CarJet has sent the wrong reservation to the rental provider. I have chosen automatic transmission on the site and the car in the reservation was Toyota CHR Hybrid with auto transmission. During the pickup rental agency showed me the booking they got from CarJet and it was a group B car which means for this provider Hyundai i10 manual, which is a way worse car with a wrong transmission than Toyota CHR. The support line does not work.

I don’t recommend using CarJet to rent your car, even for their low price, comparing to actual, professional car rent companies. I dealt with and paid CarJet, but actual car rent company I picked up my car was different. What is fine and understandable, however I don’t personally like it. A few things I would like to mention: 1. CarJet states on documents received from them, that if I have any problem with a car I need to contact the actual car rent company. I don’t like paying one company, but if problem dealing with another. Luckily nothing happened. 2. CarJet required me to get international driving license if I am not from country of the European Union. However when picking up my car the actual car rent company officer told me, that I don’t need one. And that is correct information. So the information from CarJet were incorrect and misleading, what I needed to pay for, because I acquired one. 3. When picking up my car on Sunday from actual car rent company the office was closed. But according to the information received from CarJet on paper the office should be open. Luckily the officer from that company was there waiting for me (thanks to the actual car rent company for professional work), however I needed to pay a fee, around 14£ for his assistance outside of their working hours. Again CarJet provided me with incorrect and misleading information, which I needed to pay for. 4. Customer service of CarJet doesn’t really work and doesn’t help their customers. I wrote an email to CarJet about their incorrect opening hours situation and waited 29 days for their answer, whereas other car rent companies answer you the same day or the next. They said to look into my case and get back to me, however now passing two weeks and no any solution whatsoever. Choice is yours!

A month ago I gave Car Jet 5 stars for ease of booking since then I have picked up and returned my car and can now give a full review. I now give them 2 stars and would not recommend them for the following reasons: 1) The shuttle information. To the car rental pick up point at Heathrow is wrong and this delayed us 1 1/2 hours and we had to catch a cab. 2) We had to change our holiday plans in UK and leave for France earlier than expected and had the following problems: A) The Carjet web site does not allow you to schedule an early return. B) It was impossible to get an answer from the Customer Service number or leave a message. Phone calls simply do not complete. C) Nobody answered the telephone number for the Heathrow dealership either. D) I emailed Customer Services but only got an automated reply saying it would be referred to the manager. E) I, therefore, drove the car to the Easirent dealership and it was closed at 10:30 pm. The website says it is open until 00:30 am. F) There was no Drop Box. G) The Moxi hotel would not take the key and said this happens alot and people simply leave their cars in the Car park H) I, therefore, put my keys in an envelope and placed it on the dashboard for Easirent in the morning. I) I emailed Customer Services telling them what I had done and where they could find the car. J) I got another automated reply. K) Having not got a closing invoice I was concerned that the car could have been stolen so emailed Customer Service yet again. No reply. L) So deeply concerned one week later I called Easirent and got through. Fortunately the car was still there 1 week later and my account is closed. Though Car Jet advertise that you can return the car at any time this is difficult and they will not refund you even in the most extraneous of circumstances. All round a bad choice for me. Price is not everything.

The rental itself was done correctly (I got the exact car I ordered), but there is no customer support at all. Means: I got problem with Iceland Nordic Car Rental (refusal to reimburse me for car repair which was a clear responsibility of the rental company) and Carjet did not even answer my mail, no responsen at all. Thanks for a such a "great" support

We booked via Carjet with their partner Fair Car in Iceland. We agreed with the rental company Fair Car in Keflavik Int airport that we would return the car on 11 July between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning. These are not out-of-the-office hours. We arrived at exactly 8:45 and everything was closed, no one to be seen. We had 2 phone nrs, so we called : no reply, even after 4 min waiting. This is really not acceptable. We were standing in the middle of nowhere with 2 kids, and had our flight to catch. Since we did not know when someone would show up, we had to order a taxi, to bring us to the airport. We are very very disappointed about the service, no one being in the office, and no one answering the phone. I sent a complaint to CarJet, as well as to Fair Car itself, NO reaction from both sides, complete silence. Afterwards, I read many bad reviews on FairCar in Iceland, I can't understand that Carjet continues to work with them. Will never book via Carjet again.

