“So many times this year I've had incidents with them and the support was terrible. The last one, they didn't ring and left the package at a depot. The depot doesn't have it. After digging through their website, I finally find a phone number, but after answering the questions of their German-speaking AI, can't get to talk to someone who speaks English so I send a text message and they say their system says the package is at the depot. I try again and they say it's not there. As far as I know, the package is lost and they won't take responsibility.
One time my package was deposited in a box and it took me a week to get them to send me the code to retrieve it.”
“Very few delivery companies are totally reliable or great but DHL are by far the worst. Rubbish customer services, never deliver on time, last minute after waiting in all day you receive update at end of schedule delivery date saying 'on hold' or delayed, sometimes parcels left outside door in rain without driver knocking on door, tracking is useless, customer service worse. Cannot understand why so many supposedly reputable companies use this dreadful, appalling non-service.”

“Their tracking is horrible. Never have had a good experience getting something that's shipped via DHL. Now I'm waiting for a shipment and it's stuck somewhere in Florida my "4day shipment" is going to be 8 days which sucks because it's gonna get to me late.”
“Not sure where to start, but let me give it try:
1. Delay: they delayed my shipping for over a week for no obvious reason (haven't received anything at the time of writing).
2. Address finding: They failed to locate my address in a central resi street in Zone 1, Central London. The reason, they said, is that it doesn't come up on Google maps (guys, are you sure you are postmen?). Just for the record, I never had any problems with any delivery before.
3. Lying: I asked them to ring my mobile phone, to which they agreed, in case my buzzer didn't work. They never called me; however the customer serviced insisted that they had called me.
4. Awful Customer services: half hour in the waiting line (at least). I had to call them 5 times in one week - you do the math.
5. Non-existent formal complaint process. I asked to be transferred to a manager in order to escalate my complaints. I was on hold for another 20 minutes then something funny happened: the adviser (Selina her first name) asked me and made sure I didn't remember her details and simply hung up. On. My. Face.”
“Package was on hold Nov 29th called to get it resolved they said no action needed package will be delivered and of course nothing was delivered. Called again next day to complain they wrote a ticket someone one call me and let me know updates to release the hold. Nothing happened no call receive then I called throughout the day 6 times and each representative which was HORRIBLE at helping me said the exact same thing. Now on dec 1st I called again they said supervisor will call you 3 times and I am still waiting for the package to be released. On top of them 4 out of the 10 representatives hung up on me while I was talking. DHL worst shipping carrier on earth.”
“Several times I had issues with DHL, so this time I decided to make a review about it. I was waiting for a delivery for a looong time, I got an e-mail from DHL that they would deliver it on Monday, so I stayed home and nothing. In the evening I got an email saying that it was delivered, but it wasan't! So they take other 3 days for an update and they say they will try to deliver again (when they never did the first time). So I stay home again and nothing. They said they tried to deliver and I wasan't home and send the package all they way back! After one (if real) attempt! They did not try to leave the package with the neighbours (althout I was home) and only tried once before sending it back. Extremely poor and unreliable service and company!”
“DHL picked up a big box package from my house on 1/12/2021 at 1:42pm. I have a video to prove the pick up. DHL lost the package. They first claimed there was no such pick up. And then they said they did found a separate system to confirm the pick up. But they said there was no AWB scanned. So, the AWB # did not exist for DHL to trace and track.
They said I sent the package via an agent and therefore an "assignment of rights" is required. I sent it to them, they declined my claim because I am not the agent. The agent filed a claim and they also declined stating "DHL has no record of the.... waybill in any DHL system".
I made the complaint all the way up to the DHL Office of the President, but was sent back to the claim department.
I made the complaint via BBB.org. Same person from DHL Office of the President finally replied stating that "our records show that shipment in question was picked up on Jan 21, 2021 as the customer stated but unfortunately there was a malfunction with the courier's scanner and visibility on the shipment was lost. The local DHL Management Team exhausted all means to locate the shipment and it was declared lost. The status of any claim filed by the shipping service with DHL is a separate matter unrelated to the transaction between the shipping service and the customer". END OF STORY.DHL claim department will not reopen the case. DHL Office of the President ignored my request to reopen the claim.
So, there is no responsibility whatsoever. Why am I suffering when DHL scanner malfunctions? Isn't it easy for any DHL couriers/workers/warehouse personnel to steal packages without any consequences?”

“Parcel delivered to local store Friday I went to collect Saturday to be told pick up code incorrect ie not long enough.
Calls to dhl began Saturday to be told they would contact supplier that advised pick up code and supplier could store to arrange pick up with proof of identity!!!
Now a week later parcel still not collected, submitted complaint to dhl by email, phone and facebook but the DHL are as useful as a chocolate fire guard.
Resigned myself to fact parcel will be returned to m&s and card will be credited.

I checked it constantly then suddenly out of the blue an entry said the driver couldn’t access my property? I live in a street of detached houses out of town. anyway my parcel has disappeared now.
when i ring DHL customer services were friendly and do admit they were at fault, but tell me my seller has to deal with it.
no reply's yet from them ,but it took me ages to get through to them on their phone system and cost me money on hold waiting.
something should have been sorted there and then but now im out of pocket, all because courier put my parcel in an open hallway , i am not happy at all .”
