Mrs. Chapman Vaughn
Subject: Complaint Regarding Enterprise's Handling of Insurance Claim and Rental Services I have been a loyal customer of Enterprise for over 25 years under my driver's license, but the recent experience with an insurance claim and rental services has left me frustrated. Enterprise made a deal with State Farm to pick up my vehicle on November 3rd, but due to circumstances, I could only collect it on November 4th. The complications arose when my car, taken to a Ford shop by State Farm, was not serviced because they claimed to exclusively work on Chevrolets. To make matters worse, in late November, both State Farm and Enterprise abruptly halted my rental without notifying me about payment issues. Instead of addressing the problem transparently, they requested the return of the car, citing mileage limits and offering a newer rental. When I contacted Enterprise to report an unauthorized deduction of $389 from my bank account on December 8th, the situation became more perplexing. State Farm admitted they hadn't initiated any work orders because they were unsure of my car's location, and the rental needed to be restarted. It became evident that State Farm was mishandling claims and concealing information on their app. Returning the car on December 11th, after I saw the fees taking out my account. Then after they closed, and I was waiting in parking lot for my husband to pick me up. The manager Johnathan sent a guy out to give me the rental keys back. I assumed they saw where Zachery of state farm re inputted the new claim to start new on the 11th of Dec. I left it and assume they saw it on the computer. I already was already facing challenges with the Ford shop repairs, as they needed State Farm's permission to proceed with repairs. But, Zachery of State Farm resent the claim and told me to call the shop and make sure they got it. Debbie said yes, but only wanted to do the body and not anything else because they don't service Chevys. Despite conflicting information, Enterprise continued to deduct money from my account without permission and in January. Furthermore, Enterprise's refusal to rent to me on December 30th, citing State Farm's outstanding balance, contradicted the information provided by Enterprise Corp. Though almost $600 has been taking on 3 different transactions. In summary, I am asking that my car be promptly repaired, State Farm fulfills their financial commitments to Enterprise for the pickup scheduled on November 3rd, and Enterprise addresses the unauthorized deductions and rental denials that I did not reserve myself. This experience has been disheartening, and I am asking for a resolution to these issues. The rental shows State farm is responsible and I was told everything was covered by stat farm themselves and the appraisal person, Debbie via text to my phone.
