We have just had 6 weeks touring Britain with a Carjet Green Motion -picked up an Kia Estate rental car from their Docklands depot. The internet booking from Australia was easy. I got the pick up time wrong (4 days late) and was charged additional £150. However, given that the rental is about 60% of the cost of sheets etc - I did not quibble. We had a flat tyre in North England - cars here don’t carry spares - so instead of a quick change in 30 minutes we wasted 7 hours of our precious time waiting for the RAC - not the fault of Carjet - just the national system. Dropping off the vehicle was no trouble. I have heard horror stories of the rental company finding the tiniest scratches and charging a thousand pound. Nothing like that happened. All in all we were very happy with the trip.

The company provides wrong information about its insurance. The rental conditions are different on the different stages of booking. Please be careful, because of misleading information I did not managed to get the booked and prepaid car and they did not do refunds.

Not responsible for their mistake and not responsive. Neither by phone call nor by email. Super annoying of things go wring with them. No support is expected. NOT RECOMMENDED!

17.10.24, around 10am in Paisley, outside Glasgow, i was supposed to collect the booked car, Fiat 500, which was registered on my name, Dominik Chudzik. I went there, but DID NOT collect the car, because DRIVALIA, wanted additional costs that weren’t in the booking information. Car was not collected by me, and after I called the broker, CARJET, i was told that there will be no refund. DRIVALIA told me, that all i have to do is contact you regarding this case. After one call, the customer service stopped answering my calls, im just being held on the line. this is just pathetic.

There as bit of a nightmare The good. They were cheaper than the competition. The Bad. 1.Passed on to a company Idea Mobility to fulfil. Difficult to find. Number and address difficult to find. 2. The rudest man I have ever met at the company. Shouting and insanely rude to all customers. We all stood in amazement as he berated everyone. When my turn. He asked what time I had booked the car for. I said 8:30, he said well come back then. This was at 8:13. I waited and he did nothing. So at 8:29 I said OK now? He then replied. Driving licence, credit card and passport. No other conversation. Same on return. 3. The car. Not the one booked, they don't stock them ! Got a Corsa. 150+k on clock. Central locking and remote key not working. One headlamp out. a few engine management lights on. No water in windscreen washer. Date of experience: 10 October 2024

Cowboys - AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! If you are wondering why Car Jet are so cheap it's because they are just a third-party with a glossy website. They actually use a selection of rogue suppliers and steal peoples deposits when things don't work out. The whole system is automated and they are impossible to contact (no way to message or email them and the only phone number is an international number that they don’t answer). CarJet took a £75 deposit and provided us a voucher for their cowboy partners "Exclusive Rent A Car" in Dubrovnik. Our flight was cancelled through no fault of our own and we were rebooked on the next available flight the following day. I contacted Carjet and Exclusive Rent a car to advise them of the delay and request that they hold the car. I also sent a request to Carjet to modify the booking on 02/03/24 when we were notified that our flight was cancelled. Despite this, when we arrived at Dubrovnik we were told that the booking was cancelled and they did not have a car for us. We had to source a vehicle elsewhere at considerable stress and additional expense (1200 Euros). As a final insult, Carjet have kept our deposit and they make it impossible to contact them; they don't provide an email address so your only option is to call them on an international number where you will be on hold for 45 mins. They have no official complaints procedure, when I finally got in contact with them the woman I spoke to couldn't;t care less. She was was rude and aggressive and tried to blame me and said they would be keeping the deposit and I should claim from the airline. Please do not make the same mistake and avoid Car Jet at all costs.

They are a scam. We have to pay a deposit. And when we can’t finally have the car because of false information on their website, they don’t want to refund the deposit. Avoid!

I rent a car 15-17.10 at Memmingen Airport over CarJet website , and that was a nightmare with CarJet& FlextoGo, I have paid the premium insurace 2 times , I have paid to CarJet and again to FlextoGo , they say "we dont have nothing with them" you need to pay again if you need a car , customer service doesn't work , nobody answering so I lost 124.00 euro for that 2 days, nightmare... I dont recommend this rental to anyone... reservation was X2 BMW and I get Korea car , if is that same class than we live in some wird world ...

