“Worst courier company I've ever known!
Lost my parcel 3 times in their own depot, then left it in a "safe place" for the recipient but forgot to leave card saying where the safe place was.
Now they tell me the driver was an agency driver and has left and to submit a lost parcel claim which I did and they rejected it despite me providing all receipts and them acknowledging it was their fault!
If you speak to customer service on the phone they just advise to email, no managers available generally just don't care at all.
I'll never use them again.”
“Parcel did not arrive, I stayed in all day waiting and checking the tracking details periodically. Eventually received an email 17:05 to say that they could not deliver. Phoned customer services straight away, which they charge 7p per minute for,and was told that the driver attempted delivery but I was not in. Driver couldn't come back as he was nearly back at his depot.. They are all a bunch of liars who could not be bothered to carry out their duties for which they are being paid.”
“In Germany DHL offers to deliver your parcels to a so called "Packstation". But they often fail to do so. They could at least bring your parcel to the next post office outlet. Instead they just bring it to some post office outlet which is often a long way from the original destination. If you ask them to move the parcel to a destination close to the original one they will refuse.”
“Shocking treatment texted me to say I was not home, when I was . then after 3 different telephone calls I managed to track them down and they refused to talk to me avoid them ... shouldn’t be allowed to handle parcels a total bunch of update on this dhl claim to nothing to do with parcel uk in a recorded conversation ...... parcel uk attempt to deliver my par el in a different town and a different street not even similar names ..,total idiots and should not be allowed to handle our parcels we pay for this service !
if my parcel goes missing I will take them to the claims court . I have tried speaking with you ,my wife has tried and the sender has also tried. Your company need its license to operate taking away .useing dhl name must be fraud.
A update after speaking with mark b I was assured delivery would take place today and everything was in order in fact the driver would phone me should ther be any problems ...he did not bother too ...apparently they can’t find my house now ....some delivery firm best to avoid seams there incompetent”
“DHL offer you a chance to arrange the delivery if you missing the parcel for any reason, via internet on their web site DHL.co.uk/on-demand but when you try to do this the message it's:Delivery option it's not possible because your shipment has been delivered .
On this situation the only option it's to call them and try to arrange something over the phone.

“Not at all happy! I was at home awaiting delivery - nothing arrived! The driver took a photo of my neighbour's driveway and we searched everywhere for the card he said he left but did not find one. The table I ordered had to be cancelled as I needed it for the next day. We had to buy one locally at a higher price - very unhappy!!”
“Delivery was not made as they said they did not have the full address, but I was tracking the parcel on their system and after receiving an email to say I was next to be delivered this was followed 15 minutes later saying they did not have the address so could not deliver. This is the fourth parcel that have failed to deliver to me. Normal reason is I was out. Last time I cutting the hedge in my front garden and when I checked my phone I had a message saying they had tried to deliver but no one was home.
I will no longer buy from a company that use DHL or their UK Mail sister company.”
“Terrible service from a terrible company. Despite leaving signature release the driver did not leave the parcel. Then found out if I need to speak to DHL have to phone an 0844 number that DHL actually profits from so not only do DHL mess up your delivery, they then charge you to phone them to sort out their incompetency. And if you try to leave review on their own website similar in nature to this one an automated block comes up saying that they don't accept comments of this nature. A total sham. And in this day and age, DHL making you wait in all day is truly behind the times. Companies need to use other carriers as DHL truly is awful!”
“Got home to find missed delivery notice saying parcel has been left in the porch. I don’t have a porch! Front door opens onto the street. Parcel isn’t anywhere. No-one is answering phone. No way of finding missing parcel. This company knows that they have appalling service so they create a system whereby you can’t get hold of anyone to sort out your problem. Disgraceful.”

Tax Invoices never arrive with parcel, and to get them is a nightmare. Often the amount on the Tax Invoice differs to the ProForma. Absolute nightmare.”

“4 times we ordered in Germany and should be delivered by DHL but this company is one of the shit.it was never delivered to our flat even without a notice when he was trying or where we can find it or when he tried.it always was searching by ourselves where is our package and we paid for service,fantastic.Now I`m waiting since wednesday that means since 5days to deliver to me because they sent email that they will deliver at wednesday and the delivery status didn`t change since that.My item is waiting since 5days in a depot about 50km away.Unacceptable!!!!”
“I will never ever use dhl ever again. They have been hounding me by email, text, phone calls and now by letter for duty and vat charges on goods I never received for over 3 months now (from goods ordered in dec 2017, it's now end of March 2018). DHL are now threatening to pass my details to a debt collection agency!! An absolutely apalling, unprofessional, inconsiderate and disgraceful customer service and that's putting it mildly.”
“During adverse weather conditions I received parcels from, Hermes, Royal Mail, UPS with no problems. It took DHL 3 days to get a parcel from one side of Preston to the other. I travelled roads myself and there was no real excuse.”
“I order a pair of shoes from overseas. DHL added the incorrect duty onto the delivery (the maximum possible I might add!). I had to personally correct the staff member through my own research into South African customs and duty. Then their on-line system was not updated with the new costs based on the correct duty, so I had to make an electronic payment and send through proof of payment. The whole fiasco extended delivery time considerably.”
“I received in the last few months, several parcels shipped by DHL Express International from Singapore to Europe. Each time, tracking was excellent and delivery incredibly fast. I had to have one of the parcels delivered to a relay point and while giving the information the very day it had to be delivered, it went smoothly.
Very, very good multiple experiences of this service.”
