“Awful experience. We paid for the car , which we could not pickup as the car shop was shut. They had our flight number. They also tried to say that we needed to pickup car before 10 pm as the shop closed at 10 pm , car pickup was arranged for 10 pm exactly. CarJet are an agency who book you with another company that turned out to be Drivalia, who then wanted another £350 for five days insurance plus a very large deposit when I refused as I already bought it with CarJet they said they didn’t recognise their insurance. “I rent a car last week in airport of Thessaloniki. The car was new, high equipped without problems. The problem was with the office that gave me a new car, not clean inside and outside with signs on the seats. The excuse of the office was that the signs were caused by the salt of the sea water on the summer....
Finally they gave me an other car that was in a better condition but not clean.
The other problem was that there was nowhere a notice or a warning that I should have 1400 euros in my credit card as a guarantee. I have to notice that I had paid the full insurance which covered me for any damage above 400€.
So, I don't suggest a rental because probably you 'll have a bad experience.”
“I had a very bad experience with CarJet their partner in Tirana RENTAL24, Albania. CarJet does not tell you all the rules before booking. After I made the booking it said that I should block €400 from my credit card, and that it would be unblocked when I returned the car (this was not in the conditions before booking). I paid €81 when I made the booking. But when I went to Tirana Airport in Albania, CarJet's partner "RENTAL 24" told me that I should leave a deposit of €400 (deposit not blocked on my credit card) and this money would be returned to me one month from the day I would return the car. I did not accept it, and directly asked to cancel the booking and get my money back. CarJet rejected my request. I replied to the rejection email, and explained the reason for the cancellation, but they ignored me, after a few days I wrote back, and they ignored me again. This means, not being serious, ignoring the customer, and cheating the customer. Not only will I not book with CarJet again, but I will not recommend them to anyone either.”

They landed to the airport with no car seat they were told on booking one was needed he refused to take us witch meant we had to wait for him to come back witch took him over a hour .

My car was cancelled 2 hours before pick-up, with the agent alleging that my credit card company had cancelled the fund transaction due to “fraudulent transactions”.
THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE! My bank confirmed that the transaction had been cancelled by CarJet, and the car rental agency informed us that our car booking had been cancelled by CarJet a few days before I was notified via email. Thankfully, SIXT was able to still provide us with a car at short notice.
To make matters even worse, the refund we received was less than what we had actually paid.”

“What a terrible company. It purports to offer cheap cars, but when you look at the small print, it gives no real cover and a massive deposit taken. Also quite the MOST unhelpful, rude customer service (if you can call it that), that I've encountered in the travel industry. They had no interest in offering me a refund that was caused by their computer system mistake, and I had to re-book a more expensive car with the actual car rental company instead. I would never recommend using this company - they offer the promise of a cheap car, but this comes at a Hugh price in deposit terms and terrible unhelpful poor customer service terms when their system does something wrong. Not worth the risk.”

Then I read the reviews and the name Claire Davis came up in a bad light, and then I got an email from Claire Davis telling me my booking was pending. My friend and I were left stranded after booking a rental car through CarJet. Upon arriving at the pickup point in Białystok, Poland, we were abruptly informed that the company had closed its operations weeks prior and had no cars available.
Despite numerous attempts to contact CarJet by phone and email, our inquiries have been met with silence. We received a generic email stating that our request was being investigated, but over 2.5 months have passed without any resolution or refund.
CarJet's lack of communication and customer support has been appalling. They have left us stranded and out of pocket, ruining our travel plans. Beware of using this unreliable service if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.

“I strongly advise against using this company. They demanded a £900 deposit when I rented a car, but afterward, they made excuses to withhold the deposit. As a tourist, it was difficult for me to dispute the issue since I had already left the country. Unfortunately, this resulted in losing my deposit. Be cautious when dealing with this company.”
“AVOID Carjet! They will fool you one way or another. I bought a full insurance from Carjet together with my booking, to be on the safe side. One morning the car didn't start so I called the insurance company who sent a guy who helped me get it started. All fine... until I get an invoice from Europcar (where I picked up the car) of £100 and claimed the same amount from Carjet. This was in June 2024 and now, six months later, I still haven't gotten my money. I have reported this matter several times but Carjet either avoids answering or I get an automated message saying that they can't find my booking and therefore can't help me.
