They sold me parking tickets that were not the way they were advertised. They said they were selling me parking tickets AT the venue but instead it was 20 mins away. They did absolutely nothing to help me and I couldn’t even get my money back (mind you it was 100$ because of the ridiculous extra fees). So rude, not helpful and a scam.”
“I bought my ticket in March for the Neil Young concert May 23rd at Huntington Bank Northerly Pavilion in Chicago. I paid $119.50 in fees on top of a $325 ticket. I have to travel there and pay for 2 nights at a hotel. I don’t want to travel there without my ticket. I have talked to Stub Hub several times. The first time they said if I don’t have my ticket a week before the concert they would contact the seller and ask the seller to send me my ticket. So I called a week before and this time they said the venue won’t be releasing the tickets until a day or two or possibly the day of the concert. How is it possible a venue can release all the tickets at once like that? I feel like an idiot for buying my ticket from this site. They know it’s really true there is a sucker born every minute.”
“I accidentally ordered my daughter’s graduation present tickets to a concert. I meant to order the Zach Bryan tickets in Oklahoma and that is the page I was on. So I ordered them and my daughter called me and said I order the ones in Texas!! We don’t live in Texas and her graduation present is ruined because you won’t cancel this order or try to figure out how to switch them to Oklahoma!!! They were false advertising. Tickets didn't go on sale for 10 more day. Called twice and all I've gotten is angry. “Someone hacked my account and stole my tickets and stub hub said it's my fault and will not honor my purchase or refund my money. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS. And to top it off, yesterday I spoke to a supervisor who told me they would remove the tickets from the persons account who took them and reissue them to me. Today I get a call that the supervisor who told me this was incorrect and that technically the tickets are out there twice and I have a 50/50 shot of getting into the show. They do not care nor cover their customers as it relates to theft. If you use StubHub BEWARE. If anything happens they DO NOT stand by their FanProtect policy. They are fine with their customers having their money and tickets STOLEN and FRAUDULENT activity occurring on their site because they got their cut so they could care less about YOU the customer. On the day of the event the barcode disappeared and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to come up again, and a month before the concert was supposed to happen they told me that my original seats we're no longer available, even though I had paid for them, and I had to choose different ones. “They charged me for a parking spot that was literally in a vacant lot. They promoted it on the website as "last spot, going fast!" To create urgency. There were many many spots that were free all up and down the streets. It was a Sunday and parking was free. They charged me $75 for this spot in an abandoned lot almost 2 miles from the venue. I paid approximately 1500 plus dollars for my tickets and have no complaints there but they completely scammed me for $75. Scammers. They would not give me back the money after I told them I parked close to the venue for free with no problem and that the lot that they sent me to was abandoned and not a soul was there for $75 they told me it was the last spot and there's not a soul park in the parking lot. I spoke with one customer rep who was honest and said that it happens often and he was going to send it for investigation. They never got back to me after I called them and then I finally called again today and they told me they were going to give me a coupon. I said I want the full amount back and they would not return it saying that it was legitimate spot that they sold. Scam I will never use them again. I advise you not to get involved with this company. There's lots of better ticket sellers. Never had this problem before with another company. I'll never use StubHub again.”
“As a selller in stub hub I find the way they do things is beyond stupid. They review seats by view and price. Mow the way it is done makes no sense. For instance I can have my ticket price at $500 per ticket for 2 tickets my seats can directly center ice say row 8 and it’s rated at 8.1. Tickets same section row 25 say at 525 per ticket for 2 tickets can be rated at like 8.3. Tickets behind the goal same level row 19 rated like 9.4 at lie $500 per ticket. What is the tune and reason for the weird ratings. Do they want certain tickets to go before others.”
“Stubhub is not a trustworthy site. I paid for tickets, never received them. I have been going back and forth with Stubhub, my bank and PayPal. This has been going on for 9 months with multiple phone calls and messages and they still refuse my refund. I cannot provide proof for the tickets as I never received anything except the receipt for payment. Never again. Ticket Master here I come!!!”

Drive all the way down there, pay 50 bucks for parking and walk to arena and my tickets weren’t delivered. You will never get hold of anyone at this chop shop. “I have been calling Stubhub for over 2 months asking about my tickets. My concert is in another state and now 13 days away. I am getting different information every day from Emmanuel or Dave or Kevin or whoever doesn't speak English that day answers the phone. I have asked repeatedly to have my money refunded and or the tickets given to me today and have received nothing. Stubhub is the absolute worst service I have ever dealt with! “BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased tickets from Subhub a month before a concert a little over $1500 for two tickets . After the transaction I was notified that I would not receive my tickets until 24 hours before the event ( I immediately had a gut feeling I was about to get scammed ). I called stub hub asking why and they said it was to prevent fraud , what a joke . If it stated tickets would be delivered 24 hours before the event at check out I would have NOT purchased the tickets . On the day of the concert I was told I would receive my tickets at 2pm then it changed to 5pm EST mind you The concert started at 8pm
Guess what …….No tickets were ever transferred . I was on the phone with Stubhub for over and hour. That includes 40 minutes on hold , multiple “dropped calls “ and talking to clueless representatives who knew I would never get my tickets . I was told they could not get in contact with the seller.
