I have been with Octopus since June 2023 and I have had nothing but the worst experience with trying to sort my account with this company. This is the first time I have had to deal with an electric company and I am appalled at the service I was provided. In November 2023 they charged us with a £1,660.53 bill for one month in a two bedroom house. When I had called to get this resolved, the customer service representative blamed myself because I had sent in a video of my meter and they had inputted this incorrectly. I asked for a complaint to be logged due to the service I was provided which was completely disregarded. They fixed the issue and then it happened again in December 2023 and this time they charged us £1,652.76. I called again to resolve this, asked for a complaint to be logged and to speak to a manager and yet again the complaint was not logged and I could not be put through to a manager. This was resolved and we were told that the payments were showing correctly. Then come January, there were numerous amounts put into our account and then numerous amounts removed which has completely messed our accounts and we cannot tell now what our usage is of our electric. Finally my complaint was logged and this has been ongoing since February as our account ended at -£915 after all the transactions they have put into our account. We have now not been billed for 3 months as they cannot provide me with a genuine answer as to how much electric we have used. I am still awaiting a call back and an answer regarding all of the transactions. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do not go to Octopus.
