We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Herdsman Hut. The hut was super cosy and had everything you needed for a short stay. Jane the host was very attentive - she had the hot tub ready for use when we arrived and made sure it was warmed up again for the next day. We had a problem with our shower and she saw to this immediately with a new tap fitted whilst we were out. It was in a great location, 10 mins from Kendal and 20 mins to Windermere (via car). Highly recommend staying at Herdsman Hut for a relaxing break away - we’ll definitely be back again!
