I placed an order in advance (9:03 a.m.) for a restaurant because I knew it would be busy. The restaurant has a special of buy one get one free. I also ordered a child's meal(which was cold) so a total of 3 items in the cart. The order was supposed to arrive by 4:05pm, but it arrived at 4:40p.m. (the restaurant is 10min away by vehicle) So by the time it arrived there was only one plate of food and the child's plate of food. So I was left without a meal that I paid for. Called the restaurant to ask about it and was told to contact ubereats, because there seemed to be a glitch in the system. When I did I was told that my order didn't qualify for a refund.(this is with photos of the ad and my receipt on the bag). If they looked at my previous order history they would have seen i've ordered the same dinners on numerous occasions with that advertisement of buy one get one. So it seems you should take a screen shot of every aspects of your order from start to finish otherwise if there is an error nothing can be done. A better system needs to be put in place.
