I used the Glasgow store on few occasions after a recommendation by a friend , staff have been happy to take my money and give advice. I went in today to return a faulty trigger and buy a secondhand D700 and had a very poor experience . The staff member was condescending from the point he released it was a return and not a sale. I had told him the exact problem being the off and on switch did not work and the trigger would on occasion keep the shutter open till disconnected . His answer was they had a memo from the manufacturer the off and on switches don't work and you need to take the batteries out. The real high point was he only wanted to replace one trigger from a set despite me telling him the fault had cost me work after an exchange of words he replaced the faulty items. Needless to say I've ordered my camera else's where .

Ordered lens and lithium batteries for next day delivery. Lens arrived - no sign of batteries. No contact to say baytteries would be late. Spoke to customer services - if you can call them that - and very laid back man told me they are going to be a "bit late as they are coming from Belfast!" When someone orders next day delivery I think you can take it that they need them next day delivery. No apologies from customer service guy either. Think it is safe to say I won't be using them again

This is the second time I have had a sensor cleaned by Calumet. On the first occasion the cleaning was flawless, this time however it was not. The original marks on the sensor were removed but new more easily seen marks remained. I was informed upon collection of the camera that one mark could not be removed but upon inspection there turned out to be numerous marks. Beyond disappointing. When ordering they insisted taking the full payment up front saying the lens would be with me inside two weeks at the latest - I wanted to give a deposit. 3-4 months later no lens. I called 4 times over that period to get information and every time they said they needed to check with purchasing and then would phone me back. Each time they didn't bother. I have just cancelled the order and will never use them again. Not because I am angry. There are simply better, more professional alternatives that provide a better service. Oh and cheaper. I'd look elsewhere.

I received the monopod within the promised delivery time, but, the monopod was described for either canon or nikon, the screw was far too large for my canon 1200D, I messaged asking if they had an adapter, no reply, bad service.

I ordered a Memory Card from Calumet on November 11th, paying £52.99, including £7.99 for 'Standard Delivery' to Northern Ireland. On the 21st Nov, I received an email stating that the item was no longer in stock!!!! I replied the same day, requesting that Calumet supply the replacement item offered. I heard no more!!! When I phoned Calumet on the 25th - 14 days after the order was placed, I was informed that they had lost my order!!! When it was eventually found, I specifically asked that it be delivered via Royal Mail as I could not stay home for the delivery and the DPD offices are over 50 miles away. It was eventually dispatched on the 26th November - via DPD! It was delivered - in the bin!!!!!!!!!!! Appalling service!!!

Spent £8688 with Rajesh who provided fantastic service. Went to the store at Euston to be talked to like a complete idiot by a pair of 'staff' who were basically sales prevention humans. Very disappointing service and, had I not required the equipment there and then, I would have cancelled the order and taken my business elsewhere. Will not use again.

Nothing in stock, no Bowens dishes at all, not one. Then no pocket wizards. It looks like stock is not being held anyone, it all has to ordered in with a 7-10 lead time. Shocking. it not where to pros go anymore.

At open day on Thursday in Bristol at 11:15 in the morning I decided to buy at Fuji camera which is on promotion to my surprise they didn't have any in stock. I was promised that one would be delivered on Friday it didn't I wasted most of the day that Friday waiting for it to arrive. About 2.15pm I decided just to check up and they said it hasn't been sent, that it was their fault so they would make sure that it would arrive on Saturday before noon. I swap my day off so I can be in but it didn't arrive again. It finally came at midday on Monday. It cost me more in lost earnings then the money I saved and the promotion.

Attitude of the girls in your Birmingham store was appalling, yes I bought a lens online but I would have bought a camera and other goods in store but walked out - since it's a 90 minute drive from me that took some doing.

I purchased a Zeiss Touit 32mm 1.8 E fit lens, the packaging did not seem in factory condition, and I felt it was second hand. I tested it on my NEX 7 and to my surprise the lens was poor especially on the left edge much worse than my cheap Sony zoom kit lens. I sent it back to you and it was collected the following day after purchase. As Zeiss have an excellent name for sharp lenses, I was dismayed by the quality, something was wrong. I telephoned your shop in Birmingham to complain, they said “what do you expect from purchasing on line, you should have come to us in the first place.” I am very disappointed.

Its now 5.30 pm and I'm waiting for the delivery of the rental item ( flash battery pack ) for a wedding I'm doing tomorrow and it hasn't arrived! VERY disappointed! Danielle King Photography

I ordered a box of 8"x 6" strut mounts online and colected them from my local branch, when I opened the box the following day I discovered the mounts were badly made, bevelled and didn't match the image on calumets website, I called customer services (spoke to Alex) and was told she would arrange for a replacement box to be sent out, and I was assured she would call me back the same day to confirm this, A week later having heard nothing I called customer services again and the guy I spoke to said there was no information on file of any action being taken, however he would leave a note for Alex to call me back the following day. Another week went by with no call from Alex (or anyone else from customer services) therefore I had to return the box of faulty mounts to my local branch then call customer services to arrange a refund to my card.

I will never order film through your website again. My order was delayed and once it arrived it was just a part of the full order. This came as a surprise since the film had been listed as "in stock" on your website and delivery was guaranteed within two days. I then called to CANCEL the rest of the order since I had to go out to buy film elsewhere in order to bring it with me on my working trip. When I called your customer sercvice I was told that the remaining order (that had been delayed several days) was going to be canceled and that I would receive a refund instead. However, as I return home from my foreign trip I see that the film has been delivered anyway. I am unhappy with this since I had to spend both more time (on the phone with customer service asking for information about delivery and then deling with the cancellation of the items) and more money than expected since I had to go out and buy more film - only to discover that my cancellation had not been taken into account. I would like to hear from you in order to hear if you would be willing to compensate me for: 1. The delay of the delivery of all items. 2. The delivery of the second batch DESPITE THE FACT that I had requested to cancel it (confirmed over phone speaking to one of your customer service personnel) due to the fact that they were going to arrive much later than estimated. Absolutely horrible experience with calumet. I am highly disappointed by the customer service and would not recommend. I am professional photographer and lost a lot of money and most importantly a very prestige client because of the guys from Calumet. I would never use their services in future again.

Calumet Belfast has the worst sales team.At the last "open house"(in fact a room filled with people and tripods where you could barely move) I bought an Epson R3000.I was promised it will arrive in 3-5 days only to find out after I called 2 times that the printer was back-ordered and I had to wait weeks(not specified by the sales guy)to get it.I'll never shop there again.

Not very impressed, sales person on phone promised lens would be delivered to store the next day, and I would be called when it arrived. Unfortuatley the lens did not arrive as promised nor did the phone call. Sales person also negleted not to tell me I would need photo id to collect, which involved a further delay. Will not be shopping at Calumet again.
