“We wanted an air conditioning unit because of the very hot weather in the UK. Understandably there was very little availability anywhere. AD had a reasonable quality AC for a reasonable price. There were other companies with units available but with a couple of weeks before they could deliver. AD was able to do a next day delivery for £35.00. We were given a 4 hour window for the delivery but unfortunately The delivery driver came an hour late which meant we had waited for most of the day fo the delivery which is annoying. So 4 stars as we are overall satisfied with AD, but not with the delivery”

“Very happy with my purchase of Amberglo 48" wifi fireplace. It makes such a difference to my lounge, looks so cosy now. The remote is rubbish but I downloaded the Tuya smart app on my phone & followed a YouTube set up video. The fire looks great and I've also paired it with Alexa. The fire makes a weird sound meant to resemble wood burning but it sounds more like clockwork gone wrong. No problem though as I've turned it to silent mode. I used next day delivery which was great but a tad expensive at £40!”

“Missing part from Aircon unit. One call (typical on hold) explained issue. Email reply confirming the issue within a couple of hours. Replacement part received in the post with 3 days. Well done”

“On the whole I'm happy with company, though the offer of free removal & recycling of the old fridge was somewhat, I had to pay the £24.98 & then get a refund though customer service. I'd say the delivery driver was the real hero, on his own on a trolley he pulled a fridge freezer up a flight of 14 concrete stairs from the entrance door, give that man pay rise”

“Really poor customer service. Was looking at a quiet model but was not available next day. Found a cheaper model and paid for next day delivery. Never arrived. Decided to cancel the whole order and place a new order with a different company (which turned out to be the same company but under a different name ‘aircon direct’), this order also did not arrive. Ended up asking to cancel both orders. 5 days later order arrived. Had to ask repeatedly for a refund for the duplicate order and could not exchange the unit that arrived (I had used it once to test but it was so noisy). Stuck with it now.”

“Good communications during delivery. Easy to order product. Product seems to be of good quality. Tracking syrem didn't work as my fridge freezer was delivered while the wagon was apparently 5 miles away lol.”

“2 Faulty Electriq AC units and a failure to pick up the unit going back. Been a customer of Appliances Direct for many years but this is the straw that broke the camel's back. Will shop elsewhere for appliances and advise friends to do the same.”

“Ordering the appliance went smoothly but notice of delivery was sent, on the day of delivery after I had left he house, so so it was not delivered. The next delivery attempt was abandoned because I could not provide the "Pin Number" quickly enough (3or4 minutes) so the driver left again with the appliance. There followed a further notice of delivery, I stayed in with the pin number to hand, but no delivery was made. I contacted the delivery Company with little success. I contacted Appliance Direct Customer Services and received fantastic service. I was advised that my appliance was being returned to them, a new appliance was being sent and it arrived on time. So, overall experience 4 Stars but the Courier could have improved the score.”

“Washing machine delivered damaged. The review process is taking too long. In the meantime we are not allowed to use the washing machine, so it has blocked up our kitchen space.”
