Ordered free trial on 07/01 with next day delivery and now it is nearly Feb and I have still received nothing. Website makes it impossible to cancel and nobody answered the phone when I called. I'd love to leave a review of the beer itself but whether or not it is ever going to arrive remains to be seen. Very disappointing and outraged at the idea of spending nearly £30 a month on this.

Do not sign up! You can’t cancel the subscription online they hold you to ransom by making you call to cancel but here’s the catch...they don’t answer the phone, ever. So you have to get your bank to block further payments. I hate beer52!!

Takes at least 10 minutes to get through to somebody, when I did they said I couldn't cancel as the account wasn't in my name despite it being my payment card (I sent it to a friends address), I was then advised to change it online which I did. When I got through again they had their system had not updated and I still couldn't cancel - not my problem. When questioned how long it takes to get through to somebody they said 2 had called in sick - again not my problem and I've tried calling various days. Both customer advisers were rude and unhelpful, dont use!

An absolute shambles of a company. Poor communication - 6 days and counting to respond to an email Can be contacted by phone if you ring between 9-5 on weekdays and are prepared to sit on hold for ages My wife bought me a gift card - no sign of the beer, no tracking number and they refuse to give me a refund. This is a scam - do not give them your money

Very poor customer service. You either do not get a reply or get a delayed one. The beers are good but delivery is inconsistent. I did not receive a December order (but was charged for it) and was not told why for two weeks. A 'complimentary' box was sent out but this was not received either, and turned out to be a replacement box not a complimentary box. To date I have paid for three boxes and received two, but should have received four! I also have a code for a free box for signing someone else up, but cannot claim it as 'they are out of stock'!

Slow customer service. Cannot cancel on line. This is certainly not no obligation as advertised. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEM - you will be locked in forever.

Beer 52 is a scam. See the previous reviews. They take your money and have not delivered a single item. They need to be arrested for definite. I hope they get what’s coming to them

AVOID!!! I used beer 52 as a received a voucher to receive a case and pay for delivery only and then you are able to cancel subscription. Received one case, half full, £5.95 delivery charge taken off. Tried to cancel subscription through emails and was advised this had been cancelled. I was unable to login using email, facebook and google. A further 2 payments have come off for £24 each and after emailing company I am still awaiting a response! £54 out of pocket for a few tins and a couple of bottles!! AVOID at all costs!!!

Not sure whether these people are dishonest or merely incompetent. Ordered a box on 2 December. It's now 31 December, and have had no beer. It takes about 40 minutes on hold to get through to them on the phone. I've phoned four times to ask about my delivery, and they provide a variety of excuses and promises - most recently that my beer would 'definitely' be delivered on 23 or 24 December. I'll phone them one last time if/when their office reopens after the holidays ('we're currently closed until December 27' - it's the 31st you muppets) to try to get my money bank, but will then report them to my bank as fraudsters. They don't read your emails.

The people behind this company need to be arrested. It is a SCAM! Do not use this company. You pay for beer which you don’t receive, and then you can not unsubscribe without a full day on the phone. Never again. These people are criminals

Definitely avoid this Company! Beer not delivered on date advised by email. Impossible to cancel subscription as no one answers the telephone - tried several times & was on hold 15+ minutes listening to music & adverts. It’s a scam!

Worst Company ever. Never ever answers the phone, after 45mins they then "transferred" me to another team. Nope they just put me on hold again. No one answered. Terrible company.

've had a very disappointing experience with Beer52. I ordered an advent calendar and then called within hours of the order to cancel it but was told it had already been dispatched and that I would have to wait for it to arrive, return it at the post office, and pay for the return shipping. I brought the package to the Royal Mail office the day it arrived to send it back and the employee there told me I wouldn't need any other documentation as it had been scanned in. I contacted the company to let them know it had been returned at the first person I spoke to said it was fine and I would be refunded and then I received an email from a different person saying that I would only be refunded if I had proof of postage, which I did not. It has been almost a month since I sent the package back and somehow it has not been received, not sure how a huge box of 24 beers can go missing. I have continued to have inefficient and disappointing with multiple Beer52 staff and they have essentially said there is nothing they can do so I am now out 70 pounds and have no beer to show for it. I understand that it is not the company's fault if Royal Mail lost or broke the parcel but given my sincere desire to cancel the order and my consistent communication of that fact, I would have thought that I would be offered a refund. Will not be buying from Beer52 again and will not be recommending it to others.

I have subscribed following an offer of free beer after ordering comedy show tickets for my Sons Christmas present. Beer52 have taken money from my account and NO BEER, have emailed them no response. Another scam on the internet by an unscrupulous company. Rip Off Britain

Appalling customer service. Kept on hold for over half an hour. How can any commercial enterprise think that's a good way to treat a customer? Then got through to Carmen who couldn't have been less bothered about my wait and was so rude. Subscription cancelled. I'd say avoid.

Your sales man wouldn't take no for a answer, to get rid of him as I had a night out, I told him to get in touch nearer Xmas so instead of getting in touch with me he took money out my bank account and sent me the beer which is not very nice. The last time I got beer from you I could, t give It away. I recorded the calls so get in touch or the daily record will get back to you about the hard sell and ignoring what I have said to you. I'm sorry you're sales people are so bad. Please get back to me ASAP. I don't want to take this any further.

Placed a one off order with a Wowcher voucher and paid for delivery. After a week with no dispatch email I called to at first be hung up on and then to be told that a replacement would be sent that day so that I wouldn't be waiting any longer. Another week and still no delivery. They have scammed alotnof people out of money this Christmas and are deleting complaints on their Facebook page to hide!it! Avoid!!!!!
