“Received a competitive quote, decided to go ahead, but afterwards I decided to cancel. This was within an hour of taken out the policy and 22 days prior to the commencement date, and got stung for £49 to cancel…. Most companies you can cancel without penalty, especially in the short timescale and the fact it was 3 weeks prior to commencement. So be warned.”
“No one to discuss, I paid for my policy and when received found out that it was filled wrongly, when went to update wanted to charge me £100 more with extra admin, now I ask for a full refund”
“I am trying to cancel my policy. I do not wish to renew it.I have forgotten my use name and password, it keeps saying it will send me new ones but doesn't. I have tried phoning the only number I can find, but that is useless.”
“Never use this company. I've had to claim due to an accident. I've had zero help from them, you have to join all the dots yourself. No courtesy car as promised and paid fir in the insurance. They fob you off constantly. I had to chase all the difference contacts myself. No one to talk to, to help. It's a company that lies and is breaking the law constantly. Please do not use. Read the reviews on Google. I only wish I had! Absolutely appalling. How they keep trading is a total crime.”
“Zero customer service!
As with most large companies now it’s impossible to contact via email. It’s all very well forcing customers to use their portal but individual questions relating to your own situation is simply not available via a bot who sends you round in circles. Utterly infuriating.”
“I have cancelled my insurance as I could not access my account online and it is totally impossible to contact Yoga. No phone number no email no chat other than a bot. The only way Yoga will know I have cancelled is when the money disappears. Not my preference but that’s going to happen if you are arrogant enough to refuse to speak with your customers.”
“BE WARNED! READ THE REVIEWS.Yoga may just be the broker but they share a director with OneCall Insurance, OneCall Claims and OC Motors who were appointed go manage my no fault claim. I found OneCall and OC to be unethical, unprofessional, incompetent and dishonest and reported them to the Ombudsman and Trading Standards - botched the repairs on my car and caused damage to my car whilst in their care
Reported this to Yoga who were totally dismissive. NEVER AGAIN. Also beware their auto renewal policy. I wouldn't trust these people to wash my car let alone insure it.”
“Bought my insurance on confused.com as I usually do. Selected the cheapest with breakdown cover (as I usually do) only breakdown cover is not really included. They very craftily added a call out fee of £20 each for first 2 call-outs. Also abysmal customer service who are NOT CONTACTABLE BY PHONE. Probably due to the level of abuse they'd receive if they were! I was told the information about breakdown is in the documents. In 40 years, I have NEVER purchased insurance to find out when reading the policy that there's a call out fee for breakdown that's included in your policy! Avoid like the plague.”
“Terrible company which has no customer service number to call . You have to try to communicate through the website but if you have anything vaguely complicated to sort and need to discuss then you are out of luck.
I tried to cancel my policy before the start date which is my right under the "cooling off time" policy but they wanted to charge me £50 to do this so I am forced to stay with them until next year . Avoid this tinpot company at all cost! God help me if I need to make a claim!”
“I took out a policy and asked that a named driver could have business use which was an option on the screen however your company advised that to do that I should first take out the policy then amend it later.
When trying to do this after your advice
I was informed that you could not facilitate this requirement and therefore had to cancel the policy which you charged me £49.99 despite that fact that I only had to cancel due to your poor advice”
“I chose options that I thought were covered when I paid a deposit, only to find that these options had not been included.
I contacted an agent to request cancellation within an hour of buying the policy, only to be told that they would not refund my deposit & would also charge an administration and a cancellation fee, despite being within the legal 14day cooling off period.I was told I should have read the small print. I didnot receive the 'small print' until after I had already paid.
I am completely disgusted.”
“I found being covered by motor insurance by yoga to be cheap, easy and quick.
However I sold my old car and took out a new policy to cover my new car which amounted to over£500. Then had to pay £49 to cancel my old policy when I thought it possibly be waived due to me taken out my new policy with Yoga and not taken my business else where.”
“DONOT USE, NO TELEPHONE NUMBER TO RING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SO LOST £1690 AS THEY STORED MY CARD DETAILS WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND DO AUTOMATIC RENEWAL- I AM 60 , DONT USE APPs, DONT HAVE LAPTOP, So not very techie feel robbed as I can’t send an email or telephone anyone as it’s all APp based options which don’t cover getting a refund to give you opportunity to ring or email a real life person”
“I turned off the option to auto renew my policy and then on Boxing Day morning i receive an email saying I have a new (not renewed) policy and they are debiting my account (although I’ve given no authorisation for them to do so) . No way to speak to anyone as their only contact is via a chat robot who doesn’t recognise my problem and a whole of Boxing day fretting on whether I’ll be charged a cancellation fee or for days I’m ‘insured’ via Yoga insurance. Not an ideal way to spend Christmas”
“Don’t use they automatically renew and it’s hidden in small print, they charge your card and then deduct £49.99 admin even though your in 14- day cooling off period. RIP OFF RIP OFF BE WARNED have no right to keep my card details stored and charge over £1600 without asking my permission”
“The insurer has no customer service number. Even after weeks of waiting for them to arrange my car to be repaired, they eventually recommend a garage but my car still has not been repaired! As the garage need authorisation and they have not replied!
When you want to make a complaint you have to speak to the live chat (messaging) and they ask you to call a phone number with 4 options. 1 of them is there breakdown department, option 2 goes dead and option 3 and 4 say go back to the live chat!
Honestly the most under resourced, understaffed, unprofessiona insurance company I have gone with.”
“you can never leave without paying a £53 fine even after 12 months and there’s nothing you can do because there is no customer service no phone number no email and live chat is a robot making no sense”
