No communication throughout the process. Does not provide shipping info. Just expects you to sit at home and wait all day so you can sign for the package. Says they do not provide tracking because of insurance purposes. Whatever that means.

The process to buy was very easy. Fast delivery and everything went right. Just make sure you abide by their 30 day returns policy, when you go over that time they have a buy back program where you get charged about 25% for restocking fees. That's still not the problem as they disclose that when you reach out to find a way to return the item. What drives me nuts is that according to them they evaluate the ring when it comes in.... here is where I get very displeased. Eventhough the ring never left the box it came in, the person who inspected the ring said it had two indentations. And again the ring never left the original box. So this must be a way for the company to get more money out of the customer ( which is specially bad when you are returning an engagement ring due to sad situations... it feels like they kick you when you are down). If the ring had indentations it came that way.... but whatever. In the end they took another 10% off the setting price.

There was an initial hiccup but Sylvia and Phil got right on it and did as I asked. Then, the order shipped unexpectedly early and I needed to get it paid for. Phil called and we both laughed that it was coming early and I had not paid for it yet. But, again, I sent payment and have received the ring. Thus far I am very impressed with the ring. I will wear it constantly (except for when I sleep and shower) to see how well it does and it if cleans back up to look as nice as when I received it. I will be investigating further into the "perks" of the cleanings, etc. for my ring but have not explored that just yet. But so far, very pleased.

Unfortunately, very poor communication. I felt like I had to chase people for information. The engagement ring was delayed several times and I understand that things happen, but be proactive, be professional don't make people wait and guess. By the time we considered other options/diamonds it was too late, again things that if had been handled earlier may have worked out differently. It delayed my engagement which is very frustrating as you want that moment to be special and you just spent a considerable amount of money to make it so. The ring it's self is beautiful and the people I dealt with were very nice just maybe undertrained or not capable of communicating proactively?

Let’s start by saying that on April 4 I purchased an engagement ring a V halo with a cushion diamond carat 1.33. I made the payment through a bank wire right away and then I emailed Ritani care to see if they could make an engraving and also wanted hypoallergenic treatment. No one ever responded to my email. 10 days passed and I didn’t know what was going on. I finally was able (I’m in Italy) to chat with a manager online who apologized still didn’t explain why I had been ignored. They offered a 10% refund (which is usually the discount you find on Ritani’s diamonds anyway, but it wasn’t available when I purchased my ring). Finally I received the ring on April 15. And again it was disappointment. From the package that was loose inside the box, the poor quality of the ring holder (hard paper very easy to get dust on) and finally the ring. It looks minuscule. The ring itself I’m not complaining about the stone. The engraving is literally invisible even with a magnifying lens. The ring is as thin as a thread of cotton (did not look like that on Ritani’s website images) and in general it looks less attractive than you would expect for more than 5 grand.

I would definitely give Ritani 5 stars! First of all my diamond is stunning! It’s better than I imagined it would be. I was a little nervous about buying a diamond online, especially because I couldn’t see it in person, but I chatted with Yovanim several times during my shopping journey, my questions were always answered. I was very impressed when I was told I would get a text by 6pm informing me that my diamond will be sent the following day (which they did). I started to get very nervous, so Yovanim also sent me pictures of my lab grown diamond and a video before it was shipped out that night, which as soon as I saw the video, I was very excited and felt much better about purchasing from this company, but I was also shocked to find out they didn’t even charge my debit until I signed for the shipment! That alone speaks volumes. Not to mention my diamond is absolutely stunning!!!! I would definitely recommend Ritani to anyone thinking about purchasing from this company. I absolutely love my diamond! I’m sure you will love yours too! Thank You Ritani, and especially Yovanim for the excellent customer service you provided along the way. Laurie K
