“Hopeless- 3 parcels to be delivered in the last week, problems with all of them. Without doubt the worst delivery company in existence. They lie about your parcels attempted delivery and ignore their own time slots. I will contact the seller to try to persuade them to change their delivery company.”

“I booked a delivery for 5th December. I took a day off, waited at home the whole day. At 5PM, i got a sms saying "we tried to deliver your item but you were not at home". It is a lie because I was at home the whole day and nobody rang at my door. Besides, there is no card in my letterbox which proved your driver never came to my home. It is unacceptable, very poor customer service. I paid extra for DHL delivery, I wasted one day holiday because of that. On top of that, I had to call DHL to rebook a delivery and it cost me an extra £5.”
“This company can be relied upon, time after time, to provide the worst customer service possible. They have never delivered a package to me without some problem. Today I've waited in all day to find they claim to have delivered it at 2pm this afternoon. Where they have delivered it to I've no idea... utterly incompetent.
I assume that they provide a cheap service... otherwise I can't see why anyone would use them.”

Driver said he had delivered my item, even signed my name (!)
I was in all the time but no card left or anything.
This was after a no show delivery yesterday for the same item....totally useless and incompetent.

“This company must be employing ex SAS stealth delivery men because they texted me to say they had tried to deliver a parcel but managed to evade the driveway CCTV and the video doorbell. Obviously parcel delivery was not attempted but all you get off the call centre is the delivery was attempted. I'm going to pick the parcel up from the depot and contacting the sender to request their money back as DHL did not fulfil the promised contract. An absolute shambles of a firm but I have to add all delivery companies are on a path to the lowest possible contender. Its a shame I cannot pick negative stars :-) as this utter shower of **** would have got minus 5*”

Waited in for a delivery only to receive a message to say I was away. LIE! Spoke to two customer service people. One stated it would be delivered that evening and to phone in an hour if I didn't hear anything. I phoned back and was told it wouldn't be delivered that day. Booked it for a sat delivery. Checked tracking info but nothing to show that so phoned the next day to find out it hadn't been booked or noted on the system. Was told sat it would be delivered and driver would phone when outside. Guess what....that never happened. Instead was delivered to a neighbour on the mon.
Disgusted with the way I was treated and not surprised to read mostly bad reviews about the company.

“Apparently the delivery driver delivered to a different address which is half way down my street and someone signed my surname but it wasn't me knocked on address that I was told by DHL the parcel want to and they havnt got it either so I've lost 300 pounds worth of goods obv stolen by the driver how dare the driver sign my surname the police will be contacted”

Left clear instructions for safe delivery. Ignored. Caught the driver on CCTV, rings bell, tries external post box and is quickly off down the driveway.
Just CAUGHT him.

They just want to walk up the path and back down again without waiting for a door to be answered or to follow instructions. Thanks for waiting for a disabled customer to answer a door.

“I missed my pick up yesterday 3hrs later by God’s will I pumped into a driver on my school run to question him. Upon what I do next as I missed my pick up that morning the driver took it upon his self on his break to go to my house and pick up my package. To my relief I was so impressed he was so polite. And I have never had an experience like this with any other company very impressed with DHL driver was incredibly polite happy and more than willing to make me the customer happy but got him to do that is very kind and left me feeling very happy proved there’s still good people out there’s thank you DHL for employing people with a great work ethic will defo be using again”
“Had a delivery due today for a oven between 7am and 7 pm item has not arrived and no explanation as to why have tried to call dhl and just get told to leave a message for a call back absolute shambles of a company disgusting they can’t even have the decency to give a Curtisy call to say why they can’t deliver I now have no cooker too. A day lost in wages waiting in and £30 pound short on take away I urge anyone that is requiring delivery’s or shipments never to use this company 1 star is far to much”
“Waited a day and a half to receive delivery, DHL offered no time slot for first or second deliveries . Did not receive any specific information from; text,website, live chat, telephone conversations with DHL customer service, or delivery driver. The best DHL could offer was delivery by "End of Day". DHL must realise that working customers can't afford the time, to wait for end of day deliveries This company is way behind in its customer service practices compared to its rivals, would not use them again”

“very poor service from DHL PARCELS UK I send a gift with DHL to my bad in Spain the parcel was delivered 4 days late and the box and item were badly damaged i complained to DHL it took 8 weeks for my claim to be reviewed and paid* ather 1 week of getting the email saying my claim had been paid i still had no payout so I emailed again and they said it would send now it has been 10 weeks since claim was made and only just got payout”
“No option to contact to tell them that my doorbell doesn't work. I am not even sure if they attempted to deliver my item. Their depot was closed during working hours and they wasted two hours of my life. Additionally, they lied to me that they will try to deliver my item and I took a day off work only to find out that I have to go collect it from their depot again.”
“Despite the perfect timing, I did specifically ask to the DHL call centre if I could pay for an insurance as I was sending Italy-UK an antique XIX century French picture frame that has been in my family for 50 years. I have been told from them that that would have been only possible if I had the frame receipt, which I couldn't possible have.
So after double checking with them that the package was made according to their rules and put the picture frame in between two layers of plywood back and front, before and after having wrapped the object into two rolls of bubble wrap, glued two huge "fragile" notes on the parcel, and having personally told to the DHL delivery person to please be careful, the picture frame yes arrived in perfect time but quite damaged, with many cracks, some broken parts all around in need of restauration. I am so disappointed that I am not going to use this service again or not recommend it.”
