Absolute Scam this company is! I don't know how one simple, low valued parcel can go so wrong! It was delayed 3 weeks, because they changed my paperwork from a private individual to their business name on an international shipment I have now been charged duty when I should not have been. You simply can not contact anyone in their customer service team, trust me I've tried repeatably. I now have an "additional charge", despite giving exact parcel measurements on their site, but their site isn't clever enough to work out volumetric weight, so I now have to pay? I would have never purchased this service as it would have been to expensive. This is a sneaky way of getting sales, they lie! Because they messed up the paperwork I have had to pay double for this parcel and they have caused unnecessary delays. Instead of 3-5 days it took over 3 weeks. Parcel Monkey has blamed everyone else, but themselves... Absolute Rubbish Service, back to Parcel2Go or WeDeliverThe World for me.

Only giving one star because there is no no star option. Collection not made and shown as cancelled on the link THEY sent me but when contacted they insisted that it was not cancelled and that the person who had waited all day should wait for another 2 hours for a collection that never happened. No explanation, no apology of any real note and no compensation. Wish I'd read the reviews on this site before booking!

Parcel Monkey failed to collect my package and then wouldn't explain the reason and refused compensation. I paid extra for the 24 hour service and I felt like that was just a rip off.

Avoid this company at all cost. Spectacularly bad service. They're happy to take your money, however they have zero customer service. They do not even have a call centre yet as they put it. So impossible to speak with them. They have live chat facility which is a total waste of time, they basically tell you whats on their website, thats it. Snd emailing customer help results in nothing happening. In my case i paid for international shipping 4-5 days. Nothing happend the parcel is in the abyss and I'm losing money daily as a result. Avoid this company not a credible service, just a shambles of an attempt at being a middle man. I strongly advise avoid this joke service and go direct to an actual courier with a real service and phone lines.

we are very disappointed by parcel monkey. they were very fast to took money and no any actions after, communication very poor and now no any communication at all. We have 3 weeks head ache already : no money and no parcel and no any answers from company :( Be careful before ordering service!!!

Disgusting service. Due to collect Tuesday didn't arrive, Wednesday didn't arrive, Thursday didn't arrive, Friday sent 1 person without enough room on his van to pick up a jukebox, had to arrange alternative and now having to fight like mad to get a refund. Do not go near this company

Booked to have a parcel picked up and no one showed up. Parcel monkey don't have a telephone number so I had to argue things out over web chat. After over an hour I found out that their sustems failed to generate a tracking number to odd to the courier and so the courier never bothered to turn up - a day's holiday for nothing! Then I was told that they couldn't re-book as it had been over 5 business days (!!!!!!). After a lot of to-ing and fro-I got I find out that that according to them it had been more than 5 business days between me booking the pickup online and having them come out to actually pick up. Even though I actually selected the date - that's doesn't matter. After cancelling this stupid brain of mine realised that it had only been 4 business days. So when I called them up on it and told them that I had based my decision on incorrect info they had given me, their response was "it cancelled now, nothing can be done about it. If you want a collection you will have to re-book". Stay away. The concept of customer service is a myth with these people.

Firstly,to be fair to PM they cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries or collections 99.9% of the time,they are just the agent,but if ever you have a problem it is just as the title says. Unfortunately after having problems with them in the past I was a bit stupid for using them again based solely on their price which can be a false economy long term. You will report a problem, receive a message saying sorry for the inconvenience and after that you will spend time chasing them up for information and trying to get them to fulfill their promises of contacting whoever the courier might be.In my case a parcel was sent to China,perfectly legal to send with all the relevant paperwork,and a few weeks later it was returned to me unopened exactly as I sent it and these people could or would not tell me why.Luckily I used a drop of service with a courier I know to be reliable with China deliveries,if I had it collected I fear I would have lost the item and also shipping costs to Parcel Monkey as per their T&C's..Because the contract is with PM the courier can only give limited information and in my case there was no reason from their side to return the parcel.A while back they started describing themselves a "Price comparison" site which is a bit of red herring, maybe to try and abdicate their obligations as an agent ,, comparison sites I use link me to the service provider I choose.I perfectly understand the need for a company to protect itself from fraud but if and when you eventually get fed up with the fob offs and decide to contact somebody who might be concerned with providing good customer service,the CEO,you will be very lucky,if at all, to get any response.After 4 weeks I got back MOST of my shipping costs back but lost a good customer and because of all these things will never use PM again even if it costs me a little bit more in postage costs with one of the many other shipping agents out there most of which you can actually talk to if there are any problems and try their best to rectify if possible.

They are rubbish. Sent an item 4 weeks ago and not delivered yet. I insured my shipment and they still refuse to pay my money back.

Regrettably with a middle-man service like Parcel Monkey, what you save in pounds, you lose in accountability. We contracted them to return a surplus item to a retailer. Parcelmonkey's partner, DX failed to collect on the agreed day (my wife stayed home all day.) They arrived unannounced the following morning after we suggested that we'd need to reschedule via chat. Fortunately she had popped home for a couple of hours. DX then so thoroughly destroyed the packaging that the goods were damaged and rejected on delivery and we are faced with a loss of £129 for the goods, plus the £44 we paid for their service. Despite the goods being in the shipping packaging that they were received in, which was perfectly adequate for the trip to us, and despite the representative of DX taking a picture of the package on collection and having no issues with the way it was packaged, Parcelmonkey have declined to take responsibility for their partner's extremely careless treatment of the package. Bitterly disappointed.

