An absolutely beautiful site. Bring a telescope! Joseph was awesome, helpful , and the site was well maintained, and ready upon arrival. The wood burning stove was a GODSEND at night. Better feed it though! My 9-8-6 year olds slept in their bags with tee shirts and jammie bottoms. (Dad did process wood all damn night, but hey what evs) the landscape is endless. You’re private. Only thing I heard were my kids having fun, fighting , playing, and running WILD. It’s safe . The pond was gorgeous in the AM. Fishing was MEH. We all know that has to do with temp, time, bait etc. I could see it going off in the spring /summer. My son caught a monster sunny and it was an “oh thank god” moment cause kids need to be catching! Overall I’d definitely go back. Just to appreciate that sight and perhaps explore a bit more .
