I have been going in store and calling the customer line for assistance with closing my account. I asked for the account to be closed over the phone and the agent advised that that can only be done in store mind you I am in the rurals and it takes me 2 hours to reach the nearest town that has Woolies store. I traveled that weekend and i was told accounts can be closed on weekends and I need to visit during the week. I made arrangements and managed to go back and have the account closed but to my surprise my account was owing (interest charged) I paid it the same day and I was advised to call the customer line for closure as there is no need to come inside the store (that was news to me). I called on 26th March 2024 and I was advised that it could take a couple of days for me to receive communication of closure so I should be on the look out for the correspondence. I received an e-mail only stating that my insurance plan on the account has been closed but not the account. I called the following day and another agent said the exact same thing and when I asked for a team leader to assist they promised to get back to me, which they did not. I called again on 02-04-2024, the agent asked my close to 12 security questions that answered truthfully and asked me another set and I answered them again but to my surprise i failed authentication and now she can not check whether or not my account was successfully closed. She said she will escalate the matter after I burst out with anger, demanding my account to be closed. She promised to email the department that was supposed to close the account but till today the 9th April no communication has been made to me regarding my request. The 14th is approaching and I know interest will go off the account which will mean I will be liable to pay before closing the account. Please help I am unemployed, i need minimal debt as possible.

Long queue and manger and staff stand around chatting until I had to ask for another till to be opened . Only 2 tills were originally opened and people stood with trolleys filled to the brim

My mom drove around to find the box of Caramel Flavored Marshmallow eggs. The box says the marshmallow is coated with chocolate and the marshmallow tastes like caramel. When I tasted it, I did not taste any caramel. I only tasted the chocolate. I would like to return my box.

We bought 3 meals ar Engen Lenchen in Centurion, we made the spinash and butternut and discover a fly in the food, see attach photos. Did contact Woolworths and on facebook but without any luck. Please explain the quality of your food

Pity one can't give 0 stars. Received sms as well as email on Thursday telling me my order was ready to collect @ Somerset Mall. When I got there on Friday the parcel was nowhere to be found. Spoke to online people twice - nothing came of promises made to call me with feedback.

Least user friendly app of all the delivery apps! And ultimately only half of my order list was available. The rest was out of stock, with no communication about it.

I have been trying to get hold of someone at Woolworths headoffice Cape Town and I get NO response. I used to before but not now. WHY??? I bought a packet of pecan nuts to put in my trifle I make regularly. I decided to buy Woolies pecan nuts as I have bought them before. This time my whole trifle and all my ingredients were wasted as all the nuts that I broke up in the trifle spoilt it because they were all mouldy/ miff tasting and all my guests and family who aet my trifle ( very embarrassing for me told me the nuts tasted miff and old and messed the trifle. I'm so disappointed šŸ˜ž Lisa Lewis

I ordered my food online as far back as 5 days ago. My delivery was scheduled to arrive the next day. It's day 5 today and still nothing. I'm very disappointed as the food was meant for my guests on Good Friday. I even called their customer line on the day and I was assured that it would be delivered the following day.

I often buy the butter rotis and every time experience the rotis to stick together. Resulting in breaking. Unpleasant when serving it to guests

0 rating!!! Purchased underwear at woolworths woodlands, Pretoria East. Realised after purchase that I had the wrong size. Their policy states that underwear could be returned if not worn or opened. Unfortunately the staff at woodlands interpret this policy as "underwear can't be returned" and I must just keep wrong size underwear. I'VE HAD ENOUGH ALREADY AND NEVER ACTUALLY BUYING ANYTHING AGAIN FROM WOOLWORTHS

The Google listing opening times were not updated and it suggested certain stores were still open today on Good Friday which led me to drive there confidently only to find the stores were actually closed - not great Woolworths - we pay a premium and surely you can ensure your IT department takes care of such a simple yet critically important admin process ?

Absolutely shocking, I will not use Woolworths online or Dash again. I don't mind that they don't have half the products that I ordered. It is the payments that are the problem. It took me over a week to get my funds back for an order that never arrived, I then cancelled it and they asked why!!! I put another order in yesterday of R3k, they put that on uncleared and then proceeded to draw R2k off my account so I am R5k short on a R2k order to them and with the long weekend there is nothing they can do!

The Woolies Dash drivers are maniacs and do not obey the road rules at all. I managed to stop the one driver after he skipped about 6 stop streets and he was very rude to me and wanted to report me - for what I am not sure ? Really Wooolworhts if you have your logo on a service you should ve responsible - half of them do not even have licenses !!! Shaughn 082 7847966

I placed an order which contained ferrero rocher chocolate 375g,it was ā€œunavailableā€ supposedly so they swapped it to a 300g which costs the same price and contains less chocolate,I chose the bigger size box for the exact reason they’re the same price but 300g has less chocolate,besides that my bread expiry date on another order was 2 days after I ordered

I love purchasing the salami sticks from Woolworths but I’ve recently come across a problem that they are constantly being sold in store even when they are expired. I went to a franchise at a garage in Pretoria and the best before date was the 17th of January 2024 and I purchased them on the 16th of March 2024. I tried to buy them again on the 27th of March 2024 but the best before date on the packet was the 15th of March 2024. The salami sticks themselves look strange as well. With Black spots all over.

Woolworths dash drivers wont bring parcels up to your door. You can leave special delivery instruction saying that they should come up to the door and leave the parcels there, but instead they call and argue with you.

I ordered items to be delivered on the 17th of February. The driver arrived earlier than arranged and left. When I asked him to come back, he was irate. I immediately called the service hotline and explained the situation to Woolies Dash, they assured me that I will be refunded immediately. After more than 10 emails to them, it is now 25th March and they have still not refunded me. I will never use Woolies Dash again. Sixty60 and OneCart provide a seamless experience and you don’t need to beg for refunds, it all happens automatically. Woolies Dash Crash and Burn!
