Absolutely useless Yodel delivery guy today!
I tracked the delivery all afternoon. And when I was next for delivery stood by my large front window that looks out onto the road.
After 10 minutes of no sign of either delivery guy or Yodel van I rechecked the tracking screen....and unbelievably the message stated that the delivery guy had been unable to find my address! Absolutely Unbelievable!!
1) My property has a large clear sign with house name and number on my entrance!
2) Neither he or his van came anywhere near my property!
I tried calling Yodel but it is just an annoying automated service that states the obvious - that the delivery man had failed to find my address!
What puzzles and annoys me is that anyone here would have told him where my property is - so clearly he failed to even ask!!!
Totally unacceptable and also so annoying considering I have already waited 10 days for the parcel to arrive!
Now its gone back to the depot and I cant do anything about it!
Yodel you need to speak to this driver as clearly he couldnt be bothered!!

“One star is too much! Never had a positive experience with yodel. Would avoid at all costs! It is such a shame that you can decide who your parcel is delivered with! I never received my parcel. My delivery driver didn’t answer his phone, the depot that were supposed to ring me never did & they never tried to deliver my item. Absolutely disgusting!”

“I ordered flowers from M&S to be delivered to my mother for Easter. I received a text saying they had been delivered and checked with my mum, no flowers! checked with Yodel who said they had been delivered to another address but they would sort out on Tuesday so 4 days later which is not ideal when it's a fresh flower delivery! On Wednesday after still no flowers I was sent a photo of flowers delivered to a doorstep I do not recognise, certainly not my mums. (see photo)Yodel saying it's not their fault as they have two addresses; mine (billing address) and my mum's (delivery address) neither of these addresses have had flowers delivered. Very, very poor service, you must do better Yodel!”
“Same as everyone else, the driver scans as 'attempted delivery' when they never, just so they can maintain their delivery metrics. I have cctv and no one came at any point in the day plus I spent most of the day on the front garden. The main problem comes when you try to contact them. Phone - automatic voice call which is just horrible and very stressful and I never got through to anyone, cut me off. Chat - It's an Indian in another country, say no more.
As an e-commerce manager for a major brand myself, I can assure you we have and never will use Yodel, it's well known within my industry to stay away from them.
Unfortunately, companies are all attracted to the cheap prices of shipping goods through them.
It's sad in this day and age with the technology, we are actually going backwards in quality, not fowards.”

“The parcel was claimed "lost" . High value items appear "lost". I lost £185. Yodel have very poor customer service and they do not compensate the full price. I would never use them again. They are dishonest!”

Anybody will open the door for delivery and then just leave it outside the door but the item is small enough to get through the letter box. Was given a number to text or call and no reply

“Ignored instructions dumped parcel with neighbours card left in garden under bush cannot contact them they are always busy. Charge you a fortune if you contact them”

“Joke of a system. Claimed that I wasn’t home for first attempt even though I didn’t leave the flat all day. Second attempt - the website tracker said “out for delivery” all day, all night, into the next morning so I had to enquire. Called the driver, they hung up on me. Online tracker then suddenly says “delivered” the day BEFORE - complete nonsense - I had to go out of the building looking for it and it was left on the steps with no attempt to bring my bell or knock.”
“Absolutely shocking. Expected delivery was on 31st March on next day delivery, still waiting, no ETA, no one can tell me anything. Driver 'claims' couldn't find address, Vax customer services was in agreement with me that it is a very easy property to find!! Did the driver attempt delivery, incredibly doubtful.
No chance of contacting Yodel via phone. Webchat is just people who do not have a clue!
Advised the company from which I purchased my item from to seriously think about the parcel company they use. Personally I would not recommend this parcel company.
