I try to be self-sufficient on the trails. I try to avoid getting into bad situations to begin with, but stuff happens! If I needed to be winched out of a bad situation, is it really fair to expect the people doing the winching to have everything needed to extract yourself? Of course not! Or, what if you are the one providing a tow to a fellow rider in need? Sure, most people have some kind of tow strap with them, but when using it to tow someone it can get caught on ground debris. get all dirty, or even get caught up in your drive train! The Tiger Tail prevents all that. Very easy to install, with flexible installation options, the Tiger Tail gives you that no-nonsense capability you might need out there on the trail. During a test run, it spooled properly and kept the strap under tension at all times. I would like to see the original hook have a safety hook to ensure it stayed where it was put. Like many, I did replace mine with a bigger, more robust hook with the latch to minimize risk. Definitely worth it, and I will be buying another for my second machine!
