The tech dispatched to change the (2) Batteries in my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was scheduled to arrive at 9am. He actually arrived at 2pm. No phone call or notice he would be 5 hours late. I was told he couldn’t find the smaller Autostart battery and that was why he was late, announcing he THINKS the one he found will work. Upon driving the Jeep the next day I found a dashboard alert stating the Autostart feature was disabled. To my surprise the Autostart system was completely inoperable, the primary reason for having the battery changed out. The Service Manuel states that the right fender needs to be removed to access the Autostart battery, he did not do this! Likely part of the reason for a failed installation. I re-contacted 1-800-Battery today. The individual I spoke with seemed willing to schedule a new tech to remedy the poor first effort. I’m told this tech will come from LA about an hour away. We’ll see how they respond to the poor and unsuccessful visit. More to follow Soon.

So disappointed to pay for a battery and installation, confirmed for a 2-hour time slot. At the third hour, with no communication whatsoever, I started trying to reach a human being. The following morning, same thing- two hours on the phone on hold, hoping for communication. Then about 10:00 am someone shows up with a battery. Install took less than 5 minutes, and the installer was quick and courteous. If the schedulers could learn from the installers, you might have a great service.

If I could give less stars I would. Never showed the first day they said they would be here. I called and they said the next morning. When they arrived they had the WRONG battery. I canceled the order and they only wanted to refund half the money thankfully I called my credit card company and they settled it. Run away

Called yesterday and paid for guaranteed delivery and installation of a battery in my car by 5:00 pm. Still not here- what if I had been on the side of the road?? No way to reach a human being- I was on hold a total of two hours. No one at " live chat." No one is here still. 17 hours after my guaranteed install. Never again in Nashville.

I needed a new car battery installed ASAP. I-800-Battery was the first one that came up on my google search. I read the information on their website & determined this was exactly what I needed. I scheduled my appointment for 9 am the next morning. After entering all of my information including my credit card number I received a confirmation email for the date and time I requested. After em waiting one hour without the tech showing up, I called the 1 800 Battery phone number on the confirmation email. I listened to the same recording, “your wait time is less than one minute, there are 9 callers in front of you.” This continued to play over and over again. There was no other way to speak to a live person. I called this number all morning & received the same message. I reviewed my email again to see if there was anything I missed & found nothing. After waiting 3 1/2 hours after my scheduled appointment & no word from 1 800 Battery I was sure I was scammed so I found another way to get a battery. 4 1/2 hours later I received a call from Brian the tech who said he was at my home to install my battery. I told him the scenario & he told me, “I hear that a lot! But I’m the only tech and came from New York.” I apologized & told him I am refusing the battery & my reason why. 1-800-Battery needs to do a better job with their customer service! I would not recommend this business!

You showed up a day late without providing updates and I wasn't able to talk to someone about the status of my request. And after all of that, you dare to charge me for the service that you didn't render. You should be ashamed of your service here and I will make sure to never call you again.

24 hours late for appointment. Lied about trying to contact me to inform me of lateness. Kept me on hold for an hour just to give me the info at 6pm that my installer would not make my 1:30 appointment five hours after the fact. Did not receive any discount or apology for being a full day late. When the installer actually got to me, he was quick and professional. Everyone else I dealt with on the phone was useless.

Was given a two hour delivery window. It took them six hours to arrive. When he finally did arrive, he didn't have the right battery, so he had to go get the right one, which took another hour. Also, the tech texted me the next morning asking if we could be friends, which is very unprofessional and made me incredibly uncomfortable.

Absolute garbage, no one answers at their 1-800 number for 20-30 minutes at a time. I scheduled an appointment and they just never showed up despite calling and confirming. I was told that I was one stop away twice over the course of 4 hours waiting for them. I was given a nearby location the tech was supposed to be at, they were apparently at that location for several hours. Do not ever choose this place, it is a scam and is being reported to the BBB and Google so that they do not promote this scam again. I cannot even contact them to cancel the order so I have had to report them to my credit card as a fraudulent charge.

Appointment was at 4.00 pm. Tech showed up at 7.45pm She was very proper and did a great job. My issue was that I called at 4.30 for an ETA and was told 5.30pm Called again at 6.00 and was told 7.30pm She actually showed up as I was calling to cancel. Nobody called to say they were running late. I would assume that a courtesy call is not too much to ask. Never again will I use 1-800batteries.

I had a scheduled appt at 9am on 1/8 and the person didn’t arrive til 1130. Customer service was not very helpful. It wasn’t the guys fault who came out, he did a nice job. But to have me wait over 2 hours for an appt was ridiculous

I have canceled the appointment for replacement my car battery because I charge my battery and it perfect again. Why you still charge me for $365.48? My name is George. It is very wrong doing for the customers.

I was incredibly frustrated by the lack of customer service. I was given a 1p ETA and the battery ended up coming about 24 hours after.

Literally the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I ordered a battery at 8:30am and was given a 2 he estimate of arrival. At 1030 no one showed and so I chatted with their rep who told me there was a delay "because of rain"--okay, whatever. We live in Portland so it rains all the time and I guess that means they're always late. 3 hours later still not tech and no call or text so I reached out again: this time the excuse was theyre short staffed but promised they'd be there soon. Flash forward to 4:30 and it's getting dark, I've waited all day because they have my credit card # and assure me they're en route but their tech had car trouble. 8:30pm they tell me their tech is really unreliable and whoever told me to continue waiting shouldn't have done that. Wtf?? I cancelled the order. The next morning after I called AAA who promptly and professionally replaced my battery, I get several messages saying my tech is on the way with my battery. I'm at work, mind you, and these people cannot get it together. I finally lost it and told them to F off. Then, for the FIRST time since this fiasco began I get a response: "we're not responsible for your battery being dead. You could have used Lyft or Uber. Things escalate at this point and the final response I got was "a cancelled order means nothing to us". They are absolute garbage and their reps are garbage people. Save your time, your sanity, and your money. Call ANYONE else but them.

Not sure if this is a joke or not but I'm on day two of waiting on you guys to fix my battery situation. The guy came out put the battery in but lost a piece that secures it and took the bracket that locks the battery in place. Was on hold for an hour and told I would be contacted and am still waiting. One of the worst experiences I've ever had working with a company

Zero Stars should be an option. I scheduled an "appointment" with you today to have a new battery installed at 4 pm, I scheduled this appointment at 10:30 this morning. Calling an appointment is a joke, I didn't receive any communication until I spent 20 minutes waiting on hold an another 45 trying to chat online only to find out at 4:45 that the tech was "a couple hours out" and would call me when he was 30 minutes away. Its not 8 pm have received not call and your offices are closed and no one is responding to the chat even though you flash a message on the screen saying you'll be helped in 0-1 minute. I have to call again just to find out your offices are closed and good luck getting my battery changed in time for my appointments tomorrow. You call this a business practices? This is what pick and choose what business you decide to honor and the rest of us are screwed? I understand there's rain in Portland, welcome to the Pacific Northwest. If I schedule an appointment at 4 pm I deserve ATLEAST a phone call or notification if its not going to happen ESPECIALLY when it won't even happen the same day. This isn't a convenience, its at YOUR convenience. Thanks for literally making my day that much worse.

Horrible service. Installed wrong battery for car (2007 honda accord SE) and when I asked him if that was the right battery during installation he said yes even though it didn't look right. Repair guy was rude. And when I called customer service the manager said yeah it's known he is like that. A week later car wouldn't start and my state farm roadside service tech laughed at the small battery that they installed in my car. Said it maybe would work for a Honda fit not a Honda accord. Seeking replacement battery for correct one or refund asap please call me