Claire, Have just picked up car hire, Although I have paid for my own comprehensive insurance(which I produced.From Insure.com), I was still obliged to pay extra Insurance of €60 . I could not take the car otherwise. The car was covered in scratches and the rear windscreen wiper is missing. Surprice manager said " it's not raining so isn't an issue!!!!I" It smells of cigarette smoke. It hasn't been properly washed. Don't really feel impressed or liable to recommend Carjet. Let's hope we can come to an amicable resolution?. Regards Graham Robinson

I rented a car from Malaga airport to return in Almeria airport through carjet (the broker). When I went to the 'goldcar' desk to pay the fee, it was a lot higher than what was stated when I did the booking through carjet. There was an extra car collection fee (€120 euros) which was not included in the total when I made the booking. When carjet states total amount to pay, it should include everything and not miss any fees as its misleading and makes you think you will pay a lower price. I guess this is a strategy they use to attract customers but I felt cheated and the price I ended up paying was actually similar to what I would have paid with some of the major rental car companies (sixt, avis, etc) without going through carjet as a broker. Also, the car rental company 'goldcar' were going to charge me around €100 for insurance when I already had it with carjet, so make sure you tell them to block your card with €1400, instead of paying goldcar's insurance. Another problem with carjet is the no refund/cancellation policy they apply with some bookings. I wanted to cancel the booking and get a refund but I wasn't able to. Overall, I would avoid using this company and go with one of the major car rental companies.

Your company is a complete scam,we took insurance with you when we booked,this insurance is not accepted by Drivalia at all,it happened to the people in front of me,myself and the people behind me,you are taking money Fraudulently,I have tried to contact a Clair Davies branch manager to no avail no reply whatsoever,I had to pay 288 GBP at Drivalia pick up point before I could take the vehicle which was unwashed or cleaned inside and out,I demand a refund of the insurance payment made to Carjet

Ik heb en auto gehuurd via carjet vanaf 08- 05-2024 tot 14-05-2024 en volbedrag betaald ik kwam wat later op vliegveld in marokko toen ik naar de autoverhuur bedrijf in Marokko ging om auto ophalen werd tegen mij gezegd dat ik laat was en dat ze auto aan iemand anders verhuurd hebben en ze hebben geen ander auto voor mij ik was beetje boos maar daar schiet je niks op ik vroeg aan die man hoe kan jullie en auto die verhuurt is en betaald aan ander iemand verhuren hij zegt ik weet niet toen vroeg ik om mijn geld wat ik betaald heb terug te krijgen die man zegt tegen mij je krijgt geen geld we werken zo dat is echt gebeurd uitkijken deze bedrijf zijn oplichters

We had a very unpleasant experience last Saturday night when collecting the rental at the Salzburg airport. The communication for the pickup was clear and well received. But the information was not correct. After the flight landed, +/- 22:30 we walked to the collection point. When we looked for the contact person at the 3'th floor parking lot, as described in the instructions, we could not find anyone. Therefore we called the number, and our contact person provided another address, we had some challenges to find the address, and it took two calls for us to find the new location. It was about 3 minutes drive from the airport, at a deserted shopping mall parking. We did not felt comfortable (not safe) at this parking, but did find our contact person who was waiting in the car. The answer to my question; why meet at this unsafe location? His respond; he was not allowed to meet at the airport due to police orderings... The contact person was quite friendly and therefore I continued the conversation until I noticed that the car had Bulgarian licence plates, and to be clear Salzburg is in Austria! Due to the fact that we had to cross borders, he strongly recommended to take another route to Zell am See via an alternative route. He offered for us to pay another +/- 90 Euro's and then we would be permitted to cross borders.... From my past at working for the Dutch Emergency center (ANWB Dutch AA), I know that's driving a car with a foreign licence plate is not permitted, unless you drive straight to the collection point, to swap cars for a local licence plate. Long story short, I did not trust this situation and we canceled the car on the spot as our contact person offered. We really had a bad experience and at the end we left, without a rental..

