“I have been a very good StubHub customer for years. I am a Knicks season ticket holder and have sold the same exact seats through StubHub many times without any issue. I have sold a substantial amount of tickets on the platform over the years, including high-value tickets, and I know how this process works.
For this upcoming Knicks game, StubHub deactivated my listing because I cannot upload the tickets yet. But the only reason I cannot upload them is because Madison Square Garden does not release the tickets until three days before the game. I own the tickets. They are my season tickets. This is not unusual, and StubHub should know this. In fact, there are hundreds of other people listing tickets for the same game, and they also could not have uploaded their tickets yet because they are subject to the same Madison Square Garden release rules.
I called customer service to explain the issue. I was told the matter would be expedited immediately. Nobody ever got back to me. I called a second time and was essentially told there was nothing they could do to help me sell tickets that I own, and then I was hung up on. I called a third time and was told again there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and I was placed on hold for 30 minutes. No supervisor ever came on the line.
This is unacceptable. StubHub is preventing a legitimate season ticket holder and long-time seller from listing tickets he owns, while allowing other sellers for the same event to list their tickets under the same circumstances. The customer service was dismissive, unhelpful, and ultimately disrespectful.
I have done a lot of business with StubHub over the years, but this experience has made me not want to do business with this company anymore. If StubHub wants to keep serious sellers, it needs to train its representatives better, apply its policies consistently, and actually resolve issues instead of putting loyal customers on endless hold.”
“I accidently ordered tickets twice! I contacted stubhub and they solved the issue quickly and I got a refund for the extra set of tickets I bought. It was an easy experience and I would buy through them again. Not to mention the tickets were a lot cheaper than anywhere else!”
“I am at best remedial at using my phone to buy tickets. In this case I was able to confirm my purchase, but unable to get a bar code orQRCode or a link. Everyone I communicated assured me I would not be turned away at the ball park. This turned out to be correct and with a help from a friendly Wrigley field staff I was able to get into the game. I felt Stubhub helped me all the way through the process”
“I had a great experience. Bought some tickets for the carin leon concert two hours before the concert and the process was very fast and easy it literally took me 5 minutes to get my tickets. I will definitely buy tickets from Stubhub again 🤗”
