I grew up in Albuquerque, NM and later El Paso, TX. I have had the great pleasure of visiting Hatch, NM at the time of year when it mattered most - chile season. Now that I'm in Houston and the drive is not feasible The Hatch Chile Store lets me enjoy not just the best damn chilis anywhere but serves them up with a bushel of nostalgia.
