After 3 days of failed deliveries and 4 conversations with customer services, Yodel decided to deliver my package to a random address in a different post code, on a different road. This was only brought to my attention when by chance I decided to check the tracking app and was kindly told me that it was left ‘with a neighbour’. I have basically been told by customer services that there is nothing they can do and they will ‘look into it’. I requested a reference number for the ticket that has been raised and was informed that I may not. I have never had an issue with any other delivery company. And I will actively choose to avoid shopping with outlets that use Yodel as their preferred shipping agency

Ordered a £200+ parcel and was meant to arrive on the 20th on a Saturday, after contacting Yodel they say the driver couldn’t locate my address even though they hadn’t informed me about that, so I contacted the driver and he said he would be there Monday without mentioning the whole not being able to find my address thing, which I found slightly dodgy that he didn’t bring it up if this is the information Yodel customer services had. I decide to wait that Monday until evening, nothing, call the driver again, he said he is trying to make it for 5, then changed the answer and said more like 6-6:30. I decided to wait again, and still nothing. I have a feeling I’m on the same track as everyone else in these reviews. They can’t get away with this appalling excuse of a delivery service, something is going on

AVOID AVOID AVOID Yodel do not deliver! Utter disgrace! Ordered a parcel from ASOS, its normally DPD who deliver without any issues. Sadly Yodel still haven't delivered the parcel, they now say its on its way back to ASOS - avoid using Yodel if you can. Update Yodel you have wasted my time, I can't understand why any company would use you as a courier. Blaming the non-delivery on depot issues at Selby and Livingston and then stating that you did try to deliver - utter BS!

Appalling outfit. Said they tried to deliver parcel 3 times. Totally untrue. Turns out driver couldn’t find house. Again rubbish, no other courier has ever had a problem! Only about 10 houses with this postcode. They said I had to drive 20 miles to their depot to collect parcel, or it will be sent back to sender. Don’t use this company!

What a terrible shower this lot are, waiting for delivery from Amazon seller, item arrived at local depot on the 15th November, Amazon message item to be delivered 16th, nothing arrives, YODEL tracking comes up with 17th, nothing arrives, today the 18th I contact via live chat asking if I could pick up the item from depot as going next door...cannot collect myself unless there has been a failed delivery...15 miles away...after a lot of chat i get a new delivery for 22nd November...possibly...I have never experienced such an incompetent shower of a useless company as this before, had hiccups over the years with different delivery companies but nothing to this extreme from YODEL..try help the situation by offering to collect on 19th as going next to depot only to be told I can drive 15 miles each way to collect only if they fail a delivery...my view is they have failed already..love to say the words I would like to call them...but they are a disgrace and should be ashamed of themselves...cannot express just how bad I think this so called courier is...

Yodel "tried" to deliver an item that apparently needed signing for, even though the previous consignment from the same customer didn't, I was definitely in on the second attempt but heard no attempt and there is usually someone about. Inept and lackadaisical is probably the nicest way I could describe them. If I find a company is using them as their courier I will not be using them! What a sad excuse, a delivery firm that don't deliver!

Expected a parcel today, shows as delivered, no photo or information of where the parcel is, and have not received, neither was I contacted by the courier to check, never had such a bad company deliver anything

They lied and said my package was delivered to me. I didn’t receive it. It’s impossible to get through to the ‘driver’. How are they getting away with this. ? It’s absolutely disgusting that they are just stealing peoples expensive packages like it’s free gifts for them. And judging from everyone else’s reviews, it’s clearly an on going issue.

Yodel delivered my parcels, didn't bother to come up to my flat, where they would of found my son at home, they instead left it in the lobby, by the front door where people can see it, when I got home from work parcels no longer there, contacted them and they will not take any responsibility for the lose of my parcels as they say they have been delivered, absolutely disappointed with this company. Would not recommend them

Why is there a no stars option. Parcel day late then took back to depot having not found our house. This is the third time different parcels have been messed. Could you produce a list of companies that use Yodel so we can avoid them.

