I received a delivery yesterday and my e-bike was in it. The entire box was broken. The entire box was open. The parcel was given to me in a very dirty condition.

The driver stated he handed the order to me and that was incorrect. The driver never notified me that he was outside. He placed the order on the steps and left. I saw the text from BJs that the driver handed the order to me, so I went and checked and realized the order was on the steps, and the driver was nowhere to be seen.

Everything went wrong. 1st delivery waited from 15:00pm until 23:00pm and they didn’t show up. Too much traffic. Finally received a replacement date, the van actually turned up but my parcel wasn’t in the van. Complete sham.

I left a review 4 days ago (13/12) saying that if I could give 0 stars I would. After further updates and contact with this company I wish i could give —1million stars. The worst delivery and Customer service experiences I have ever had in my life. My previous review said that my delivery did not arrive. I saw several updates on the tracking info at 2:50pm (before my 3-6pm slot) saying that the delivery was completed, then updated to say attempted. I spent most of the afternoon contacting customer service regarding this, mostly just getting ignored or told I will be called back. My tracking then updated to say items were set to be returned. I called back customer services who sent me to voicemail saying to call back Monday (this was before their closing time). I spent the weekend leaving reviews and comments on all outlets in order to get this resolved. I received a very poor response and only via LinkedIn. (????) Monday comes and I get an email confirmed for Tuesday, then this gets rearranged for Wednesday. Im frustrated at this point as I need to travel to visit my family for Christmas (not being difficult it’s just Christmas comes early for NHS workers!!) so I now have to push this back to wait for the delivery- which I let go. On Tuesday I get an email that delivery has been rearranged for Thursday. This was now getting unfair to mess with my whole life. I already took Fri, mon and tues off work to resolve this, delayed my trip and have been sleeping on the floor. I called customer service and they just keep lying and giving excuses. I spoke to a man who managed to ‘find a spot’ on the route for Wednesday 18/12. He confirmed he located the items in the warehouse, they were ‘ready to go’ and said he would personally watch over this to make sure it gets done. Later in the evening I get an email that the items are packed and ready and will be delivered between 7-10am today 18/12. At 8:30 the driver calls me. He confirms what floor I am on (2nd) he asks if I have a lift and says he will be here in… As I said ‘no lift’ he stops and said ‘wait.. no lift?’ I said correct, he said he will be here in 45 mins. 1 hour later I get a call from him that he is here but only has 1 box, the other half of the order is elsewhere?… it was very confusing to understand what was happening as at first he made it seem like there was another van with the other item. Then I thought he said he had 2 vans. It was finally confirmed he is in 1 van with only 1 part of the delivery. This was meant to be a 2 man delivery so I was trying to understand if he had someone with him or meeting him here who had the other half of the delivery. He just kept asking if I want the item or not. I told him to bring the item and I would call customer services to locate the rest of it. I have just spent hours on the phone to customer service. I have spoken to several people as I had to keep asking to be passed on due to how unhelpful everyone was. At some point the man I was talking to put another voice on to pretend to be someone else. I asked to speak to somebody else around 5-6 times but i believe I only spoke to 3 actual real people. Some of the ‘people’ I spoke to were rude, condescending and incredibly patronising. At some point I was told that they do not have a a manager. I pleaded for over 30 mins for my concern to be escalated which is when I spoke to ‘manager’ AJ who was very rude, patronising, constantly interrupting me, just kept saying the same things over and wouldn’t answer questions. He gave me a variety of excuses including; 1) item 1 was loaded and they thought it was the full delivery so didn’t load the rest. I questioned why 2/2 was delivered and not 1/2 if this was the case. Excuse changed 2) next excuse was that only one of the items were scanned in the warehouse. I said if it was confirmed they were scanned in, located and ready yesterday what happened in less than 12 hours? Excuse changed. 3) next excuse was that they are in separate warehouses!! Nope! confirmed yesterday they are together. New excuse. 4) they are now apparently in the same warehouse but separated! Still does not answer how this happened. They have now given the final excuse of ‘the item cannot be located, we cannot give a new delivery date until we have located the item’ low and behold they have now LOST half of my bed. They have told me they cannot confirm any new dates until they do a STOCK CHECK of all of the warehouses. Gobsmacked. They are doing nothing to resolve it, said they would call me back if they find it? (Will not be sitting by the phone expecting this call with their track record) they have not resolved my concern, have not attempted to escalate it, I don’t even think they care enough to locate it. Disgusting. No words. Will be contacting trading standards, my bank, dusk, CAB and making a police report for theft and/or fraud. Awful company. Not surprised if it’s a scam. Please avoid.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service. Item was meant to be delivered today between 3-6pm. It was not. Tracking info updated at 2:50 to say delivery attempted, then delivery confirmed. It was not. I took a whole day of unpaid leave to stay in for this, they did not bother to show up or even contact me. I also had someone remove my old bed to make space, I will now be sleeping on the floor. I contacted customer services via WhatsApp at 4pm who said my delivery is en route. They then stopped responding. At 5:30 I called customer services who didn’t know why this happened, said they would escalate and call back. 10 mins later tracking info updated to say item being returned to sender, called back at 5:50 to go to voicemail saying I now cannot contact customer until Monday. Appalling customer service, will be reporting to trading standards as I am concerned about a possible scam or theft.

