Purchased two of these covers for the inner cushion on our beagle's cave bed. We wanted to keep the inner cushions clean as we wash the cave bed cover regularly. These are the same size as the cave bed (36") and fit inside to provide an extra layer of protection. If used by itself, it appears that it would be durable and waterproof given the material and construction.