I rented a car with CarJet on July 25 I rented a car with CarJet on July 25, 2024 (Ref: RA 999417893), expecting a smooth and professional experience. However, it has been nothing short of a nightmare. I paid a €242 deposit, which was supposed to be refunded upon returning the car in good condition on July 26. It's now over two half months, and I still haven't received my money back. Despite multiple emails to CarJet and attempts to contact Budget (the sub-company involved), I've received no proper response from either party. This level of unresponsiveness and lack of accountability is highly unprofessional. I trusted CarJet to provide a reliable service, but their failure to honor the contract has caused me great frustration. I strongly advise others to avoid using this company until they improve their customer service and refund process. Very disappointing experience – not recommended! Date of experience: August 26, 2024

I paid for insurance But didn’t rent the car because they also wanted to charge me an insurance of 50$ per day. Al the rules car jet makes are on the edge of F…. Travallers are charge or cannot rent the car they expect at that price. Incorrect or hiden infomation.

The Jet Car Rental Company is a very dishonest and fraudulent company. Very untidy process to collect and return rental cars. I almost missed my flight because it took almost an hour for them to collect the car from me. I literarily ran through the airport check in process and was lucky to be at the gate just before the door was closed. A month after renting the car, I received series of charges to my credit card with substantial service charges. I contacted them and all efforts to get a refund failed as they stopped responding to my emails. I strongly advise against patronizing this rental company as I consider them a fraud!

Absolute cowboys and rip-off merchants. I am disgusted with Carjet and their cowboy partners Exclusive Rent A Car Dubrovnik. Our flight was cancelled through no fault of our own and we were rebooked on the next available flight the following day. Despite this, when we arrived at Dubrovnik we we told that the booking was cancelled and they did not have a car for us. We had to source a vehicle elsewhere at considerable stress and additional expense (1200 Euros). As a final insult, Carjet have kept our deposit and they make it impossible to contact them; there no email address, no way to make a complaint and they do not answer the phone. This experience has been costly and very distressing for me and my family. Avoid at all costs.

I do not recommend them at all, they charged me 170 PLN in August and have not given it back yet, on Sunday I was supposed to have a car at Chopin Airport in Warsaw with Viaggiarerent, the rental company was closed, I waited for an hour and a half, I called and nothing. They do not answer emails, only after a month someone wrote to me from Spain, I sent that I called this rental company a dozen or so times, then I got another email after three months to send the same thing. Total hopelessness, they take money for nothing, there is not even a normal service, I do not recommend

This is the worst car hire company in the world! What is written on the website and what they do are two different things. This is a proper scam! Yes, you can get a car, but believe me, you will cry! Rather pay more and deal with a reputable company. These people are dishonest!

Once they take your money that’s it. No way to contact thrm: inward calls blocked and no reply to emails sent. The car rental they booked with take no responsibility on insurance that you paid for and take a hearty deposit even if you are fully covered. Any claims you may have are with CarJet whom you can not contact! They do give you a car, but not the one you booked.

WORST COMPANY EVER!!! NO DMAIˇ TO REAGH THEM, THEY DONT ČÁŘE SBOUT NOTHING. AFTER BOOKING CONFIRMATION NOONE CONTACT US , WE NEVER GOT A CAR FROM THEM BUT THEY TOOK MONEY!!! NOW ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS WE CANT GET MY MONEY BACK!!!!

Rented a car Through CarJet Had the car for three days on the second day mechanical Problems I Called the Car company I had the car for Three days the mechanic came out look at the car and Said it was a danger For the car to be on the road It had been in an accident and had not been fixed Right Airbag would not have deployed he advise me strongly not to drive the car he also said there was a lot more Wrong with the car I was supposed to have the car for 20 days. I had it for one day Trouble free They own me $1700 This Company have Mess me around for four months can’t speak to anyone. They do not answer. Emails. This is a scam.