If only I can do 0 stars instead of one. Just a big mess . Scheduled delivery for last week Friday, then Friday midday sent text message that they can't deliver as they didn't receive the bed. Chased them up following Tuesday -they checking quality of the item and if will be done before 12 ,then they will deliver Wednesday. No communication. Called them Wednesday after 1pm, all slots gone for Thursday, then they will deliver Friday. Allocated slot between 1-4. After chasing them become to know that they are running late. What a waste of time and disrespect to customers. Each time you call them you will wait 20 -30 minutes. Fuming.

Ordered my item the 23rd of November got told be delivered on the 28th cancelled by BJS then was told be delivered on the 4th got cancelled again then got told be delivered today cancelled it again saying it wasn’t put on the van.so my daughter hasn’t had a mattress since the 28th don’t no use tho company it the worse company in the UK 😡😡😡

They have been awful at delivering when they say they will, then making up new dates and when you ask to reschedule they say no and confirm it for the date you cannot manage. What a heap of nonsense, zero help.

AWFUL , he said for health and safety reasons he cannot deliver to the 3rd floor !!! I told both the men it’s 10 steps extra , I paid for this delivery also it’s not free . I’ve never had a delivery where they do not deliver the item inside your house and I paid them to do so . He said he was “helping” me because he is delivering it to 2nd floor but I live on 3rd in the end he just LEFT all the parts to the furniture downstairs in the lobby - what company is this ??????

I had an extremely bad experience with BJS Two-Man Delivery, and their handling of the situation has been nothing but frustrating. My delivery was scheduled for December 9, 2024, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. (The time slot was never discussed with me—I was simply notified via text on Sunday evening!) At 12:25 PM, I received a call from the courier. Since I was at work, I requested the delivery be delayed until 4:30 PM. Despite this, no one followed up, and I only managed to contact their office at 1:27 PM. I was informed verbally that my delivery had been "rescheduled," without any proper explanation or prior notification. I left work early—risking my professional reputation—to ensure I would be home. I was back by 1:30 PM, but the delivery never arrived. My property is monitored by CCTV, and no one came to my door. To make matters worse, the company blamed "adverse weather conditions," despite the fact that there was no rain or storm in Portsmouth that day. Now, instead of accepting responsibility, they are insisting that the issue was my fault. This is not only unfair but shows a complete lack of accountability on their part. This company demonstrates unprofessionalism, poor communication, and a refusal to take responsibility for their mistakes. I have had to request compensation for my wasted time and lost wages, and I strongly advise others to avoid using BJS Two-Man Delivery. They are unreliable, untrustworthy, and unwilling to resolve issues