i rented a car from Carjet and went to the counter to collect my car today but was canceled by Europcar as they do not accept Malaysian licenses on the MyJPJ app. This is beyond my control as our government stopped issuing physical card driving licenses for all renewals and replaced it with MyJPJ app. I have also presented my physical international driving license to the counter but still was refused. When I renewed my license, our government no longer provided a physical card driving license and it's an app on our mobile phone. But I brought along my international license physical card to ensure I have the original yet I was declined. However, Mr. Devon Briggs from Europacar was kind enough to ask other car companies if they could accept my driving license on the mobile app. Enterprise Car Rental accepted so Europcar cancelled my bookings and requested me to contact Carjet for a refund. I, immediately called Carjet Customer Service to ask for a refund but was refused. The reason given was I did not present physical documents and they can't do anything. I demanded a contact for complaint and they sent me a link. In the confirmation email, stated under the driver requirements, it was stated to bring an international driving permit with your original license. MyJPJ app is my original license. And I did not print out or screenshot (video attached). I also brought along my original international driving license as evidence. It's not my fault if our government does not issue physical driving license card anymore.

Because of the recent floods in Dubai ,my flight was cancelled and resulted in me making arrival 2 days late to pick up the car I had booked and paid for thru carjet.i had notified Carjet via email of my predicament,but I did not see this as a problem as I had paid in full upfront. On arrival at 10.45 at night with my 10 year old daughter ,with all my baggage lost ,I was told there was no car for me as they only kept the car for 24 hours. They were in no way apologetic to the situation they had put me in,and told me they had no other car and suggested using one of the nearby car rental companies in Dublin airport.left with no alternative I ended up using sixt and had to pay almost 3 times the amount I had paid for the car I should have been getting.since then communication has been nearly non existent.except for a voucher to use in the next 12 months in Europe.not much good as I live in Sydney.i have given up on getting any sort of refund. But hopefully this might stop someone else getting ripped of from a flyby night company with no integrity.

Unsere Erfahrung mit Carjet war katastrophal. Wir haben vorab einen Mietwagen gebucht, alles bezahlt! Unser Flug ging von Wien nach Neapel, und wir hatten wetterbedingt Verspätung, kamen dann viel später wie geplant an. Ich versuchte ständig telefonisch wen zu erreichen (ohne Erfolg), schrieb eine Nachricht und Flugnummer hatten sie auch von uns (wird ja empfohlen falls der Flug Verspätung hat) Dann ging es los, laut Buchung hieß es wir müssen eine Nummer anrufen und werden dann von Flughafen abgeholt. Wieder das selbe, niemanden erreicht. Gut, dann haben wir uns eigenständig ein Taxi genommen. Dort angekommen, total Chaos, alle sehr unfreundlich. Auf meine Frage wieso niemand abhebt am Telefon, gab es keine Antwort. Das Telefon läutete ständig und es wurde einfach nicht beantwortet. Sehr toll!!!!! Naja, dann hab ich meine Buchungsbestätigung gezeigt, haben sie mir erklärt, die ist nicht mehr gültig weil wir zu spät sind. Unglaublich, dann hab ich erklärt, dass wir versucht haben anzurufen, wir haben geschrieben und sie haben unsere Flugnummer. War ihnen alles egal. Wir mussten darauf hin ein neues Auto buchen, obwohl schon alles vorab bezahlt war. Diese Zahlung war quasi nicht mehr aufrecht. Die neue Buchung war viel teurer und keine Chance wir mussten nochmal alles und viel mehr bezahlen! Nein Danke nie wieder!!!!!

Booked a car through the Carjet website for the same day (i paid the full amount which was around 80€). They accepted my order to hire the car for a total of 3 days. When i got to the car rental company they sent me to they asked me to cancel th order (around 30 min after the pickup time). I tried to contact carjet company but i didnt recive any response, i cancelled the order, and all what i got was that they will not refund me due the delay in cancellation. and they didn't respond to my e-mails. Disgusting company should be avoided.
