“Booked a car, thought all was well- read T&Cs (cos I’m quite OCD) and paid £308.
Then got booking confirmation- first line said the driver needed 2 yrs driving experienc( I only have 1.5).
Tried to cancel immediately online- got nowhere! Tried calling and got cut off repeatedly. Tried emailing and using social media to contact them.
Eventually got a VERY rude email back from someone called Andrea whose tone was hostile and condescending. She said there was no way I was getting a refund.
Beware folks- customer service is nonexistent!”

Reserved a car with CarJet and they rented the car for me at Hit Rent a Car in Antalya.
When we arrived in Antalya, everything went wrong, Hit Rent a Car was not available and showed up at their agency much later, the agreements were changed and they wanted more money and I would get another car.
Then I called CatJet and they were also not available, so I had them take me back to the airport and from there I took a taxi to the hotel.
Because I have an agreement with CarJet, I held them liable for the costs incurred and wanted my deposit back.
Unfortunately, when it comes to money, CarJet doesn't care and they bury their heads in the sand when problems arise.
As the saying goes, Cheap is Expensive!

“We chose this company because their rates were very competitive compared to most others. We were renting cars in Austria, Hungary, and Romania, and this seemed to be the best option. However, the reality is that this company operates like a complete scam. All the rental companies we were assigned either refused to accept the reservation or demanded an exorbitant deposit of €2,500.
Additionally, we were asked to provide our flight information, presumably to account for potential delays. When our flight was delayed, we expected some flexibility. To our surprise, the rental company showed no regard for this information. It became clear that CarJet doesn’t actually rent vehicles—they act as a broker, charging fees, taking commissions, and exploiting situations to make money.
To make matters worse, we were asked a €100 penalty for arriving late, despite the delay being beyond our control.
So, we decided to take some time to think about the situation and resolve it the next day. To our surprise, the reservation was canceled by CarJet and was no longer available. As a result, we were unable to get the vehicle.
To make matters worse, our advance payment of $446.57 was never refunded. When we disputed the charge with our credit card company, CarJet falsely claimed that we never showed up!”
“Do not use this company. Biggest scammers around. Long story short I booked a car in London. Was given vague and also incorrect information to pick it up after they were closed. Had to stay another night in London at extra cost. Went to car hire next day and they had no cars available. Spoke to Carjet numerous times and emailed for over a year. The car hire company itself put in writing that they cancelled the booking and there was no charge. Had to find alternative transport and never got a car from them. One week later they charged my credit card $2500 AUD for something I never received. Tried to get refund also through credit card company and received nothing in the end. Can’t do anything about it because Carjet are not in the uk they are in Spain. This company should not be allowed to operate.”

Payment went through but no email. Website has no number just links to send email. When I try to check booking came back with your booking doesn’t exist. I get email from them saying it’s cancelled and a refund will be issued. But NOTHING!”

“The worst customer service. They do not respond to complaints and provide no way of dealing with disputes. They have not provided the refund that has been given to me by the car rental company despite multiple attempts to resolve this.”
“I would give them 0 stars if it would be allowed. Terrible company, terrible operating procedures, very unclear. These guys are just brokers who then use other companies for the rental. They clearly only want to steal money and not deal with issues, its why its so hard to speak to them. “Hired a car from Cork airport and was advised that I needed to pay €43 fine for being 10mins late collecting my car.
CarJet were told this was not in the T/C’s of contract hire but they refused to budge.
I ended up hiring from a different car rental company in order to continue my trip.
I would strongly recommend not hiring through this company.”
“Carjet are scammers .I booked a car through Carjet at Toulouse airport on October 9th this year with Alamo. Alamo refused to provide me with a car because they do not accept Revolut bank cards. I had to take a car from Sixt, where my card was accepted without any problems. But without Carjet .CarJet took a deposit of 53€ from me, but they still have not returned .”

Do you know why they're cheap? Because they have a poor service and got money without giving you a service!
Let me tell you my experience, I booked a car for 1 week in Luton online and I went to the collection point on time to GREEN MOTION Rent a Car in London, Luton Airport and it took me an hour and half to get served (It was only 2 people in front of me). Finally, the receptionist rejected my international driving licence because of there insurance policy which the carjet didn't inform me about such policy.
I asked the receptionist about my refund but he told me carjet is 3rd company and He can't do my refund at all.
I contacted them via email but they didn't even read my email and sent me I can't get my refund due to another policy 😑
In between I can't get the service and they took my money because they are real scammers.

“Ongelofelijk slecht bedrijf!!! Auto gehuurd op Izmir op 08-07-2024. Borg betaald met debitcard. Na 4 maanden nog steeds mijn borg niet terug. Meerdere keren contact opgenomen via de mail en telefoon. Geven elke keer aan dat er contact is opgenomen met het bedrijf waar de auto is gehuurd (Carwiz). Wat een leugens!!! “Recently I rent a car through carjet and I end up with paying extra money. I never recommend carjet. I spent almost £130 extra. Choose other comparison sites or direct from the rental even if £10 or £20 extra. I tried to save £10 and lost £130”
