On Monday 12th Sept 2022, I purchased, among other products from Iceland's Farnborough Hampshire store, a loaf of bread priced on the shelf at £1.29 for which I subsequently found I was charged £1.35. I brought this to the attention of customer services. On Wednesday 14th Sept 2022, I revisited the store to find the same mispricing/ overcharging. Even if one is to accept that the original discrepancy was an accidental error, it is difficult to maintain that view when customer service are aware of the issue and fail to act. On the second visit, I also found that Iceland beefburgers, priced at £2.75 are actually charged at £3. I spoke to the manager of the store who claimed it was 'not intentional', but seemed unconcerned. I didn't purchase anything. Having not the time to check every advertised and charged price in my baskets I left two baskets of goods at the checkout for the staff to replace in their freezers; just as I shall do every time this happens. It is unreasonable to assume that every customer has time to check every item's quoted price and that the subsequent charging is accurate, and so presumably on most occasions Iceland 'get away with it'. It would appear equally unreasonable to expect competent management. I have, of course, attached photographic evidence to support my case and while I can have no idea by how much Iceland have profited, or by how much customers have been misled, over any period of time, I would expect it to be a substantial amount and it most certainly has not worked in the customers' favour
