“I bought the new grass seeds with a bag of fertiliser did what was told to do I used one box on two patches I had nothing happened after 5 weeks I tried the other box did nothing I would call it usless save your money as you used it up so can't send it back wasted all my time and money.”
“Attached below is a letter receive d from QVC, yes I admit I return most of the time, but my reasons are all valid, I buy with hope will fit,I buy 18/20 on the high street which always fit, I started with that but mostly all do not fit, so decided to size up to 22 but still no fit some can’t even get into them, plus the materials look cheap as mostly polyester, but clothes expensive, these are not designer label, Gucci, Chanel etc are these are mostly tv personalities or aged design people who end up on QVC, plus you offer 60 days return if not happy or don’t fit, now you send me threatening letter to close account because I exercised my 60 days return, as you don’t want me to send back,I have been a loyal customer fir long time, if item is good I will keep. On that note a new brand you have Apricot which is good price and good quality size 18 always fits me.I am disappointed to receive such a letter, don’t offer 60 days return if you really don’t want the customer to return if they are unhappy with item.”
“Have tried twice for someone to reply to why I would be charged delivery for each vest t shirt all in same basket on Ruth Langford tv
If I got a message on air I would of sent it in to her on tv”
“Agree with another comment. Why now to the guests walk over to the models, and start pulling, pinching and poking at the item she is wearing, find it offensive, details can be read out.Every guest now does it, Glen and Ruth the worst.”
“QVC I'm ANGRY. Been a loyal customer if 20 years. However I'm now registered disabled with other health problems. Up until 2 years ago when we had a wonderful Hermes delivery driver delivery was brilliant. He would put a parcel in my safe place and card me. Never ever did anything go missing. However, our wonderful delivery driver Darren suddenly passed away. 😢 Since then deliveries have been a nightmare. I have a note on the door, it's been there over 2 year's explaining mobility issues, please leave in safe place, small black bin in covered side entrance. Do they do this NO. I have had Hermes, now Evri drop on step in full view of passers by with no card posted to say delivery has been made. Parcels have been dropped in my Recycling bins which are on the front for anyone to look into. Not carded so how do I know they're there. So Parcels have gone missing. One time they had been dropped in Recycling bins on the Friday, no card, dustmen came Monday and away went my parcels into the back of the dustbin collection vehicle. No card has ever been left by Evri on delivery if I've not answered the door. There is also a separate note in porch window saying please give me chance to get to door. I've continuously complained to QVC for 2 year's and more that Evri are not doing their job correctly or even following instructions when they're large type printed in my porch window. So a month ago I received a letter from QVC saying that all parcels are to be signed for. Instead of telling Evri to do their job correctly I feel I've been penalised into a service that was convenient to me, and where QVC parcels never went astray when my method of delivery was adhered to. Sometimes if upstairs I can't get to the front door quickly. I've spoken to a driver and through bedroom window saying if you pop on step I'm on my way downstairs to retrieve, save you waiting on me. He was so rude, put the parcel above his head arms right outstretched and said "No, not leaving" got in his van and drove off. I reported and have reported ALL instances to QVC of which they said they would deal with, so they say!!! I've tried to cope for past 6 weeks with getting to door to sign for parcels, most I've managed but times when I've been in shower I can't get there. I called QVC to explain the difficulty I was having regards signing for parcels when there's a perfectly good safe place that has worked for many year's if only drivers follow porch door instructions. I was spoken to with attitude from a young woman in their finance department. I wasn't spoken to, but shouted at telling me that this decision will not be reversed and I have to sign for parcels. I tried to explain all the inconvenience and stress this was causing me but she kept talking/ shouting over me. In the end I said " may I finish what I'm saying please" she let me finish then started her authoritive raised voice again. I was devastated, the money I have spent inside 20 years and this is how I was treated. The reason I kept complaining about Evri deliveries was to save QVC money in the first place. If Evri had followed instructions this would not be an issue. Have to say, some of the delivery drivers can just about speak English, so it amazes me that they most likely can't read. They rely on putting postcode in Satnav and getting to destination. How can this be? I will not be ordering another single item from QVC and they should come down on their chosen Logistics instead of treating their loyal disabled customers so badly. Online shopping is my life. I'm angry, upset and hurt that QVC are treating people this way. But on reading other posts seems I'm not on my own. You need to up your Customer Service QVC.”
