complaint in which i know they received as i got an autoresponder now over 2 weeks later that is all i have received.

Lidl Plus App Downloaded it twice as is didn’t work the first time. Says vouchers out of date when still days to run, won’t work at the till, won’t record my spend and even causes an error code at the till! I would rather Lidl stuck to low prices at the till rather than manipulating us with so called loyalty cards - counterproductive. Also does ok without gimmicks!

The Lidl plus rewards scheme is absolute rubbish. My £100 monthly spend wasn’t registered apparently even though I scanned the app each time I shopped. I miss out on my £2 reward voucher which means I will now be shopping elsewhere..... when i queried it then didn’t want to know. Terrible customer service ☹️

Went to ashington branch today at 10am.There was no sanitiser or wipes outside for the trolleys and hands.Went inside and there were plastic baskets all over the place. No sanitiser or wipes there either.Baskets look as if they have never been cleaned since the day they were put in.On your self bake shelves l have actually witnessed people poking the uncovered bread with their fingers .The hygiene is abysmal at this shop,l dont know how they get away with it.l used to shop there a lot ,but no more.

Why is it that Lidls never have enough tills open? You never get served quickly! Today I stood in a queue with a full trolley in front. The CSA waited until she was almost finished with the full trolley before asking for assistance, despite a queue down the aisle. Two customers behind me then got served at the other till before I was served. This is a regular occurrence at the Prestonpans store in East Lothian and quite frankly I think I would rather shop at another local store, even though they have less choice and are a bit more expensive, as this is very frustrating not only for the waiting customers but stressful for the customer being served as they then feel they have to rush. In light of social distancing many customers having to gather at the till should not be happening...it also blocks aisle and makes it difficult for others to pass by and continue with their shopping. I would appreciate if it was a very busy period and all tills were busy but it wasn't and the CSA waited until she had cleared the bulk shop before getting assistance. Are they not allowed to open additional tills unless there are a certain amount of customers waiting (even when there are staff available) or is the system needing to be reviewed and amount of shopping needs to be considered. The CSA should be able to read the situation and get support quicker.

New Oscott Store. Filthy floors, shelves and always isles are blocked with stock waiting to be placed on shelves. Empty box rubbish left in isles in front of stock - can not get to shelves Never freshly filled/stocked shelves even at 8am in morning on Fridays or Saturdays the busiest time for weekly shop. Staff don't seem to care. No stock half the time due to the computer type of ordering instead of Manager placing stock order. Trolleys not cleaned. Used to love this store - not any more will be shopping somewhere else in future.

The Lidl app is not working to get 20% of overall shopping off. Just spent over £70 on weekly grocery shop at Lidl Warrington. Tried to use my Lidl app to get £5 off The cashier said the server is off And you can't get your discount off. So I have contacted the official Lidl customer service number in one of their leaflets, I spent over 40 minutes listening to spam about how good Lidl is on price and customer service. (Well if they would of picked up the phone and spoke to me it would of)! Yet Lidl have huge poster on the side of the shop saying save 20%. Enforcing Use the Lidl app. The Lidl app is off. So your spending more money to get money off. And the Lidl app doesn't work. It's quite a con, it really is.

Lidl cambridge, us the worst lidl i have ever visited. So far 3 times i have been and had to unload my shopping on a belt&leave as the queues are so long, the young inexperienced till operator a young girl that all she could say is that i can't hear you to every customer. This time i stood in the queue n complained to a member of staff about a long queues in this covid time. I will never visit cambridge lidl again i rather go to Huntington or st neots despite the fact that i live in cambridge, i kniw at least another 6 house holds who are doing the same. I have been to lidl in Spain, germany all over uk, Brighton & Eastbourne, never seen a lidl managed so badly n till staff so rude, i mean one of the girls. If could rate it 0 i would.

My Husband and myself went to the Lidl store in Leamington Spa yesterday. As we approached the checkout there were 4 operators on, but 2 were closing. There were 2 ladies at the checkout with large trollies full and at the other checkout it was the same-we had 6 items. My husband asked the chap on checkout 2 if he could put ours through as we only had a few things. He pointed out the open checkouts, which he said he knew, but thought the idea was to get in a shop be served and leave asap (this is only the 4th time we have been in a shop since lockdown). He wasn't having any of it and walked off. We were waiting in a queue having a private conversation about the availability of staff and our checkout operator, Becci, piped up he had to get tills ready for other people to come on at 2pm and that he finished at 4-don't know why we needed to know that. She had no right to comment, but she did. My husband told her he was not concerned about this, was concerned about getting served and getting out of the shop. Her colleague then came to take over the till and she told her as plain as day 'there's an a******* at the end of the queue'. We obviously made it known we were unhappy with being called that and asked for the manager-Jasper-who had been on the till that wouldn't put our shopping through. When we told him a member of staff called my husband an a******* he said had we of talked to him in a friendly manner previously he would have gone out of his way to deal with it. Nothing to do with it, someone working in a shop should keep that kind of opinion to themselves and not say it in front of the customer. Neither one of them said sorry and Jasper was going out of his way to be obstructive. Manager-really? I have reported this to head office in fairness only yesterday after the incident so we will see what happens!

The state of the freezers was unbelievable, looked like someone had thrown a hand grenade in them, boxes and packets in total disarray. Large empty cages in the aisles, forcing customers to squeeze past, no social distancing possible. A very long wait at the checkout, lengthy queues and only two tills open. What's gone wrong Lidl? It used to be a pleasure shopping there but sadly no longer the case.

We live in Bristol and all stores pretty good. On holiday in Cromer and can’t believe this store. No limit on numbers of customers it was packed. Only 3 checkouts open any queue was horrendous in each ours had 20 in it which meant customers were having to lean over us to get items on shelves it was horrendous