No case number , no comparable tickets nothing!
Thank goodness I was able to purchase tickets through my company on another site for cheaper as I was on my 40 minute hold . I should have purchased from them in the beginning,
I called my credit card company and reported the fraud . They removed the charges.
2 days after I did receive a refund from Stub Hub. My advice to anyone; if you’re going to purchase tickets use a CREDIT CARD ONLY or PAYPAL where you have purchase protection.
NO DEBIT CARDS BETTER YET DON’T USE THEM AT ALL. It’s not worth the stress , headache and disappointment.”
“Buyer beware. If something goes wrong your money is gone. Absolutely fraudulent business. Their reviews speak for themselves. After realizing I was unable to attend an event I purchased tickets for I put those tickets up for sale. I never received those tickets so I was unable to forward to the buyer. This was months before the event. I called Stub Hub for months in an attempt to recieve those tickets. I was told I would receive them a week prior, then a 5 days prior, then the day prior to the event. The day before the event, I still had no tickets. I called them and told them I had to get this transaction done because within 12 hours I would be on a plane and would not be able to forward those tickets to my perspective buyer. The representative told me, Stub hub would do the transfer for me since I'd never received those tickets. Assuming this issue was taken care of I never checked my email. Hours prior to the event I was in the air and the order came through. I called stub hub and argued with a representative for an hour and a half who was convinced I was a liar until I finally convinced him to play back their recorded call. I gave him the date, time, and duration of the call. After putting me on hold he came back and apologized. He'd heard the previous representative tell me Stub hub would do my transfer for me. Then he escalated the case. I asked for a case number. He couldn't provide one. I called for several weeks to check the progress and was finally told Stub hub will not be reimbursing me regardless of their mistake. I spent $486 on tickets I never received, I was misinformed, then refused refund. This process lasted months. I disputed it with all evidence to my credit card company who reimbursed me in full. Stub hub took money, lied, gave no service, and dropped my calls. Complete failure from start to finish. There's a word for this type of business.......fraud.”
“Stubhub basically a lower level of street sculpting. I recently purchased some event tickets, descriptions clearly showed 1 child ticket, and they ended up sending me all child tickets. The worst part, is they 100% backing the seller with the false advertisement, and when I called for a complaint, supervisor refused to talk to me. Instead they recommended to put it back to online and scam someone the same way. NEVER AGAIN!!”
“I am extremely disappointed in StubHub. On May 2, 2024 I ordered 2 tickets to the Sleep Token concert at Red rocks amphitheatre. Notifications sent to my email stated that my tickets would be delivered on the day of the Concert which was May 12, 2024. My tickets were not delivered. The tickets that I purchased were almost $400 in value and I had to call customer service no less than four times to attempt to get my tickets. The person who sold the tickets to me never sent them. On top of that, although all of your customer service representatives were very nice, there was very little communication about my tickets or their delivery. Furthermore, I was given an option to accept substitute tickets that were over $100 less than the tickets I purchased on May 2nd.
My wife and I missed the beginning of the concert because I didn't have tickets. I live 2 hours away from the concert venue but without tickets we didn't go when we should have. Tickets were given to me after the venue Showtime had already started and a full 81 minutes after Gates opened. This is extremely ridiculous and I will be sure to leave scathing reviews on every platform that I have access to. At this point I feel as though I need at least a 50% refund because I missed half of a concert that I paid almost $400 for. I can't believe StubHub failed so badly. This concert was a Mother's Day gift to my beautiful wife who is the mother of our two amazing daughters. We planned a wonderful evening, with tickets bought 10 days in advance. A night that was supposed to be a gift turned out to be absolutely horrible. The entire experience was stressful and left us both feeling uncertain and taken advantage of. My wife and I missed almost all of a once-in-a-lifetime concert because StubHub failed us. I truly appreciate the fact that this Mother's Day was one to remember due to the inability of StubHub to stand by their services. I will be expecting an actual resolution to this. I don't want a discount on future tickets or events. I will NEVER use StubHub again. I wouldn't use StubHub to purchase tickets to a Bingo Night Raffle. I want a refund of at least 50% sent to that same account that I used to purchase tickets in the first place. I have no faith in StubHub and I truly hope that nobody else has to experience the sadness and disappointment that my wife went through on a day that was supposed to be dedicated to showing her how much the people in her life appreciate her. Good job StubHub. Do better.”