“I absolutely love QVC from presenter’s, customer service, quality I could go on and on.
However, In the last couple of months presenter’s have now started to combine their selling presentations with the model’s.
The presenter’s walk over to individual model’s and start pulling and touching the materials, or tweaking collars and cuff’s whilst the model’s are trying to do their job. I think it’s quite unnecessary and not needed to sell the item. I also think it comes across that the model’s look uncomfortable with this.
The majority of us can use our imagination and understand that a item with elastic will stretch without having someone coming over and pulling at the model’s sleeve or waist
(Ruth and Glen do this more than any of the other’s)”
“I became a QVC customer back in 2004 and I have to write here that I really enjoyed shopping with them. Very few returns and I mostly bought skincare - Elemis, Gatineau, Liz Earle and L’Occitane. In the last year the quality has gone down. I bought a Wynne layers ‘topper’. It arrived and smelt strongly of stale perfume. To be fair QVC sorted it out and are arranging for it to be collected. This morning I had a phone call asking why I had been returning so much stuff? I had said that the scents of some of these things had changed, but the truth is I just don’t feel the quality is there anymore. It feels like a flipping hard sell on QVC now for substandard products.
I have changed tack in the last three weeks and I am putting things to my Wish List account to try and mitigate some of the returns whilst I decide, but I am a tad annoyed that having to return things that have been worn is just frustrating. Emu boots I had to return four pairs because each and every one was worn! This used stock/items has been going on for the last four years now. Along with the fact that I have sent items back and they have not been received. Recently I have been sending it back Recorded Delivery to make totally sure because it makes me feel that I am fault. Now that the Royal Mail has increased its prices I am very wary.
The customer service ladies are fabulous - never had a bad one and always unfailing polite and helpful, but I will be honest the quality from a lot of these brands is declining and I wonder if there is a two tier aspect that what they produce for QVC is different from their direct sales. I think the Christmas TSV’s still offer outstanding value and maybe that is where I shall stick to.
Just to add that there is published reports online that QVC sales have declined in the last year and that there is a high volume of returns and it may well be that this is the main reason, for that phone call; but that is between the Buyers of QVC and their brands. They cannot expect the customers to pay for muted quality and specifically items that have clearly been worn!”
“I was a customer with QVC for almost 30 years and happy with the shopping experience. The presenters sold the clothing on the basis of buy it, get it home, try it wear it and if you are not happy for whatever reason return it. Last year I had to return some clothing as it was not suitable because of design, shape, material, quality etc. I received a letter from QVC saying I was returning too many products and if I didn’t change my shopping habits they would close my account. What an insult after all those years and the amount of money I have spent. I complained and received a call from the CEO’s office in which my complaint just fell on deaf ears. The caller just went on and on about sizing and getting it right - hardly any of my returns were due to sizing but he didn’t listen. After all this I decided to close my account, I had really had enough of being treated so poorly by this company. I will never shop with them again. Truly awful customer service these days from them. ☹️”
“I purchased block blitz outside cleaner. This product does not do what it says and also has lifted the paint from my decking which was perfectly sound until I applied the block blitz where you could see it the very next day peeling off. It doesn't work either on the drive and block paving where it has just left stains. I rang QVC and because I have used it all except for one bag they have refused me a refund. The product doesn't work so therefore I am not satisfied with it, how else are you supposed to know if it has worked only by using it. VERY ANGRY. QVC says try it if you're not satisfied get a full refund?? Not the case they have refused me a refund because I have used most of it ?? Very Disappointed customer.”