Disgusting, deceitful, shambles of a company. Item was supposed to be delivered on 30th November. Received a text to say driver unwell. Rescheduled for 4th December, received a message to say the item hadn’t been loaded on to the truck. Rescheduled for today and received an email to say the driver had a family emergency. The drivers seem to have a lot of bad luck don’t they 🤔. Does anyone know where the depot is as at this point I want to retrieve it myself. This is todays alleged excuse Good Evening, Regretfully, we are unable to fulfil your order today as the team allocated to the route has a family emergency. We are sorry that we have let you down; please be assured that we have explored all alternative options available to us but are unable to offer a solution at such short notice. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and we can reschedule for Wednesday 11/12 of this week if that is convenient for you.

Despite website stating you will receive confirmation of the delivery slot the day before the agreed delivery date, I didn’t receive. I chased multiple times with no response only to receive 11 texts at 6am on the day of delivery confirming my slot for between 2-5pm later that day. Made arrangements to work from home to receive the order. Waited the whole day, no delivery received. Reached out via email and also via WhatsApp, sent 10 messages from 6pm and all were ignored. Messaged again first thing the next day and still ignored. Update on the portal says the delivery was attempted which is just a lie as I was in the whole day and cancelled evening plans in case they turned up late, which they didn’t. Now been on hold for the last 40 minutes to understand when my order will be delivered. Absolutely no communication from BJS at all, horrible customer service

Items ordered urgently arrived late and then delivery team refused to leave items with parents in law because they didn’t get access to the house. They were rude and refused to talk to the owner of the items. Please stay away

This is not a 1 star review - it is a 0 star review. I cannot believe that Debenhams would work with this company. I have waited in all day for a mattress delivery, after being given a 3 hour timeslot from BJS. They have text me last night, emailed me this morning, confirmed via answer phone, WhatsApp and their tracking system that my order is ‘on route’. 2 hours passed and no delivery has arrived. I’ve WhatsApped BJS who ended the chat both times due to a lack of response from me (when I responded within the same minute as their message). I tried 4 times to get through on the phone. This is where it gets good!! I spoke to an absolute clown who told me that Debenhams confirmed the delivery date - not them and that it’s nothing to do with them, Debenhams haven’t shipped the mattress to them yet. He then laughed and said “what did you want us to do? Turn up and knock on your door when we have nothing to deliver?” I asked to speak to a manager to explain the situation to me properly. He repeated the exact same, told me that they had no stock and that Debenhams sent me that confirmation email. I explained that I had a text, email and WhatsApp’s from BJS confirming the date - not Debenhams. He said that Debenhams sent those emails. I told him that was concerning as they are from the BJS network and they must have been hacked.. he said they have 0 involvement with this delivery and they are not accepting any blame. I have never spoken to such rude and aggressive customer service agents in my life. I am now dealing with Debenhams to cancel my order in it’s entirety - I refuse to give this company a penny!

ext message 20 minutes before delivery deadline is not acceptable attitude to your customers. Don't commit to deliver goods if you can't fulfill! Even if the "family emergency" was genuine reason for delivery failure, you should offer rescheduled delivery next day but not next week! Order: MM1906357 !!!UPDATE!!! BJS called me and asked to adjust my original review after 2nd. delivery attempt, so here it is. Another failed delivery! Today 03/12 delivery van actually arrived and for 10 minutes they tried to find my mattress but wasn't able to as it was simply not loaded in! I'm done with this company and unfortunately have to cancel my order as there is 0% chance it will ever be delivered. If anybody from delivery company reading this, please suggest to your boss to rename your company to "BJS SCAM Delivery"

You may want to teach your drivers to drive safely. How one of your vans didn't cause me to crash my car by whizzing around a roundabout and cutting me up is more by luck than anything. Horrendous driving and total lack of consideration to other road users. Should be ashamed of yourselves.

Same experience as everyone else, unprofessional, rude, damage to my property and the item, delivery driver squared up to me for a fight I think.. I tried to de-escalate the situation by telling him to calm down, this didnt help.. Avoid at all costs
