“Yodel "tried" to deliver an item that apparently needed signing for, even though the previous consignment from the same customer didn't, I was definitely in on the second attempt but heard no attempt and there is usually someone about. Inept and lackadaisical is probably the nicest way I could describe them. If I find a company is using them as their courier I will not be using them! What a sad excuse, a delivery firm that don't deliver!”

“You can always rely on Yodel. For a negative one star performance! Every time a company uses Yodel I try to avoid buying from them, because I can guarantee there will be a problem with delivery! Stayed in two days for waiting for a delivery, first day they couldn't find my house despite sending numerous messages to their hub giving instructions, don't they have Nat Sav in their cars or vans? The next day, they still couldn't find my house, THREE messages later giving the same instructions and going outside in the road to see if I could find him as their map showed him on the same road, by the time I had got out to the road he was heading away from me. Hurray this afternoon it was chucked on my doorstep, to see the back of the courier disappearing down the drive! Seriously, they need to employ drivers who at least can read instructions. Note to companies who use Yodel, you are losing business because of incompetent couriers!”
“Received notification that my parcel would be delivered on the 11th October 2021, between 09.10hrs and 11.10hrs.Stayed in the whole day, no contact and no delivery.Contact with customer services, after an extremely long delay, I was told that my parcel had been delivered through my letterbox, to the correct address and had been recorded on satellite.They could not tell me what the parcel contained and suggested " I " got in touch with Whistl the intermediate agent.I suggested that they,the delivering agent were responsible for finding my parcel.After several day's the majority of the work being carried out by me, the parcel was identified as a Citrus ( Orange ) Tree.It did arrive to the wrong address, thankfully a near neighbour, towards the end of October.It stood in a pot five feet high encased in a box and this was supposedly posted through my letter box.Lies, Lies, Lies.How do companies like this get away it ?Yodel are currently looking to employ thousands of people for seasonal jobs.With their reputation, there will be many customers disappointed on delivery over the Xmas period, if Yodel are the delivery agents.”
“My delivery driver decided my front garden of a busy street was a safe place for expensive parcel! No card left behind. Nothing. Just an email to say it had been delivered to my garden. Parcel was stolen! Tried to contact the delivery driver and he ignored me. Thanks very much for that mate. 0 stars if I could. Terrible terrible sort it out.”
“I was told day after day that the delivery was scheduled for today. Six days of this and finally I was informed that my delivery had been made to a safe place. If you call chucking the box of Zara clothes over the garden fence into wet grass safe! Hours after this delivery was made I checked my email and saw that my delivery had been made. I searched all the ‘safe’ places I could imagine until I finally found the cardboard box nestling in the grass near a bush. The box was soaking wet. Appalling lack of care from the driver.”
“Received an email on 3rd November to say my parcel was out for delivery "Today" - it's said that for 1 week now and still no parcel. Contacted Yodel through Web chat numerous times to be told the tracker will update when the driver is on his tour. The most recent conversation we had was that I needed to be patient whilst the depot team look for my parcel and that they would contact me. That was on Monday (8th) and I'm still waiting. The sender can't send me a replacement until Yodel confirm they've lost it. Abysmal service, do not use.”
“I will not buy anything from a company that uses Yodel to deliver! each time i order something and Yodel are delivering it two things happen, one they just give you an estimate and then it ends up being a few days past it so you wait in days for nothing, secondly the driver will just turn up and dump it somewhere then mark it as delivered 4 years later.
My parcel has been stuck on "at your local depot" for two days now....my house is 20 mins from the depot! how hard can it be to deliver a parcel to a house 20 mins away when you've had it there almost 3 days? ended up fetching it myself and demanding delivery fee to be refunded by seller, Hermes is terrible but recently i have had more good experiences with them than Yodel which says everything!”
“I was meant to get my item next day. It ended up at two different "incorrect" local depots across 6 days. On day of delivery they gave me my two hour time slot... upon checking my tracking at the end of the two hour slot it showed that they hadn't even made half the delivery stops listed before mine.”

“Driver came three times! I was always at home but he could not get in touch with me because of my doorbell was broken! I contacted the company in advance via live chat, asking if the driver could give me a call instead of ringing my bell. They said that the driver does not carry a phone while delivering! Which currier do not carry a phone in 2021?! Thus, I tried contact the company though phone call, I WAS CHARGED £6 to speak with NONE! Eventually, NOBODY was able to help me or to solve my issue! THE WORST experience with a delivery company in my entire life! If you can choose DO NOT CHOSE YODEL for your parcel delivery!”
