“They ruined my vacation:
Booked and paid my rental car in full in March 2019 for Naxos, Greece on their website.
Upon arrival in Naxos on a Sunday 11th of August morning, no one to welcome us at the ferry as planned. Nice for a family of 5 with luggages starting their vacation in an unknown country. Talked to every rental guy around and no one could help me. Eventually walked 10 minutes to talk to Global rent a car who was the rental company supposed to have the car for us (Carjet is the broker), but they had nothing in their system related to our reservation number. She told me she could not help us and to take a taxi to my hotel since there was no other car available on the island for us. NICE!!! So, we took 2 taxis since we could not fit all in one with the taxi driver. 70 euros more spent...Of course on a sunday, no one from Car jet could be reached on the phone so my family and i had to walk all day. Monday morning, after 20 minutes wait, i finally talk to someone at carjet who said they would make some inquiries... of course nothing back from her, so i called the day after and the day after, sent some emails too. I finally decided to find another solution after 2 1/2 days without a car seeing that these people werer not trying to support me. Found with my hotel, a new car rental for 80 euros for 5 days, ie 400 euros, when i had already paid in March the amount of 304.87 euros in full, for nothing.... Now, we are September 1st and still did not receive the refund from carjet, nor any further communication on the refund processing. This company is a joke. They ruined our first week of vacation and their customer service is "inefficiency" at its worst. I clearly do not recommend using them. I am sure it works great most of the time, but as soon as a piece of sand goes into the system, this is a nightmare and this is where you see if a company is well organized and structured to take care in a proper way of their customers. this is not the case for these people.”
“AVOID THESE CON MERCHANTS AT ALL COSTS. They provided me with documents for an alleged cheap car hire from another bunch rip off merchants called Green Motion car rental at Edinburgh Airport. They charged £69 for 3 days hire of a Kia Picanto or similar. Because I put my name as Bill instead of William, Green Motion did not honour any of the documents supplied by Car Jet PLUS they informed me as my window to cancel the hire had expired that I wont get a penny back from Carjet for their useless paperwork either which ideed proved to be the case.”
“Complete crooks ignore emails . I ended up paying €100 for a late car pick up when paperwork said it should be € 40 . Escalated this now through credit card company”

Cancellation policy does not entitle you to a refund !! All good reviews are the same people on both sites , they keep adding good reviews to hide the real reviews . It's worth reading a few of the 1 Star reviews as these seem to be real people with honest reviews. Might seem cheap but will cost you more in the long run.Don't get caught out like I did , so disappointed in myself for been fooled by there great offers on there simple to use website !!!!”

“I booked a car with Carjet.com including insurance. We went to Portugal and when we arrived we had to pay 2x the price I paid online, because the insurance was not valid and we had to pay extra for the car for reasons I could not understand...
You are in a foreign country and want to have your car, so we put up with it. But Carjet is the biggest rip off. Totally NOT recommended.

“This company may seem cheap at first but they end up being far more expensive than the big companies. Imagine being stuck in a foreign country trying to get your car to be told by the supplier to pay extras. Then imagine googling the carjet customer service telephone number only to realise they don't have one!!!! (no doubt to avoid helping customers like me), and ending up just paying the extra. Use this company at your peril, you will be out of pocket and there is no way to contaoct them to ask them to explain themselves. AVOID!!!!”

I Received my voucher at 16.36 ,my booking was for 14.30 ,I sent a cancellation email at 16.09 as I had not received my booking voucher. Yes they cancelled it for me woohoo but under the terms and conditions they have a NO REFUND POLICY, God knows where my money is gone 😬.
Also paid for additional daily insurance protection but that is not valid with the car rental company . Pointless added extra !!!
Any Positive reviews seem to be dubious so be cautious. Don't waste your money.”

Me and my family had a bad experience, i rented a car prepaid with refund, from CarJet, came to Paris Airport, the flight were delaid some minutes, tried to call CarJet and the carrental, but No answer i was on the Phone for 30 minutes with music and then it got busy, tried to call again, then no answer. came to the carrental office 15minutes to late... And it was closed. So didnt get the car... Had to rent from another carrental and i had to pay 400 euros... I didnt get a refund from them, even when i ordered with that. So i recommend to stay away from this, if anything happens you have no rights at all...”

“I came on here to leave a complaint but I see that this company has a long standing reputation of scamming people out of their money. You will see a lot of disgruntled users on their Facebook page. Paid £170 for a car rental only to be told I needed a further £300 for insurance thereafter despite having paid £53.35 from Carjet. I did not take the vehicle due to this but they stonewall refuse to cancel the extra insurance I took with them despite having 9 days of cover left. Apparently you can only cancel an hour before the rental begins, which is before you may realise there is a problem with your booking. It's criminal the way this company operates. Avoid at all costs.”
“CarJet.com and Easirent.com WARNING !! WARNING !! are part of the same company
I rented a car from CarJet.com for collection on 29/06/2019 from Birmingham Airport at 12.30 .
The flight was delayed by 3.5 hrs from Dublin and therefore I was unable to get to Birmingham on time.
I rang Easirent.com when I arrived at Birmingham ( as instructed ) and it took them 50 mins to arrive and was then asked to go to their depot to collect the car.
I ( and my family ) proceeded to collect the car from Easirent.com Birmingham and I was told by Easirent.com representative , `` You are over 2 hours late and the car has been given to another customer``
I asked , ``was this stipulation on the Terms & Conditions``, and got no reply!.
I requested another car therefore and I was told, `` The money you paid for the Car Hire is non refundable as you are over 2 hours late collecting it , so therefore you can book another car but you must pay for it again `` , which I refused!
I rang Head Office of CarJet.com and was told the same. `` Sorry but should you want another car you must pay for it again``
I had 4 family members with me and all the luggage and had no alternative but to get a taxi from Easirent Depot to my hotel .
I have checked the Booking with CarJet and can not see any reference to being late collecting the car.
