“I was nervous about putting on the new covers (for some reason I doubted whether they'd actually fit) but they're brilliant! I can totally recommend them to save you buying a new sofabed. But I do recommend ordering a few samples to begin with; it's good to feel the different materials/actually see the colours. We chose the performance blend in blue, and I think it's higher quality than the original.”

“We began looking online for a low priced slipcover but decided to spend a bit more to purchase the Comfort Works product, based on the reviews. You know that feeling you get when you make a great decision? Be prepared for that feeling! The quality was very high. Stitching, beading, fabric, delivery, even colour, all above expectations. But by far, I was most impressed with the way it fit. ...Perfectly! Thank you Comfort Works”

“I own a 20 year old Pottery Barn loveseat which had an old faded slip cover. I didn’t want a new loveseat as I love the one I have, but it clearly needed a face lift! Then I found Comfort Works. What a great experience! Jun held my hand through the entire measuring process, which was a little intimidating but it wasn’t that difficult in the end. I had to get a custom fit cover as they did not have a template for my oldie, but goodie loveseat. I was a little nervous about that, but when I got the cover it fit perfectly!! I am so happy with my purchase. Jun is the poster child of an excellent customer service representative. She under promised and over delivered at every turn. When my new slip cover gets that tired look, I’ll be back!”

“Comfort works is a wonderful company - the communications I had with the team was always excellent. The product does take quite a while to make so be prepared to wait 7-9 weeks for delivery, However it is 100% worth it! I have a new couch and I’ve saved the environment from excess waste and saved myself buying a whole new couch!”

“I'd had genuine ikea covers for 10 years and the material had lasted well, with our dog sitting on the sofa without any damage. I chose the Kino fabric which is described as being 'heavy duty' and 'pet friendly'. Within 48 hours of being on, threads became snagged and the seat covers now look rubbish. Comfort Works's response? Snagging isn't covered by their terms and conditions. I pointed out they marketed the fabric as heavy duty and pet friendly, and they offered me 15% off another order. I complained again and they offered 30%. Be very careful ordering from them unless you are 100% confident, as their response to my issue, whilst handled politely and professionally, has been completely inadequate. If they were based in the UK like me I would report them to trading standards.”

Hi Eric. Thanks for your feedback and we're sorry that our proposed solutions were less than satisfactory to you. The fabric you've chosen (Kino) had been subjected to a rub test which was a basis for determining its "heavy-duty" attribute. A high rub count makes it great for repeated washings and high domestic use but does not mean that it is impervious to claws or scratches, and we did see that the snagging on your covers appears to be localised within a small area instead of all over the couch. Having said that, we're going to look into this issue again and to see if we could find an alternative solution for you. -Melvyn from Comfort Works-

“My slipcover arrived and it is quite loose. Comfort Works was responsive but refuses to replace or refund their product as they say their template was correct. They offered a small credit toward alteration but it will not cover it.”

Hi there! Sorry to hear about the issue with your covers. We saw that your sofa frame was built a little differently compared with our slipcover template measurements. Sadly this means that this wasn't a manufacturing error at our end but we did offer to reimburse the cost of the alteration to get the covers to fit your sofa frame. “Can’t recommend enough - the new sofa cover fits like a glove and has transformed my very tired, old and stain covered IKEA sofa bed into something I’m actually proud of. It’s well made and a good, sturdy fabric. Plus, fantastic customer service to boot.”

“This was the best decision I have made in years. We had a sturdy sofa bed from Pottery Barn, but the slipcover was literally falling apart at the seams! Rather than pay $$$$ for the PB replacement, we thought we’d try this company. I took measurements and waited while they made it - when it arrived it fit perfectly!!!! Actually, better than the original!!!! We got simple canvas, so we had to wash it in cold water to take care of the stiffness- but it looks beautiful!! Like, it legitimately looks like a brand new couch! I emphatically vouch for this company!!! It might take a while to get the slipcover (I’m slightly impatient) but it’s absolutely worth the wait!!!”

“What a professional, green, friendly and great company! I’m so pleased at how my old IKEA sofa now looks completely new! Great choice of colors and fabrics, very clear and accurate description and a great instructional video on how to install the new cover. I’m so glad my old worn out sofa isn’t in a landfill, and instead looks fantastic!!”

“I own the old Varnamo sofa in a horrible beige colour from Ikea which is now discontinued but its really comfortable so i decided to try a slip cover. Its a really great cover, it almost looks like its been reupholstered. I debated for a long time but honestly it looks like a new sofa. I got the Classic Velvet Storm in velvet which definately has blue in it. Its like a blue grey. Customer service was amazing. I dealt with Jun Lin and Rachel. Don't hesitate these slipcovers are amazing.”

“Just received the set of slipcovers for our Ikea couch. Having the Sh%t brow couch covered in a nice, clean and fresh new fabric is wonderful! The process was terrific, we received samples and made our best guess at a fabric, and our slipcovers came a few weeks after we ordered them, in a lovely box with nice packaging and a handwritten note. These folks are on top of things! The cover itself is a miracle of modern manufacturing. How it is even possible to sew something like this is beyond me, it seems like it would be easier to fly a helicopter on Mars than to build a piece of fabric with so many pockets and seems, but this thing was perfect! We got it slid on in about 15 minutes, and voila- brand new couch! Thinking about buying another in a different fabric, just because it was so easy. 5 Stars, these are people you want to do business with!”

“Comfort Works has the best customer service ever! Nora worked tirelessly with me to make sure that our measurements were correct. We just received our slipcover and it's perfect! The material is so soft and the slipcover fits perfectly. My Pottery Barn Basic couch looks brand new!”
