“Horrible Experience – Buyer Beware
I purchased tickets through StubHub back in November for both the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games in Chicago at the end of March. These were supposed to be the same seats for both events, which was a big part of why I booked them.
By Monday, March 23rd—just days before the Friday games—I still hadn’t received my tickets. I contacted customer service and was told they would reach out to the seller and follow up with me. That never happened.
I ended up calling three more times throughout the week and received the same generic response each time: “We’ll contact the seller and keep you posted.” No updates, no accountability.
On Friday, the day of the event, I called again. Shortly after that, I finally received tickets—or so I thought.
The Friday tickets came through correctly.
However, my Sunday tickets were not the same seats I purchased.
Instead of aisle-adjacent seats, I was given seats further back and in the middle of the row.
It’s clear my original tickets were given to someone else.
StubHub advertises a “guarantee” that if tickets become unavailable, they’ll provide equal or better replacements. That did NOT happen in my case.
This experience was stressful, disorganized, and completely unacceptable—especially given the cost of these tickets and the importance of the event.
I will never use StubHub again.

“Got parking pass at a discounted price. However, the site is deceptive by not disclosing all fees and taxes upfront. The user should not have to click on a filter- the seller should provide all info upfront in the price. Even Ticketmaster is now doing this.”
