I debated for a long time buying a new demountable roof rack system or having a car dealer-installed system including new rails which my car didn’t have. I’m very happy with the system I got, including the Compass Kayak Rack, which is perfect for carrying my two kayaks. I love being able to remove the full system when I’m not using it.
