Does what it says, you drive the spike in the ground, pop a post in it, tighten the bolts up and there you go! Okay so you do need to remember where the bolts will be so they can be tightened and keep a close eye on the verticals while driving it in as well as it being straight with the previous. But this is as good as any of the more expensive spikes. Absolutely ideal for putting fences up on a hillside!