I carefully checked multiple providers before choosing Parcel Monkey in conjunction with dpd to send my package to India. I used postal scales to weigh it and carefully measured the exact dimensions before rounding them up to the next centimetre. When booking, I was forced to agree to pay extra should my measurements be incorrect. I did this as I knew that my measurements were very correct. Although the package was delivered undamaged and on time, Parcel Monkey issued a surcharge claiming that the package was measured by a laser and found to be oversized after waiting days until after it was received (so that I could not get photographic evidence of the size and weight). My card has already been charged. The service since has been pathetic and I have now seen online that so many people have fallen for the trickery of this company. Unbelievably I have evidenced that that block people with genuine complaints on social media. This kind of trickery annoys me immensely. I would rather be told the correct price at the start even it was more. It is the last time that I will use Parcel Monkey and dpd and I have already probably told ten people the story and will tell many more.. Cheating customers is not the way to run a business and despite a short term gain, they will loose much more. Twitter and Facebook next.

Did not deliver my package to China back in March 2017. When I finally got enough information from Shanghai, China customs I had been informed the parcel had been sent back to the UK on the 22nd of May. 1 month later my parcel has not been returned to the sender address and Parcel Monkey keep responding with 'We'll look into it'. I need my items back safe and sound. I suspect that they've lost my package but won't admit to it. Terrible service, terrible communication all around. I will not use again and strongly recommend customers to buy DIRECTLY through a courier service directly and NOT a middleman like Parcelmonkey.

Completely unreliable and incompetent: On 20th May I paid 93£ for a collection scheduled for 25th May, for a shipment from the UK to Italy. They did not come to collect my parcel neither on 25th nor on 26th. I waited all day, both on 25th and on 26th. They new that I would go back to Italy on Sunday, 28th, so the parcel had to be collected on 25th May. So I asked to rebook the collection on 30th May, but they told me it was not possible anymore and the only solution was to cancel my order and send me the refund. It is 31st May and I am stil waiting for my refund. I sent two emails these last two days but they have not replied. Nobody keeps me updated. I am very frustrated for this terrible service and probably I will never receive my money back! I am living a nightmare because of this! Terrible experience...

Be warned. After one week of NOT collecting my parcel from my local post office, loads of messages from me, they have now come back and demanded MORE MONEY because apparently its needs more wrapping. Parcel Monkey UK does NOT have a phone number. Customer services are all online and bloody hopeless. I now have no package and am out nearly £30 and NO reply from Parcel Monkey. Be warned, when things go wrong, THEY GO REALLY WRONG and there is NOTHING you can do about it. I am out my item and my money now. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to send a parcel to India, Parcel Monkey issued a tracking number which they'd used previously and the contract courier they used returned the parcel to Parcel Monkey. Parcel Monkey then demanded £5 to return my parcel. When I pointed out that it was their mistake they tried to say the parcel contained banned items; which was rubbish - I have an email from their contact courier saying it was Parcel Monkey's fault. Eventually they offered a partial refund and would not reply to emails. This company is well named, they handle parcels and its run by monkeys. Avoid!

I post a parcel value at £50, its cost £7.49 to send. Parcel monkey allegedly attempt delivery twice & then say they are returning the parcel to me, Only they dont return it to me & they send it to their southampton depo. They are now demanding delivery for a charge of £16.14 or they say I drive the 100+ miles to collect them or they have offered to "dispose" of the parcel. No where did it say that this is what would happen if the parcel was not delivered, what kind of sham company is this? I would recommend NEVER using this complete bunch of cunts as they are all a bunch of crooks. Incidentally there was some one to sign for the parcel when they attempted delivery but they decided not to let the person sign. So what the fuck is going on? is this even legal? Maybe someone (ME) should report Parcelmonkey to trading standards or WATCHDOG. Absolutely disgusting company - will NEVER EVER USE AGAIN

I had a very bad experience with Parcel Monkey my first try out. I had a retailer who buys bulk from us and wanted to see if we could get lower cost shipping (we are in US). Besides a terrible website I couldn't select sufficient insurance. The package was shipped via FedEx (they subcontracted) and was lost in route after the first sorting facility. I had several discussion with their "chat service" and it was always we'll raise the issue. It shipped March 9 2017 and on April 3 2017 they said the only thing I could do is snail mail a complaint (no e-mail available). I will did this but no response as of May 1st 2017. This experience has been terrible and my UK customer was not happy either. I have talked with FedEx and they agree they would cover the cost of goods but Parcel Monkey must make the claim and they won't communicate. I'm out $275 in product plus shipping and they won't respond to the e-mail or chats beyond canned responses. No phone number if available. I ship 100's of packages a month and several large packages a week to retailers. Never had such a problem with UPS, FedEx, USPS . .. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. very disappointed Ken F Reply