You can always rely on Yodel. For a negative one star performance! Every time a company uses Yodel I try to avoid buying from them, because I can guarantee there will be a problem with delivery! Stayed in two days for waiting for a delivery, first day they couldn't find my house despite sending numerous messages to their hub giving instructions, don't they have Nat Sav in their cars or vans? The next day, they still couldn't find my house, THREE messages later giving the same instructions and going outside in the road to see if I could find him as their map showed him on the same road, by the time I had got out to the road he was heading away from me. Hurray this afternoon it was chucked on my doorstep, to see the back of the courier disappearing down the drive! Seriously, they need to employ drivers who at least can read instructions. Note to companies who use Yodel, you are losing business because of incompetent couriers!

Received notification that my parcel would be delivered on the 11th October 2021, between 09.10hrs and 11.10hrs.Stayed in the whole day, no contact and no delivery.Contact with customer services, after an extremely long delay, I was told that my parcel had been delivered through my letterbox, to the correct address and had been recorded on satellite.They could not tell me what the parcel contained and suggested " I " got in touch with Whistl the intermediate agent.I suggested that they,the delivering agent were responsible for finding my parcel.After several day's the majority of the work being carried out by me, the parcel was identified as a Citrus ( Orange ) Tree.It did arrive to the wrong address, thankfully a near neighbour, towards the end of October.It stood in a pot five feet high encased in a box and this was supposedly posted through my letter box.Lies, Lies, Lies.How do companies like this get away it ?Yodel are currently looking to employ thousands of people for seasonal jobs.With their reputation, there will be many customers disappointed on delivery over the Xmas period, if Yodel are the delivery agents.

My delivery driver decided my front garden of a busy street was a safe place for expensive parcel! No card left behind. Nothing. Just an email to say it had been delivered to my garden. Parcel was stolen! Tried to contact the delivery driver and he ignored me. Thanks very much for that mate. 0 stars if I could. Terrible terrible sort it out.

I was told day after day that the delivery was scheduled for today. Six days of this and finally I was informed that my delivery had been made to a safe place. If you call chucking the box of Zara clothes over the garden fence into wet grass safe! Hours after this delivery was made I checked my email and saw that my delivery had been made. I searched all the ‘safe’ places I could imagine until I finally found the cardboard box nestling in the grass near a bush. The box was soaking wet. Appalling lack of care from the driver.

Received an email on 3rd November to say my parcel was out for delivery "Today" - it's said that for 1 week now and still no parcel. Contacted Yodel through Web chat numerous times to be told the tracker will update when the driver is on his tour. The most recent conversation we had was that I needed to be patient whilst the depot team look for my parcel and that they would contact me. That was on Monday (8th) and I'm still waiting. The sender can't send me a replacement until Yodel confirm they've lost it. Abysmal service, do not use.

I will not buy anything from a company that uses Yodel to deliver! each time i order something and Yodel are delivering it two things happen, one they just give you an estimate and then it ends up being a few days past it so you wait in days for nothing, secondly the driver will just turn up and dump it somewhere then mark it as delivered 4 years later. My parcel has been stuck on "at your local depot" for two days now....my house is 20 mins from the depot! how hard can it be to deliver a parcel to a house 20 mins away when you've had it there almost 3 days? ended up fetching it myself and demanding delivery fee to be refunded by seller, Hermes is terrible but recently i have had more good experiences with them than Yodel which says everything!

I was meant to get my item next day. It ended up at two different "incorrect" local depots across 6 days. On day of delivery they gave me my two hour time slot... upon checking my tracking at the end of the two hour slot it showed that they hadn't even made half the delivery stops listed before mine.

Told me i was not in and left me a calling card. I was in the whole time, waited outside my property, and no sign of yodel van, also no calling card was left. This company should not be called a courier company, but a scammer
