“Found ordering and receiving of product excellent. Delivery was earlier than expected. Would thoroughly recommend the product that was purchased which was a Meaco DD8L Junior Dessicant Dehumidifier. It is very well made and efficiently extracts excess moisture.”

“Re: Hotpoint 60cm Double Oven, Electric Cooker (Item Code HDM67V9CMW). Bought this Cooker on 3rd August 2022. This Cooker came with the venting system on the top back which is on show, however, on the website Appliance Direct and Hotpoint failed to inform their customers that the vent on the left side operates the grill and the vent on the right side operates the oven. What they failed to inform the customer is that when cooking any food products in the oven, these vents draw out the oils and the steam from the food causing staining on the vents on the top back of the cooker where they are visible. Hotpoint informed me they could be wiped off, however, unless you use an abrasive, you are unable to remove them. Anything that is abrasive would scratch the enamel, therefore, allowing steam to enter into the enamel and cause rusting. Appliance Direct informed me that because this problem does not come under the warranty, there is nothing they can do. I now have a 2-month-old cooker which has staining, which is visible and will only get worse. I would also like to say that I would never buy another Hotpoint product or use Appliance Direct in the future. Hotpoint has taken no responsibility for this design fault and Appliance Direct have taken no responsibility to inform customers either of this design fault before buying. Think very carefully about buying this product - you have been duly warned.”

“The delivery updates were very efficient and the delivery staff were very helpful However, I was disappointed not to be able to apply a discount code I had been given after placing the order. I was passed from department to department and eventually the conclusion was it was not possible without cancelling the order and reordering.”

“I placed the order with confidence, having bought an item from Appliances Direct before. The delivery was aborted first time but the problem at my end was sorted. The follow up delivery was made a couple of days later. Very efficient service with my old appliance removed and new oven installed. Everything left very tidy. I have had excellent service from the delivery people, who were so nice. Customer services have been so very helpful from start to finish. The price was very competitive. I chose to pay for extra services, removal of old appliance, connection of new. These were also well priced and saved a lot of inconvenience. Very satisfied with my experience, thank you.”

“I got what I requested and paid for. Prompt delivery. Polite and efficient installers with a some obstacles to connect new machine. Slight dent on one side of the dishwasher but tiny and won't be seen and shouldn't affect the working parts.”