“Think the presenters are on commission as they repeat themselves over & over again about how beautiful & fantastic everything is and such amazing value. Refunds very slow postage way too expensive & have to pay for returns have stopped watching”
“Just been watching MelissaJ what a sight why put skinny tall models who look swamped in these clothes.
They are oversized and one size only and some items quite pricy
Being 14/16 myself I wouldn’t buy these clothes I think they would make me look bigger.
Postage a sore point with me. Also stopping watching QVC now.”
“Leaving 1 star, as i was assured from qvc this price was a bargain @£69.96 + p&p. so i bought 2.
I had them professionally installed at a cost, set up an account with tapo but little did i know tapo at the time was selling alot cheaper, (£89.98 for a twin pack). so i took this up with qvc, they just said we don't do a price match just send the camera's back for a full refund, by this point it would of cost me more to have then taken down to send back, i will be more careful in the future when buying from qvc, thats if i ever use them again!
Plus one of the camera's has a problem with micro sd reader, sometimes unreadable or no sd card inserted (ive used 2 compatible cards) but still getting errors, only way to sort this is to power down camera and restart, works fine for a bit. (You only notice this error with sd card when trying to view past detections) this no good because if any incidents during this time would not record!
I will keep an eye on this issue, and let qvc know before guaranty runs out..”
“Great channel BUT please stop pushing sales for that denim flipn jacket .. we all know how many of them the presenters have now . Do we care ? Borin . Does not suit the dumpy figure oh no .”
“I've been a QVC customer since the start but I now feel they are only selling the big names brands with big prices. I am now extremely annoyed with presenters butting in and chatting with their views in the middle of presentations, I want to hear about the products not the presenters! I am now extremely disappointed that QVC UK are no longer supplying Homeworx candles. They had to get rid of Yankee due to all the complaints and then brought in Homeworx which are great but I now found out this week that they will no longer be supplying them anymore. I certainly will be shopping elsewhere nowadays as QVC are certainly not the same now, the Quality has gone, Value has certainly gone so only left with Convenience sorry QVC you've become too big for your boots and certainly not thinking of your long time customers anymore!”
“Really disappointed with Richard Jackson's new birdfood!! I filled a feeder and 3 days later it was still full while all my other feeders were almost empty or completely empty!! I will not buy any more birdfood from QVC!!”
“Tell Debbie we are fed up with the groaning plates of grub in her photos , Qvc is a great shopping channel but please let’s just view the items and decide whether to purchase . Preferred the days of no blogs . On another note - the refund system is really fast - appreciate that .”
“If your disabled there is no understanding. Kept my funds for some time. The TV never arrived, kept telling me another's 10 days every time I called, when I looked at the reviews everyone else had received their TV within a couple of days, I stated I had health problems and memory loss , instead of picking up the phone kept sending me letters to say my account was on hold. One operator refused to give me CEOs name, this I found difficult, I hadn't even asked for an email as I wanted to hand write the letter. Then I called and paid the instalment and thought that was the end n asked for my account to be closed, I had given her the full credit card number. That was for £12 ish . Then I got a further letter to say my account was on hold, then an arrogant Rebecca from Chief Exec Department wind's me up further saying my facts are not true. When I originally queried what had happened that waw ignored by Chief Executive, asked for a further response. Got nothing back. Breached Equalities Act 2010, I don't think they even know what that means. Wouldn't acknowledge it pompous Rebecca. They had an incorrect card number so instead of calling or asking me the one on file had changed, sent me generated letter. My disabled friend on ordered on my account as she wasn't up to gong on line. That's 2 customers that they have lost. Had been with them over 20 + years. Won't be returning. Service is so poor now, looking at these reviews I can see others feel the same. Hoping I won't be sent anymore letters. Would give them a minus but that's not an option”
