“Well it seemed to be ok setting up pretty straight forward. Then I needed to contact them no so I can’t call them like a normal insurance I have to chat to some girl through a message service. Surely I’m not the only person in the country that needs to talk to someone with a problem not chit chatting on messages. Waiting for a reply not sure if there still there no sorry not for me.”
“First glance all the 'free' extras seem to make this the best insurance deal by miles.....until you look into them and see just how basic they are.
Having said that, it was the lowest price so can't be that bad.”
“Very cheap and easy to arrange but I expected a document relating to the free breakdown cover. All I can find is a phone number to call if I breakdown. Maybe they add a document to your account when it starts???”
“For an insurance company they are probably relatively good and their price beat everyone else hands down at renewal by about £40. However, I renewed a month before I needed to, the car broke 2 weeks later and so I didn't need the insurance, but when I cancelled (before the policy started) I was charged a cancellation fee. Yes, that was all in the small print etc my fault for not reading the 52 pages of policy details, but it just annoyed me a bit. So I thought I'd talk to someone, but you can't, they don't have people you can talk to. They have automated bots that direct you to the website or your policy docs, they have a chatbot that is a bit better, but basically no human contact. And the bots advice was pay extra to change your details and keep something you don't need for a few weeks (til you get a new car) so you don't have to pay a cancellation fee!
So if you're shy or dislike people and want to do everything remotely you will love Yoga Insurance, but if you want service with a smile or even just a human touch, please go elsewhere. Needless to say I am desperately hoping that I don't need to claim or change anything this year and will not be renewing with them next year.”
“Whilst I was happy with the quote when changing insurance from my current car for a new car, I feel like I've been mugged with the Admin fee. Why? It would have been cheaper to go to a different insurer. Why is it only car insurance companies that charge an admin fee to change 🤔”
“Prices on price comparison Web sites are not a true reflection of the price finally given even when all facts remained the same. From £367 to £407 is a large jump. No longer the cheapest quote!! In the end the service was good and prompt. My first time with this company so I am unable to review any further.”
“Competitive pricing and fairly easy to negotiate the website but they should allow you to amend or correct mistakes prior to the start date of the policy without incurring extra charges,.....”
“Unable to make a comment. I have just taken out car insurance. Hope I dont have to make a claim. If I make a claim I will give a better review , thank you”
“Only just signed up so we’ll see…great price, except they’ve already taken 2 deposit payments in 2 days!!!! So I’m now I’m concerned incase it keeps happening. I chose monthly payments for the first time to help me spread the cost of living whilst energy prices are so bad….but I’ve already paid almost 1/4 of my payments before my policy has started! Hopefully it’ll level out & be worth the change.”
“Bit of smoke and mirrors went easily on line then you get to the end they tell you "youre not insured for 'uninsured drivers' itll cost £20+ to cover!!" Ok it didnt say you would be it just stated its there . .. fine i accept that so i paid.
Then the docs arrive for review or keeping i note an error by me but not seen until after i had paid! Work status was wrong for the wife so i quickly went on line to correct. . caching! Cost me a tenner+!!! Just saying so not that cheap at the end of the day”
“Not a lot of interaction as done all on lone - would prefer a more upfront approach to add on sales you need to set out walharlt is included and what are the extras earlier in the process”
“We got a quote from one of the comparison sites for one price with all the extras and was £20 cheaper than out renewal quote.
HOWEVER
On purchasing the policy we where a little confused as it was really basic cover and had to pay £45 more to get the same cover.
Before taking out a policy check their pricing model ***”
