“Hi, I have asked you not to renew my insurance for the Fiesta as i have sold it but you have sent me renewal bits. Can i please confirm i do not want to renew the policy, Regards”
“Total ripoff my husband insurance as just about double in price he is 66years old no claims discount and still£77 per month and we go nowhere with this company and because we late acting on this we have to stay with this horrendous company”
“Yoga-insure has billed me twice for the one policy I have purchased. Having just returned from holiday today to discover this, I have tried in vain to reach an agent on live chat (robot only with pat answers) to organise a refund and am losing confidence in the legitamacy and ethics of this company. I expect to hear immediately that this has been an error, a refund will be paid and an apology for inconvenience, otherwise I will take action to publicise this malpractice and downright theft. Hope this will help to resolve this issue.”
“There doesn't seem to be the option of no star review. Automatic renewal was charged, with a big hike in premium. I obtained cheaper insurance elsewhere, but when I cancelled the renewal I was still charged a £49.99 cancellation fee. The online chatbot gives only irrelevant options and it is impossible to speak to anyone. Never going back to this firm.”
“After the initial quote I decided to accept. Big mistake, the Chatbot only has set answers to any query. I decided to cancel due to the bad service. A day after joining and 3 weeks before my policy was due to start they had taken a £67 deposit and I was then being charged £49.99 cancellation fee. Don't fall for the 'today only' quote. Online chat only. It took over an hour to 'chat' to a human. God only knows what would happen if I had to claim. Well I decided I didn't want to find out. Bye bye Yoga.”
“The price was £30 higher than initially displayed by Comparethemarket but I went ahead.
A glitch in Yoga's online form meant that the purchase price of the car, 15 years ago, was displayed as the current value. Also my attempt to change my marital status from married to widowed was unsuccessful. I was going to be charged over £50 to make the amendments immediately after buying the policy even though the mistakes weren't my fault, so I cancelled.
I will now arrange insurance with a company that doesn't penalise me financially for my husband's death.
I would welcome your feedback/apology for my experience and trust that my full refund will be made promptly.”
“I already have an insurance policy with another provider, but to cancel my policy on renewal date is over £50!
With all other insurers, under dual policy rules, i would not be charged twice.
There is no phone number to call to complain - only the ability to login into a portal or deal with a very limited chat bot that doesn't seem to work all the time.
Would ideally love to sort this out amicably but there seems to be no easy way to do this on Yoga's website. So will need to file a complaint.
Pretty shocking really.”
“Took out car insurance a week later it wasn't listed on the MID spoke to someone on live chat who assured me it would be on there within 72 hours another week passed and it still wasn't listed on the MID making me liable to be stopped by police anytime. I tried to contact them via 'Live Chat ' which was dead. In frustration I cancelled the policy having learned the lesson that you get what you pay for..”
“I got quoted a price, a couple of days later I went to purchase it and the price had risen £37. I was informed that insurance quotes can change on daily basis.Thinking it would go up again against my better judgement because this company is solely online and I had reservations about the company if I needed to get hold of them in the future, I purchased at this price as other companies were quoting me more. After purchasing the increased premium, I then received an email stating if I bought the insurance today I could have got it for less than I had just paid. Angry and upset at this I then had to go through the live chat to complain about this. I got told that I would be charged £40 if I wanted to cancel my insurance, even though it has not started and wasn’t due to start until the middle of the month, I was quoted the companies t & C’s. Through the live chat eventually came to some agreement but I would think twice before purchasing, make sure you fully read the small print and be comfortable that you can not actually speak with anyone as it’s an online company with only the live chat option to discuss any matters.”
“Price quoted on confused.com wasn't the price that got when clicked through to the site. Had a live chat, but wouldn't match price they were saying on confused.com”
“My car was damaged over Christmas as I was parked at a family members house. I reported this to yoga. I was told to take photos and upload them. I did this and called them back…… No one answered. So giving them the benefit of it being a bank holiday I called again the following day. They had no knowledge of my call…. Even though I could tell them wh I spoke to and what I was asked to do Anyway that was stage 1…. Then I was told they would be in touch to collect my car and provide me with a courtesy car…. As I paid for this option. Today's date is the 7th Feb 2024 and I am still waiting for anyone to contact me. Yes 6 weeks…. No car and no courtesy car. That's over 1.5 month of insurance I have paid for a car I can not drive. I contact them regularly via a portal where no one takes accountability and just passes me around. What service takes ya payment yet does nothing for you. Last week I asked for a manager to call me, apparently it takes 3 working days for a manager to call. I waited the 3 days and low and behold…. Nothing so I went on to the portal again to go through it all again…… Still no contact from anyone. P”
“Absolutely useless. I will never recommend Yoga. They have taken my first instalment ( I am so glad I did not pay the annual amount) and said my policy was up and running but I cannot find any documents to download. In fact, their Portal as it is called keeps telling me I have no policies and refers me time after time to it to download documentation, which it does not have ?!!. Trying many times to talk to that useless chatbot Yogi is unreal. No sense whatsoever and cannot answer any questions. Infuriating. I cannot contact anyone or thing on the website, and cannot, probably deliberate on Yoga's part, even find a way to cancel the policy without going to Portal which then won't accept my request. Enough Yoga. you are the worst ever company I have dealt with in 50 years of driving. You owe me £40.65 first payment. This is my second serious complaint in 48 hours, that says something eh! Useless Yoga. I will be contacting the ombudsman about this debacle.”
