“I'm writing to warn others about our terrible experience purchasing FIFA game tickets through StubHub for this Friday's match in Dallas.
Issue #1 - Misleading Listing:
We purchased 2 tickets that were clearly advertised as "FIRST ROW" seating. Only after completing our purchase did we discover this was false. StubHub allows sellers to falsely advertise seating locations with no accountability.
Issue #2 - Hidden Ticket Delivery Policy:
At NO point before charging our card did StubHub inform us that we wouldn't receive our tickets until THE DAY BEFORE the event. This critical information was buried in fine print we only discovered after purchase.
Why This Matters:
We live out of state and need to book flights and hotels. How can we confidently make non-refundable travel arrangements when we have no guarantee we'll actually receive our tickets until 24 hours before the game?
StubHub claims they'll "refund us if tickets don't arrive" - but that doesn't cover our airline tickets, hotel reservations, or the time wasted. This is completely unacceptable for out-of-town buyers.
Bottom Line:
StubHub's policies protect sellers and the platform - NOT buyers. If you're traveling for an event, I strongly recommend purchasing directly from the venue or using a more transparent ticket marketplace.
